Abstract

Tjilik Riwut Palangka Raya Airport is one of the main gateways in Central Kalimantan province. In 2023, the airport will serve around 40,000 passengers, indicating an increase in aviation activity that requires high efficiency in facility management. Helicopters at Tjilik Riwut Airport have an important role in various operations, including medical evacuation, goods delivery and government missions. Currently, helicopters only land in regular commercial aircraft parking areas, which are not specifically designed for helicopter needs. This can cause a buildup of activity, disrupting flight schedules. This research aims to analyze the needs and benefits of building a Helicopter Stand at Tjilik Riwut Airport, as well as assessing its impact on the smooth running of flights. This research uses qualitative methods and the types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. By using analytical techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Testing the validity of the data used in this research is technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this research show that the helicopter stand facilities at Tjilik Riwut Airport are currently not fully adequate, it is necessary to reorganize the area to ensure clearer separation between helicopters and commercial aircraft in order to reduce the potential for accidents and avoid the potential for overlapping with other aircraft in the parking stand area.

Abstract

Fasilitas transportasi darat adalah salah satu komponen krusial yang mempengaruhi aksesibilitas dan kenyamanan penumpang dalam mencapai bandar udara. minat penumpang dalam transportasi darat ini sangat berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kunjungan dan kepuasan penumpang secara keseluruhan, karena dapat diketahui apabila pelanggan merasa puas dengan kualitas layanan atau kualitas fasilitas yang memadai, sehingga mereka akan membandingkannya dengan perusahaan lain. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah fasilitas transportasi darat memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat penumpang di Bandar Udara Internasional Kertajati Majalengka dan jika ya, untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh tersebut. Metode yang dipakai yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan teknik nonprobability sampling dan purposive sampling disebar melalui kuesioner sejumlah 100 responden. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan skala likert dengan 20 pertanyaan sesuai dengan indikator masing-masing variabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS untuk menganalisis deskriptif dan menguji asumsi klasik serta uji hipotesis dan regresi linier sederhana. Pada variabel fasilitas transportasi darat, hasil t hitung t tabel yakni 11,072 1,984 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 0,05 memperlihatkan jika sarana transportasi darat berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat penumpang di Bandara Internasional Kertajati Majalengka. Dengan selisih 100–55,6%, variabel minat penumpang mampu memberikan pengaruh sejumlah 55,6% terhadap variabel sarana transportasi darat, sementara itu variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian memberikan pengaruh atau kontribusi sejumlah 44,4%.

Abstract

Tingginya tingkat turnover intention menjadi perhatian penting dalam nmanajemen sumber daya manusia, terutama pada industri aviasi yang menuntut kinerja tinggi. Work Overload, Job Burnout dan Stres Kerja menjadi faktor yang sering dialami oleh karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan Work Overload, Job Burnout dan Stres Kerja terhadap Turnover Intention karyawan di PT Gapura Angkasa di Bandar Udara Internasional Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 101 responden sebagai sample penelitian. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan karyawan di PT Gapura Angkasa Bandar Udara Internasional Yogyakarta. Terdapat 4 Variabel yaitu Variabel Work Overload (X1), Job Burnout (X2) , Stres Kerja (X3) dan Turnover Intention (Y). Instrumen dianalisis dengan uji validitas dan reabilitas. Data responden diolah dengan menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif, uji Korelasi Pearson dan uji linear berganda, uji simultan (uji F) dan uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara Work Overload (X1), Job Burnout (X2) dan Stres Kerja (X3) terhadap Turnover Intention (Y) karyawan PT Gapura Angkasa Bandar di Udara Internasional Yogyakarta. Hubungan ini dibuktikan melalui uji korelasi pearson dengan nilai signifikan (p) sebesar 0,000 (0,05) pada masing-masing Variabel, serta nilai koefisien korelasi yang sangat kuat yaitu Work Overload ( r = 0,873), Job Burnout (r = 0,900), dan Stres Kerja ( r = 0,915). Uji regresi linear berganda juga dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan ketiga variabel secara simultan, dengan hasil uji F hitung sebesar 214,486 F tabel 2,698 dan signifikansi 0,000 (0,05) yang menunjukan model regresi signifikan secara statistik. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,869 mengindikasikan bahwa 86,9% Variabel Turnover Intention dapat di jelaskan oleh Work Overload, Job Burnout dan Stres Kerja secara bersama-sama. Variabel yang paling dominan adalah stres kerja dengan koefisien regresi tertinggi (0,324) diikuti oleh Work Overload (0,230) dan Job Burnout (0,159).

Abstract

The increasing reliance on smartphones and instant messaging platforms has transformed how information is accessed, especially in public service environments such as airports. This study presents the development and evaluation of a Telegram bot designed to deliver real-time flight information at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, supporting the Silent Airport initiative. Using the Waterfall development model, the bot was built through structured phases including data analysis, interface design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system integrates the AirLabs API and offers users personalized access to arrival, departure, and flight search features. A user experience survey involving 60 participants assessed four indicators using a 5-point Likert scale. The results showed high average scores: usefulness (4.38), ease of use (4.30), user satisfaction (4.30), and user acceptance (4.23). These scores indicate strong user approval, as they approach the maximum value of 5 on the Likert scale. Comparative analysis with traditional Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS) highlights the bot’s strengths in accessibility, personalization, and mobile integration. Despite minor issues with real-time data accuracy, the Telegram bot effectively complements existing airport infrastructure and aligns with evolving digital user behavior. This research supports the potential of instant messaging platforms to enhance public information services within smart airport ecosystems

Abstract

Every air traveler needs to understand the importance of dangerous goods. By understanding the nature and risks of these items, precautions can be taken to prevent accidents and ensure safe travel for all. In practice, numerous passengers have experienced delays at security checkpoints due to carrying prohibited or restricted items such as lighters, sharp tools like scissors, aerosols, and high-capacity power banks. These incidents not only disrupt airport operations but also highlight gaps in public awareness regarding aviation safety regulations.This study aims to examine the influence of knowledge about dangerous goods on flight safety, with a focus on passengers traveling through El-Tari Airport in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. A quantitative research method was employed by distributing 100 structured questionnaires to respondents using purposive sampling, targeting passengers with prior flight experience. Data analysis techniques included simple linear regression, T-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²) to assess the relationship between knowledge levels and safety behavior. The findings show that knowledge about dangerous goods (variable X) significantly influences passenger safety behavior (variable Y), evidenced by a p-value of 0.000. This indicates a strong and positive correlation, where better knowledge leads to more responsible behavior during air travel. The R-square value of 0.530 suggests that 53% of variations in safety behavior can be explained by knowledge, while the remaining 47% may be influenced by other factors such as attitudes, past experiences, signage visibility, and staff communication.These findings underscore the urgent need for intensified public education efforts at airports through visual campaigns, digital information, and pre-flight reminders. Improving passenger knowledge about dangerous goods can significantly enhance overall flight safety and reduce the risk of delays or violations. Future research could explore the role of demographic factors or the effectiveness of current educational strategies.

Abstract

Airside Foreign Object Debris (FOD) management plays a crucial role in ensuring flight safety, given that FOD can cause serious damage to aircraft and threaten the safety of passengers and crew. Mopah Merauke Airport, located in a swampy area with frequent windy weather and prone to flooding, poses a higher risk of FOD accumulation, thus requiring optimal performance from AMC officers. This study aims to determine the performance of AMC officers in handling FOD to ensure safety in the airside area of Mopah Merauke Airport and to identify obstacles and solutions implemented to overcome these obstacles. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources were obtained through in-depth interviews with the Head of the AMC Unit, AMC Supervisor, and Senior AMC, as well as direct observation of FOD handling activities on the apron. Documentation in the form of photographs of FOD found on the apron served as supporting evidence. Data collection techniques used included semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and supporting documentation. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Triangulation of sources and techniques was used to test the credibility of the data. This research was conducted between January and February 2025. The results indicate that the performance of AMC officers in handling FOD has been good, reflected in the disciplined implementation of routine inspections, the use of adequate supporting equipment, a quick response in securing FOD, and the initiative to assist colleagues to ensure the apron is always clean. However, challenges remain, including low awareness among third-party workers regarding cleanliness, environmental conditions that facilitate FOD accumulation, and limited personnel. To address these issues, efforts have been made to optimize patrol schedules, utilize additional equipment, strengthen cross-unit coordination, and request additional personnel to maximize FOD supervision. Thus, FOD handling at Mopah Merauke Airport can be continuously improved to ensure the safety of flight operations.

Abstract

The calculation of weight and balance requires high accuracy so that the flight can be carried out safely to the destination airport. A number of obstacles that load control officers experience can affect the ideality of weight and balance and must be properly calculated. The purpose of this research is to determine the ideal weight and balance of Comac ARJ21-700 aircraft of TransNusa airline at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. This research uses qualitative and quantitative methods using primary data obtained through observation and interviews, secondary data using documentation and literature studies. Data collection techniques used by observation, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with supervisors and senior load control narrow body and junior load control. Data analysis techniques by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are the obstacles of load control officers in calculating the weight and balance of Comac ARJ21-700 aircraft of TransNusa airline, namely the delay of check-in officers in inputting data on the number of passengers and luggage. Determination of the location of passengers and luggage is carried out by check-in officers, if there is a mismatch, the load control officer makes a request to the check-in officer to maximize the front compartment. The average center of gravity of the Comac ARJ21-700 shows at -7.29UP which states that the center of gravity of the Comac ARJ21-700 is -7.29UP.

Abstract

AbstrakPasar penerbangan di Indonesia semakin kompetitif dengan semakin banyaknya maskapai penerbangan komersial yang beroperasi. Bagi konsumen, hal ini menjadi keuntungan karena pilihan maskapai penerbangan yang semakin bervariasi. Sementara bagi maskapai penerbangan, kondisi ini menuntut perusahaan untuk mampu memberikan pengalaman dan pelayanan yang lebih baik guna menjaga loyalitas konsumen agar dapat menguasai pasar. Perusahaan maskapai penerbangan seperti Garuda Indonesia perlu mempertimbangkan pengalaman merek yang dirasakan untuk mempertahankan pelanggannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh langsung pengalaman merek terhadap loyalitas merek dan kualitas pelayanan sebagai pemoderasi untuk menyelesaikan masalah perbedaan hasil studi empiris. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Kuesioner dibagikan secara daring kepada responden penelitian dan terdapat 200 responden yang memberikan jawaban secara lengkap. Alat analisis berupa Structural Equation Modeling Warp Partial Least Square 6.0 (SEM Warp PLS) dipilih untuk menguji model pengukuran (validitas dan reliabilitas) dan model struktural (pengujian hipotesis). Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman merek dapat mendorong peningkatan loyalitas merek sebesar 19%. Selain itu, kualitas pelayanan terbukti dapat bertindak sebagai pemoderasi pada pengaruh pengalaman merek terhadap loyalitas merek.Kata Kunci: Kualitas Pelayanan, Pengalaman Merek, Loyalitas Merek, Maskapai Penerbangan. AbstractThe Effect of Brand Experience on Brand Loyalty on Garuda Indonesia Airline Customers: The aviation market in Indonesia is increasingly competitive with the increasing number of commercial airlines operating. For consumers, this is an advantage because of the increasingly varied choices of airlines. Meanwhile, for the airline, this condition requires the company to provide better experience and service to maintain consumer loyalty to dominate the market. Airlines such as Garuda Indonesia need to consider the brand experience to retain consumers. This study aimed to test the direct effect of brand experience to brand loyalty and service quality as moderation to overcome the problem of differences in the results of empirical studies. The research method used was quantitative. The determination of the research sample used a purposive sampling method. The online questionnaire was distributed directly to the respondents and a number of 200 respondents submitted complete answers. The Structural Equation Modeling Warp Partial Least Square 6.0 (SEM Warp PLS) analysis tool was chosen to test the measurement model (validity and reliability) and the structural model (hypothesis testing). The results of the study showed that brand experience could drive an increase in brand loyalty by 19%. Furthermore, service quality was proven to act as moderation on the effect of brand experience on brand loyalty.Keywords: Service Quality, Brand Experience, Brand Loyalty, Airline.
