Abstract

T The less than optimal performance of jumantik cadres will have an impact on the lack of supervision of mosquito nests and increase cases of DHF (Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever) disease (IR). Data for inactive jumantik cadres were 45 people (61.6%) who were active as many as 28 people (38.4%) Data from Tulang Bawang district noted that in 2021 the Menggala Health Center had the most positive cases and suspected dengue fever, there were 54 positive case findings and 1 case dengue death. This study aims to see the correlation of individual factors on the performance of jumantik cadres in the Working Area of the Menggala Health Center in 2022. This research is an analytical research using a cross sectional approach which has a sample size of 65 jumantik cadres with a quota sampling technique using a questionnaire research instrument and filled in by respondents, bivariate analysis using the chi square test. There is a significant relationship between motivation P value = (0.015), OR = (3.714), satisfaction P value = (0.19), OR = (3.470), attitude P value = (0.023), OR = (3.375) with performance jumantik cadres in the Menggala Health Center working area. The Menggala Health Center office provides training for cadres related to management, implementation, monitoring, and mosquito nests, facilitating cadres in the form of office stationery and equipment to facilitate the performance of jumantik cadres at work.

Abstract

The use of e-Puskesmas is an effort to provide solutions to health service providers, namely Community Health Centers so that they can provide services to patients quickly; reporting activities to the Health Service are also faster due to the Online Reporting system, making it easier for previously manual activities to become digital, and of course save time at work. The E-Puskesmas application in Kota Metro is already running in 11 Community Health Centers. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using the e-Puskesmas application in community health center services in the work area of the Dinas Kesehatan Kota Metro in 2023. This type of research is mixed research, namely qualitative followed by quantitative (mixed method). The population in this study determined the sources/informants using a purposive sampling technique of 20 people. This research was conducted on 6-11 August 2023. Data was collected using questionnaire filling, observation, and interview techniques. The results of qualitative research based on the results of interviews conducted with key informants at 11 Community Health Centers in Kota Metro regarding efficiency indicators in the effectiveness of using the e-Puskesmas application are less effective, this can be seen from the lack of adequate human resources in each Community Health Center which is not by their competence. The results of quantitative research based on the efficiency variable were 14 respondents (87.9%) with negative answers and 6 respondents (12.1%) with positive answers. Variable adequacy: 15 respondents (85.1%) answered negatively, and 5 (14.9%) answered positively. Alignment variable: 12 respondents (87.9%) answered negatively, and 6 (12.1%) answered positively. Responsiveness variable: 12 respondents (87.9%) answered negatively and 8 (12.1%) answered positively. Variable accuracy: 15 respondents (85.1%) answered negatively, and 5 (14.9%) answered positively. Suggestions should be made to first evaluate the puskesmas by related parties, regarding the preparation and availability of the puskesmas to implement the e-puskesmas application

Abstract

Background: Low utilization of ultrasonography (USG) examinations among pregnant women, at only 16.1% during the first antenatal care (ANC) visit and 18.7% during the last ANC visit, may hinder the early detection of pregnancy complications and contribute to the high infant mortality rate (IMR), which reached 34 cases in 2024 in Tulang Bawang Regency. This study aimed to analyze the determinants of USG examination utilization among pregnant women in Tulang Bawang Regency in 2025. Methods: This quantitative analytic study employed a cross-sectional design. From a population of 2,694 pregnant women in Tulang Bawang Regency in 2025, a sample of 267 respondents was selected using stratified random sampling from six primary health centers. Data were collected using questionnaires and secondary data sources. Data analysis included univariate, bivariate (Chi-square), and multivariate analyses using multiple logistic regression. Results: Of the 267 respondents, 141 (52.8%) adhered to ultrasound examinations. Knowledge (p=0.000), attitude (p=0.008), age (p=0.000), service availability (p=0.008), accessibility (p=0.000), and perception (p=0.013) were significantly associated with ultrasound examination adherence, whereas pregnancy risk status was not significantly associated (p=0.643). Age was identified as the dominant factor influencing ultrasound examination adherence (p=0.001; OR=3.660; 95% CI: 1.751–7.650). Conclusions: Ultrasound utilization among pregnant women was primarily influenced by age, accessibility, and knowledge. To improve ultrasound utilization as an innovation to strengthen ANC services, we recommend prioritizing screening among pregnant women aged <20 and >35 years, providing structured ultrasound education, implementing written scheduling systems, tiered reminders, and active follow-up for missed appointments. These efforts should be supported by flexible service hours and improved accessibility through scheduled transportation and mobile ultrasound services, subject to resource availability.
