Abstract

Human resources play an important role in the successful achievement of performance. Employee performance is the result of the work achieved by employees in a company. This study aims to investigate the impact of organizational culture, organizational commitment, and perceived organizational support on employee performance at a paper manufacturing plant. The descriptive data and SEM were analyzed using The Jeffreys’s Amazing Statistics Program (JASP) method. Data were collected from 107 respondents who participated in paper manufacturing plants (52 males (48.6%), 55 females (51.4%); MageMage= 38, SD = 8.4). The results showed that (1) organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance (β = 0,533, p 0,05). (3) Perceived organizational support has no significant effect on employee performance (β = 0,039, p > 0.05). In this study, organizational commitment and perceived organizational support did not influence employee performance. Among employees, expectations for increasing organizational commitment and perceptions of organizational support for improving employee performance are still not high enough. The findings of this study highlight that organizational culture has the strongest influence compared to organizational commitment and perceived organizational support on employee performance. To improve employee performance, organizations can internalize cultural values through socialization activities, corporate culture training, and cultural rituals so that employee work behavior will develop, contributing to improved performance in the organization.

Abstract

This study seeks to address three primary inquiries: firstly, to establish priority criteria for selecting job satisfaction factors; secondly, to identify priority sub-criteria in the selection of these factors; and thirdly, to determine the most crucial factors influencing employee job satisfaction. Employing the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, the research serves as an analytical tool to resolve the complexities of selecting job satisfaction factors and aids companies in establishing assessment criteria for these factors. The study focuses on three criteria categories—financial, social, and work environment factors—for measuring employee job satisfaction. Each criterion encompasses various relevant sub-criteria for evaluating job satisfaction. Utilizing the AHP method, the research analyzes assessment outcomes with a quantitative scale from 1 to 9, assessing the relative importance of each unit in comparison to others. Concentrating on factors impacting employee satisfaction in the information technology sector, this research offers a unique perspective compared to previous studies. The aim is to conclude and compare the influencing factors on employee job satisfaction levels in IT companies. The study's contribution lies in providing a comprehensive view of priorities and sub-priorities in the selection of job satisfaction factors.

Abstract

Along with the development of information and communication technology (ICT), the challenges in the world of education are increasingly complex, where teachers are not only required to master teaching materials, but also must be able to utilize technology effectively in interactive learning processes. The purpose of this activity is to improve teacher competence in organizing interactive classes by utilizing technology. The existing problem is that teachers who are the target of community service still have difficulty in integrating ICT into their learning process due to lack of knowledge about educational software, interactive learning applications, inability to design interactive classes, and limited access to relevant digital resources. As a solution, a training workshop was conducted which included theoretical sessions on the concept of ICT in education as well as practical sessions involving exercises in the use of software and learning applications. The results obtained showed a significant increase in the assessment results before and after the training. From these results, it can be generally concluded that the implementation of the training has provided results as expected where there is an increase in the participants' understanding of the interactive learning process. These results are important because they show that the interactive learning process based on ICT can improve the participants' understanding by experiencing the interactive learning experience directly.ABSTRAKSeiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK), tantangan dalam dunia menjadi pendidikan semakin kompleks, di mana guru tidak hanya dituntut untuk menguasai materi ajar, tetapi juga harus mampu memanfaatkan teknologi secara efektif dalam proses pembelajaran yang interaktif.
