The tourism sector is one of the development sectors that affect economic growth. Where this tourism activity can create a multiplier effect for the community, especially around tourist destinations, in the form of economic activities, such as the emergence of new businesses, trade and other business activities. This systematic review aims to determine the determinants of tourism demand that affect regional and national economic growth. This review is methodologically limited to descriptive methods rather than statistical methods in the analysis of results by carrying out 3 stages of analysis. The data used are 40 journals. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of fertilizer subsidies on the production and household income of rice farming in Indonesia using the 2017 crops business cost structure survey data. Utilizing the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method, this research shows that rice farming households that received fertilizer subsidies have higher production and income than households that did not receive subsidies. Simultaneously, in the Two-Stage Least Square (TSLS) method, the usage of the ownership status of a household residential building as an instrument for the fertilizer subsidy variable is considered inaccurate so that it cannot answer the research objectives.

Abstract

The tourism industry is experiencing a transformative shift as the demand for sustainable practices increases, driven significantly by Generation Z. Born between the mid-1990s and early 2010s, Generation Z is characterized by their digital savviness, social awareness, and environmental consciousness. This systematic literature review (SLR) explores the travel motivations and sustainable tourism practices of Generation Z, synthesizing findings from studies published between 2018 and 2024. Our analysis reveals that Generation Z values personalized and unique travel experiences, cultural immersion, and natural attractions, heavily influenced by social media platforms and digital tools. Despite their strong preference for eco-friendly travel options, there is a notable gap between their environmental attitudes and actual sustainable behaviors. Cross-cultural differences also significantly shape sustainable tourism preferences within Generation Z. This study underscores the need for targeted educational and marketing strategies to bridge this gap and highlights the importance of integrating advanced digital technologies in tourism strategies. The findings provide valuable insights for tourism stakeholders to develop tailored marketing campaigns, sustainable tourism products, and policies that align with Generation Z's values, contributing to the broader academic discourse on sustainable tourism.

Abstract

Work accidents when entering enclosed spaces (water ballast tank) pose a high risk that can endanger the safety of ship crew. This study aims to identify: 1) the factors causing work accidents during entry into the enclosed space (water ballast tank) on MT. Emmanuel; and 2) efforts to minimize the risk of such accidents. This research was conducted over 12 months during onboard practical training on MT. Emmanuel using fishbone analysis as the data analysis technique. Based on the analysis, accident causes include worker overconfidence, non-compliance with the permit to enter procedures, lack of oxygen and toxic gas monitoring, and poor communication among crew members. Suggested measures to minimize accidents are the regular implementation of safety meetings, internal sanctions for SOP violators, periodic drills for entering hazardous spaces, and disciplined enforcement of the permit to enter in accordance with ISGOTT 5th Edition Chapter 10 standards. The implementation of these steps is expected to improve crew safety and reduce the risk of accidents in enclosed spaces.

Abstract

Corruption is a phenomenon not easy to observe. Corruption theory and existing definitions are ambivalent, both in size and level. Mathematical models, and econometrics are prone to statistical errors. Fuzzy logic facilitates more humane modeling and analysis. Fuzzy logic is not bound by strong assumptions, as a solution to solve complex problems, and not precise, including corruption analysis. The main objective of this study is to measure corruption in Indonesia. The research method used fuzzy logic by specifying the Mamdani fuzzy inference system (FIS) model. FIS Mamdani was chosen because it is more human manner. Sources of secondary data used in this research from various institutions. The results show that corruption time series data can be produced. During the research year (1995-2020), corruption that occurred in Indonesia was 36.14 percent of real GDP per capita.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the tourism sector (number of tourists, number of hotels, number of restaurants, number of tourist objects and purchasing power per capita) on PDRB of Banyuwangi Regency. This study uses secondary data for 2010-2020 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Banyuwangi Regency. Data analysis using multiple linear regression method where the model is transformed into the natural logarithm of the econometric model. From the partial test, it is found that there are four variables that affect the PDRB of Banyuwangi district, namely the number of tourists (X1), the number of restaurants (X3), the number of tourist objects (X4) and per capita purchasing power (X5). While the variable number of hotels (X2) has no effect on the PDRB of Banyuwangi Regency. While the simultaneous test showed that together the number of tourists (X1), the number of hotels (X2), the number of restaurants (X3), the number of tourist objects (X4) and Per capita Purchasing Power (X5) had a  ositive and significant effect on the PDRB of Banyuwangi Regency.
