Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan koneksi matematis dan kebiasaan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Tinambung. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto yang bersifat kausal komparatif dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 87 siswa yaitu kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Tinambung yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen: (1) tes kemampuan koneksi matematis, (2) angket kebiasaan belajar, dan (3) tes hasil belajar matematika. Analisis data dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil pengujian deskriptif data menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan koneksi matematis berada pada kategori kurang. (2) kebiasaan belajar berada pada kategori sedang, dan (3) hasil belajar matematika siswa berada pada kategori sedang. Adapun hipotesis dalam penelitian ini ada 3 dengan hasil pegujian menggunakan analisis regresi berganda, yaitu: (1) kemampuan koneksi matematis tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, (2) kebiasaan belajar berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, (3) kemampuan koneksi matematis dan kebiasaan belajar secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of mathematical connection ability and mathematical dispositions on mathematics learning ourcomes for student of class XI IPS MA Pergis Campalagian. The approach which used in this research was a quantitative approach with the type of research is ex-post facto. The research sample was 37 students who were selected using the saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques used the following instruments: (1) mathematical connection ability test, (2) mathematical disposition questionnaire, and (3) mathematics learning outcomes test. Data was analysis used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The result showed that: (1) the avarage mathematical connection ability is in the low category, (2) the avarage mathematical disposition is in the medium category, and (3) the avarage mathematics learning outcomes are in the low category. There are 3 hypotheses in this study with test result using simple linear  regression analysis and multiple linear regression, namely: (1) mathematical connection ability had a positive and significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes, (2) mathematical disposition had a positive and significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes, and (3) mathematical connection abilities and mathematical dispositions positive and significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes

Abstract

[English]: This article aims to elucidate the effectiveness of Missouri mathematics project-problem solving learning (MMP-PS) toward mathematical reasoning ability and self-efficacy. We conducted quasi-experiment research which involves 132 lower secondary school students (age 14-15 years old) as the population. Of the population, 25 students respectively in two classes were selected randomly as experiment class and control class. The experiment class was taught using MMP-PS, and a control class was taught using MMP (Missouri mathematics project learning). Data were analyzed using one sample t-test to examine the effectiveness of MMP-PS and MMP toward mathematics reasoning ability and self-efficacy. The difference of students’ mathematical reasoning and self-efficacy before and after the treatment was analyzed using Manova. The comparison of the effectiveness of MMP-PS and MMP were analyzed through a t-Benferroni test. This article shows that MMP-PS is effective on mathematical reasoning ability and self-efficacy. Meanwhile, MMP is effective on mathematical reasoning ability. The MMP-PS was better than MMP on students’ self-efficacy. Thus, MMP-PS could be utilized in mathematics learning to support students’ mathematical reasoning ability and self-efficacy. Keywords: Missouri mathematics project, Problem solving, Mathematical reasoning, self-efficacy [Bahasa]: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran missouri mathematics project dengan pendekatan problem solving (MMP-PS) terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematika dan self-efficacy. Penelitian kuasi eksperimen dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan 132 siswa SMP (kisaran umur 14-15 tahun) sebagai populasi. Dipilih secara acak dua kelas yang terdiri dari masing-masing 25 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran Missouri mathematics project dengan pendekatan problem solving dan kelas kontrol diajar dengan pembelajaran missouri mathematics project (MMP). Data penelitian dianalisis melalui uji satu sampel untuk mengukur keefektifan MMP-PS dan MMP terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematika dan self-efficacy. Perbedaan kemampuan penalaran matematika dan self-efficacy siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran dianalisis menggunakan uji Manova. Perbandingan keunggulan antara MMP-PS dan MMP menggunakan uji t-Benferroni. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MMP-PS efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran matematika dan self-efficacy. Sementara itu, pembelajaran MMP efektif ditinjau kemampuan penalaran matematika. Pembelajaran MMP-PS lebih unggul dari pembelajaran MMP ditinjau dari self-efficacy siswa. Jadi, MMP-PS bisa digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk mendukung kemampuan penalaran matematika dan self-efficacy. Abstract

Literacy culture is very important to improve the quality of education in both rural and urban areas. Lamakkaraseng Village, Ulaweng District has a low literacy culture because there are residents who are not yet proficient in reading, writing or arithmetic. The Service Team conducted Calistung training activities (reading, writing, and arithmetic) for the villagers of Lamakkaraseng to improve their Literacy culture. The results obtained are that the participants' reading and writing skills as well as numeracy skills have improved, and some residents have started to get used to reading every day when they see the writings displayed around them. In addition, they are satisfied with the training activities carried out by the community service team

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Influence of learning styles and learning independence on the mathematical problem-solving Ability of students in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Majene. This study is an ex-post facto causal study with a sample of 78 students, namely 39 students of class XI MIPA 1 and 39 students of class XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Majene which were selected using cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques used three instruments, namely: (1) learning style questionnaire, (2) learning independence questionnaire, (3) problem solving ability test. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of descriptive analysis of the data show that: (1) Visual learning style is in good category, audiotorial learning style is in good category, kinesthetic learning style is in good category (2) Learning independence is in very high category (3) Mathematical problem-solving ability students are in the sufficient category. The results of hypothesis testing using simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression, namely: (1) learning style has a significant effect on students' mathematical problem-solving ability, (2) learning independence has a significant effect on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, (3) learning styles and independence learning has a significant effect on students' mathematical problem-solving ability

Abstract

Generalisasi merupakan ciri siswa dapat berpikir matematis. Guru dapat mengembangkan bahan ajar berbentuk buku teks untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan generalisasi. Penelitian ini merupakan hasil pengembangan model ADDIE yaitu tahap penerapan dan evaluasi, dengan produk berupa buku teks matematika kelas VIII semester genap yang berorientasi pada kemampuan generalisasi matematis siswa. Buku teks dengan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik (RME) ini memuat lima prinsip meliputi eksplorasi fenomenologi, menjembatani dengan instrumen vertikal, kontruksi dan produksi siswa, interaktivitas, dan keterkaitan. Melalui alur kegiatan pemberian lebih dari satu konteks permasalahan, identifikasi kesamaan pola atau strategi hingga penarikan kesimpulan terkait materi, serta pemberian latihan soal pemodelan, buku teks ini telah memfasilitasi kemampuan generalisasi matematis. Berdasarkan hasil penerapan buku teks yang melibatkan 30 siswa kelas VIII salah satu SMP Negeri di Yogyakarta, persentase banyaknya siswa pada kategori good memenuhi batas minimal 75% yaitu mencapai 93,33%.  Generalization is a feature that students can think mathematically. Teachers can develop teaching materials in the form of textbooks to facilitate generalization abilities. This study was the developmental stage of ADDIE model, namely the implementation and evaluation. The study produced a textbook for 8th grade even semester which was oriented to students' mathematical generalization skills. The textbook integrating a realistic mathematics education approach contained five principles including phenomenological exploration, bridging by vertical instruments, pupils’ own constructions and productions, interactivity, and intertwining. The flow of activities provided more than one problem context, identifying similarities in patterns or strategies to draw conclusions related to the material as well as modeling exercises to facilitate students' mathematical generalization abilities. Based on the results of textbook implementation involving 30 8th grade students from one of a state junior high school in Yogyakarta, the percentage of students in good category met the minimum point of 75%, which reached 93.33%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk pengaruh interaksi teman sebaya dan regulasi diri terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Tinambung. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ex post facto yang bersifat Causal Comparative Research dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 148 siswa yaitu kelas VIII A, VIII B, VIII C, VIII D, VIII E, VIII F, dan VIII G yang dipiih dengan menggunakan Probabilty Sampling (proportionate stratified random sampling). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument: (1) angket interaksi teman sebaya, (2) angket regulasi diri, dan (3) tes hasil belajar matematika. Analisis data dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil pengujian deskriptif data menunjukkan bahwa: (1) interaksi teman sebaya berada pada kategori tinggi, (2) regulasi diri berada pada kategori sedang, dan (3) hasil belajar patematika siswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Adapun hipotesis analisis inferensial dalam penelitian ini ada 3 dengan hasil pengujian menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dan regresi linear berganda, yaitu: (1) terdapat pengaruh interaksi teman sebaya terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Tinambung, (2) terdapat pengaruh regulasi diri terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Tinambung, (3) terdapat interaksi teman sebaya dan regulasi diri terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Tinambung.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe enhancement mathematical problem solving ability of students by applying creative problem solving learning. This study is classroom action research which consists of 2 cycles by adopting the scheme from Kemmis and Taggar. This study was carried out at SMP Negeri SATAP Tandasura. The instruments used to collect data consisted of problem solving ability tests, student response questionnairy, and learning observation sheet. Abstract

This study aims to elucidate quiz team learning based on learning motivation and students' mathematics learning outcomes. The type in this study is experimental research. The research design was quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Tinambung for the 2022/2023 academic year. Sampling in this study uses a simple random sampling technique. Data were analysed using independent sample t-tests and post hoc tests (t-benferroni). The resulting study showed that there were differences in quiz team learning and conventional learning based on learning motivation, there were differences effect of quiz team learning and conventional learning based on student mathematics learning outcomes, and quiz team learning was better than conventional learning based on learning motivation and student mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika dan kemandirian belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Majene dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Pada penelitian ini kelas IX B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IX E sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran MASTER (Motivating, Acquiring, Searching, Triggering, Exhibiting, Reflecting) dan model pembelajaran langsung efektif ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematika dan kemandirian belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian quasi-eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan adanya perbedaan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran oleh siswa dimana pada kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori sangat baik sedangkan kelas kontrol berada pada kategori baik. Selanjutnya hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan model pembelajaran terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika dan kemandirian belajar siswa.
