Abstract

Coal mining policies and activities in addition to having a positive impact on state income, job creation and business, also have a negative impact on ecosystems and communities in the mining area. The study was conducted in two mining communities in South Kalimantan using an emic and etic approach to explore community resilience and food insecurity due to ecological changes and the impact of mining policies and activities. Coal mining policies and activities in South Kalimantan causes catastrophic floods, land damage, and crop failure on lowland rice fields that have an impact on potential food insecurity at the household and community level. The pattern of community resilience in the two communities is in the form of social movements as a form of social adaptation, and agricultural land recovery and changing agricultural commodities as a form of ecological adaptation. The process of community resilience in the two communities is at the level of recovery towards a stable community condition, not yet at the transformation stage. Community capability is the most influential factor on the degree of community resilience so that the handling of food insecurity based on community resilience needs to be done by developing strategies to increase community capability.

Abstract

A village is an arena for sustainable development where economic, social, cultural, environmental and political interactions occur. It has a strategic meaning for the successful achievement of the 17 indicators of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, villages have limitations in providing data and indicators to measure the achievement of SDGs based on RW. The aims of this study are to provide Precision Village Data (DDP) and use it to measure and analyze the achievement indicators of 16 out of 17 village SDGs. One of SDGs 14, namely the marine ecosystem is not measured because the research location is a terrestrial village with an altitude of 423-902 m ASL. The use of DDP in the research location with normalization and aggregation methods based on arithmetic averages made this study successful in calculating the scores of each village SDGs. Then the results of the analysis of the village DDP and SDGs were combined with spatial mapping. The results showed that the SDGs in Sukamantri Village cumulatively achieved quite good results. A total of 3 SDGs was classified as very good, 4 SDGs were classified as good, 3 SDGs were classified as good enough, 5 SDGs were lacking, and 2 SDGs were poorest. Referring to the SDGs index calculation for Sukamantri Village, the environmental pillar has the highest score and is on average very good. However, the social and economic pillars are in the poor category, the law and governance pillars are in the poorest category. This means that sustainable development in Sukamantri Village has not been achieved. The natural wealth in Sukamantri Village has not been managed to achieve the fulfillment of basic human rights that are of a just and equal quality, for the well-being of the villagers and the realization of inclusive and quality economic growth.

Abstract

The tourism sector plays an important role in supporting rural development through the establishment of tourism villages, but not all tourist attractions are successful in creating effective branding. This action research activity aims to make efforts to rebrand Giwangkara River Tubing Tour in Neglasari Village as a strategic step in rural development. The method used was a descriptive qualitative approach, obtained from in-depth interviews with tour managers. The results showed that Giwangkara River Tubing Tourism has not done optimal branding due to the lack of human resources in managing social media accounts and the lack of skills in graphic design affects the effectiveness of social media management. The existence of rebranding efforts has a positive impact as seen from the increase in the number of followers, viewers, and likes on @giwangkararivertubing Instagram reels. In addition, the number of tourist visitors also increased after the implementation of the rebranding action. This activity emphasizes the importance of a good branding strategy in increasing tourism attractiveness and supporting rural development. Rebranding not only increases online visibility but also encourages local economic growth through increased tourist visits. The results of the implementation of this activity are expected to be a reference for other tourism managers in developing effective and sustainable branding strategies. Rebranding efforts that involve digital skills training for tourism managers are also recommended to ensure sustainability and long-term success.

Abstract

Pertanian masih menjadi mata pencaharian utama bagi sebagian besar masyarakat Indonesia, termasuk di Kota Bogor, yang sebagian besar penduduknya menggantungkan pendapatan pada sektor pertanian. Peningkatan kapasitas petani menjadi penting seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi. Keberadaan aplikasi Ekosis menjadi salah satu solusi bagi pemasaran pertanian, khususnya bagi kelompok tani seperti Kelompok Tani Andalan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan kapasitas anggota kelompok tani melalui pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi Ekosis, dengan harapan dapat memperbaiki pemasaran dan penjualan hasil tani. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dimulai dengan metode observasi dan wawancara mendalam secara langsung kepada ketua kelompok tani melalui tahapan riset perencanaan, aksi, observasi, dan refleksi. Kegiatan pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi Ekosis dilakukan langsung kepada anggota kelompok tani. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan anggota kelompok tani belum memanfaatkan teknologi secara maksimal dalam kegiatan pertanian mereka, terutama dalam hal pemasaran. Pengenalan dan pendampingan aplikasi Ekosis diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan anggota kelompok tani dalam menggunakan teknologi digital untuk pemasaran hasil tani. Aplikasi ini berpotensi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pemasaran dan penjualan produk pertanian, serta mendukung keberhasilan usaha tani di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

Desa Wisata Tematik Mulyaharja adalah salah satu desa wisata yang mengalami peningkatan kunjungan ketika pandemi Covid-19 melanda. Desa tersebut dikelola oleh masyarakat setempat yang berhimpun dalam Kelompok Penggerak Pariwisata (Kompepar). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Ketua Kompepar pada pengelolaan Kampung Wisata Tematik Mulyaharja di Kota Bogor, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang menguji hubungan antara peran kepemimpinan dan keberhasilan Program Kampung Wisata Tematik Mulyaharja. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei yang menggunakan pengambilan data melalui kuisioner, selanjutnya dilakukan juga wawancara mendalam sebagai data pendukung. Pada penelitian ini juga dilakukan uji korelasi spearman untuk melihat hubungan antara peran kepemimpinan dan keberhasilan Program Kampung Wisata Tematik Mulyaharja. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran kepemimpinan yang berhubungan dengan keberhasilan program Kampung Wisata Tematik Mulyaharja yaitu peran pemimpin sebagai fasilitator. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi pemimpin memfasilitasi kebutuhan anggotanya maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat keberhasilan Program Desa Wisata Tematik Mulyaharja.

Abstract

Masih rendahnya kemampuan petani koi di Dusun Kuwut, Desa Kemloko, dalam pemahaman dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam membudidayakan ikan koi menjadi alasan dilaksanakannya pelatihan literasi digital. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan melalui dua tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan berupa Focus Group Discussion (FGD) antara tim IPB dengan Kelompok Masyarakat (Pokmas) Ana Cahaya Koi dan tahap pelaksanaan berupa pengembangan masyarakat berbasis desa wisata dan pelatihan literasi digital untuk pengembangan media promosi paket wisata unggulan berbasis budi daya ikan koi. Rangkaian pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di Dusun Kuwut, Desa Kemloko, Kecamatan Nglegok, Kabupaten Blitar, pada bulan 2-10 Agustus 2024. Pelatihan ini membekali petani koi tentang pentingnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai literasi digital dan kemampuan digital dalam perkembangan usaha, seperti penggunaan teknologi IoT untuk budi daya koi. Melalui penggunaan IoT, efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam budi daya ikan koi lebih dapat dirasakan, salah satunya dalam pemberian pakan yang tidak terlalu boros namun tepat waktu. Pelatihan literasi digital ini menjadi salah satu strategi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan terkait keterbatasan pemahaman terkait literasi digital, sehingga melalui pelatihan ini harapannya tingkat literasi digital petani dapat meningkat dan diaplikasikan langsung dalam membudidayakan ikan koi.

Abstract

Indonesia's potential resources are beneficial for both organic and inorganic agricultural businesses. The presence of organic farming can shift consumer consumption patterns, resulting in market competition with inorganic producers. Marketing in the farming sector plays a crucial role in ensuring that agricultural products reach the final consumer. This activity aims to assist farmers in developing effective marketing strategies for organic farm products to strengthen agrarian competitiveness. The method used is a qualitative approach through observation and in-depth interviews, as well as conducting action research with the stages of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. This activity was conducted at the Tani Jaya Group in Ciaruteun Ilir Village, Cibungbulang District, Bogor Regency. Data analysis uses the SWOT matrix to examine internal and external factors. The activity results show that the Tani Jaya Group has great potential in organic farming, but limited digital knowledge hinders its marketing. A branding strategy for marketing organic agricultural products to strengthen agricultural competitiveness through social media, complete product information, and the pre-order (PO) system is essential. Therefore, digital marketing assistance and professional social media management are also needed to increase farmers' awareness of marketing strategies as promotional media.
