Abstract

Qualitative research was carried out using the Exploratory Research method and the Snowball Sampling interview method with Functional Employees and Officials of the West Java Provincial Civil Service Agency, as key informants. Using the theoretical dimensions of Integrated Talent Management from Berger and Berger (2018) as a knife for analyzing the implementation of talent management, and making a SWOT analysis to choose the right strategy implementation. The results of the study show that effective talent management practices are able to create superior performing employees. To achieve effective talent management, a strategy is needed to strengthen Employee Career Planning, increase Employee Capabilities, build a Talent Mindset culture, obtain full support from the Organization’s Top Leaders, and build a One Apps Talent Management Information Service System. The impact of this research is that it will be able to create opportunities to develop the implementation of effective talent management strategies in public organizations. In an effort to produce superior Employee Performance, it is important for the Organization to align its Organizational Strategy, Culture, Structure and Talent in order to create a world-class West Java Bureaucracy.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Purpose – The purpose of this study is to determine how company size, corporate social responsibility and return on assets impact the price earninf ratio, either partially or simultaneously. Methodology/approach – The study population was 24 companies and samples were collected using the purposive sampling method, with a sample number of 9 companies with an 11-year study period. This research uses a data analysis method, namely panel data regression with the Eviews 10 program. Findings – The results of data processing show that company size, corporate social responsibility, return on assets simultaneously affect and significantly affect the price earning ratio. While some of the size of the company has a significant effect on the price earning ratio, corporate social responsibility has a significant effect on the price earning ratio and return on assets does not have a significant effect on the price earning ratio. Abstract

This study uses descriptive verificative approach to determine, analyze, and examine the influence of competence, organizational commitment, and motivation on clinical teaching doctor performance and its implication for quality of medical graduates at the Faculty of Medicine of Association of Indonesian Medical Education Institutions (AIPKI) Region III. This study is carried out using causal explanatory survey to examine the causal relationship between independent, intervening, and dependent variables using path analysis. The research sample is 185 clinical teaching doctors, which is chosen using proportional random sampling. The data obtained is first analyzed for validity and reliability, and is then tested for the hypothesis using path analysis. The findings indicate that competence, organizational commitment, and motivation partially has a positive and significant influence on clinical teachning doctor performance. Furthermore, it is also found that competence, organizational commitment, and motivation simultaneously have positive and significant influence on clinical teaching doctor performance. This implies that when the competence, organizational commitment, and motivation of clinical teaching doctor increase, this will lead to higher performance. In addition, this study found that clinical teaching doctor performance has a positive and significant influence on quality of graduates.

Abstract

The tourists length of stay of is an important indicator characterizing the benefit of tourism in particular city. Therefore it is important to comprehend what factors related to tourist length of stay. In addition to obtaining the characteristics of domestic tourists visiting Bandung, this study also aims to determine the effect of spending, number of visits to attractions, the distance of the city of origin, and perception of security, comfort, congestion, and weather in Bandung Raya, to the tourists length of stay. The study was conducted through a survey of 100 tourists who were visiting the tourist attraction as respondents, which was chosen by cluster random sampling method. Variables that positively and significantly affect the length of stay are expenditure, distance of the city of origin, and perception of security. In the long run, if the tourist segmenting and targeting are not adjusted then it is very difficult for Bandung City to acquire longer lenght-of stay tourists.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges and opportunities for knowledge management systems (KMS) in various domains and sectors. This research explores the strategies to manage expectational knowledge in higher education after the COVID-19 pandemic. This study employed a qualitative research method with a case study design to capture the students’ perspectives on strategies to manage expectational knowledge in higher education after the COVID-19 pandemic. The participants are students at the doctoral program, Universitas Pasundan, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. The interview was conducted in December 2022 using a semi-structured interview technique and then was analyzed using thematic analysis. This research found four strategies doctoral management students use to manage expectation knowledge after the COVID-19 pandemic. The strategies are codification, personalization, knowledge partnering, and knowledge harvesting. The research implications of this study provide a foundation for future research endeavors to advance the understanding and application of knowledge management strategies in the post-pandemic higher education landscape.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify, examine, and analyze the influence of green marketing on green customer satisfaction, the influence of green perceived value on green customer satisfaction, the influence of environmental concern on green satisfaction, and the influence of green satisfaction on green customer loyalty of Uniqlo consumers in Bandung Metropolitan. Data were collected from respondents aged between 17 and 55 years old, residing in the Bandung Metropolitan area, and having purchased Uniqlo's green products at least twice in the past year. The analysis was performed using Lisrel - Structural Equation Modeling version 8.8. The findings reveal that green marketing, green perceived value, and environmental concern simultaniously contribute 73.6% to green customer satisfaction with Uniqlo in Bandung Metropolitan, while the remaining 26.4% is influenced by other variables. Partially, green marketing contributes 18.5%, green perceived value 24.4%, and environmental concern 30.7% to green satisfaction. Additionally, green satisfaction has been proven to have a significant influence of 79.9% on green loyalty among Uniqlo consumers in Bandung Metropolitans.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan dan Display Produk Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian jam tangan dan tas di store Urban Icon Mall Aeon BSD Tangerang secara parsial dan simultan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan assosiatif. Teknik sampling menggunakan rumus slovin dengan margin error 10%. Jumlah sampel yang diperoleh berjumlah 100 orang dan pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuisioner dengan mengacu pada skala likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji instrumen data, uji asumsi klasik, uji kuantitatif dan uji hipotesis dengan SPSS 29. Uji hipotesis parsial kualitas pelayanan diperoleh nilai Thitung ≥ Ttabel (thitung 15,763 ≥ ttabel 1,660) atau nilai Sig (<0,001 ≤ 0,05) maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, yang artinya variabel kualitas pelayanan secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Uji hipotesis parsial display produk diperoleh nilai Thitung ≥ Ttabel (thitung 14,596 ≥ ttabel 1,660) atau nilai Sig (<0,001 ≤ 0,05) maka H0 ditolak dan H2 diterima, yang artinya variabel display produk secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Kualitas Pelayanan (X1) dan display produk (X2) secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian (Y) yang dibuktikan dari hasil persamaan regresi linier berganda Y= 0.034 + 0,420 (X1) + 0,559 (X2)+ ie   dan nilai Fhitung ≥ Ftabel (167,686 ≥ 3,090) dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,05 (<.001b< 0,05),   maka  H0   ditolak  dan  H3 diterima,  Nilai koefisien determinasi (R  Square)  sebesar  0,776 sedangkan  sisanya  sebesar  (100%  -  77,6%  =  22,4%) dipengaruhi  oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

McKinsey's 7S framework is a tool used to analyze the internal aspects of a company's organization using 7 main elements: Strategy, Structure, System, Shared Values, Style, Staff and Skills. Institutional performance using the Nine Key Indicators Criteria, namely: Vision, Mission, Goals and Strategies; Governance, Governance and Cooperation; Students; Human Resources; Finance, Facilities, Infrastructure; Education; Research; Community Service; Tridharma Outputs and Achievements. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and using SWOT Analysis and Nvivo 12 For Windows Software so that accurate and detailed data were obtained involving ten key informants from Nurtanio University Bandung officials, resulting in a Strategy for Optimizing the Application of McKinsey's 7S Framework in Efforts to Improve the Performance of University Institutions. Unnur's functional strategies include: Human Resources Strengthening Strategy, Important Role of the Finance Department, Research and Development / Innovation Implementation Strategy, External Strengthening Strategy. With these strategies and programs, Unnur is expected to improve institutional performance.

Abstract

Introduction: Hospitals, functioning both as public service institutions and business entities, must prioritize patient satisfaction to ensure the sustainability of their services. This study explores the relationships among operational strategy, operational competence, quality culture, and service quality, as well as their combined impact on patient satisfaction in Indonesian hospitals. Methods: This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected from 300 respondents, comprising medical and non-medical staff, across four hospitals in Jambi Province. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was utilized for data analysis, enabling an in-depth examination of both direct and indirect relationships among the variables. Results: The findings revealed that operational strategy and operational competence significantly influenced quality culture and service quality. Additionally, quality culture and service quality collectively impacted patient satisfaction, highlighting the critical roles of these factors in enhancing hospital performance. Notably, service quality had the strongest direct effect on patient satisfaction, while quality culture contributed to sustaining these improvements over time. Conclusions: These findings underscore the essential role of strategic alignment and operational excellence in achieving higher levels of patient satisfaction. The study provides valuable insights for hospital management and policymakers in developing countries, advocating for the integration of strategic planning and competency development to enhance healthcare delivery systems and improve patient outcomes.

Abstract

The creative economy industry can develop and progress with support from the Creative Economy Agency owned by the Government of Indonesia. The role of a woman is to take care of the family and manage household activities. When a woman owns or manages a business enterprise, the majority of locals seem to question her ability to strike a balance between work and family responsibilities. The significant function of micro, medium and small enterprises in Indonesia is owned and managed by women entrepreneurs. Respondents of productive age housewives in the DIY Upload community to illustrate and produce Human Resource Development Strategies for the formation of a strong Entrepreneurial Character in productive age housewives. The Strategy of Cooperation with External Parties and the Strategy for Increasing Management and Business Knowledge are strategies needed to improve weaknesses and seize opportunities for the formation of a Resilient Entrepreneurial Character.
