Abstract

Abstract: The research methodology is a subject that has an essential role in completing the study. Even though students have received this course during the college period, many students still feel confused in determining the research method to complete their thesis, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The School from Home learning system prevents students from meeting face to face and talking directly to the lecturer. So, it is important to innovate where students can ask freely about the problems of both quantitative and qualitative research methods. So, there needs innovative learning to solve it. Authors made an innovation called Tanya Egy, based on a website application for Question and Answer (Q&A) about research methodology problems, both quantitative or qualitative. The Tanya Egy application has been synchronized with SPEDOL (Economic Library Service System and Online Data), owned by the Department of Economic Development FE UM. In this application, there are also many lecturers with econometric expertise and lecturers with expertise in the field of qualitative research methods. As many as 80 percent of students said this feature was beneficial in completing their thesis. Abstract

The development of SMEs is still one of the development priorities in Indonesia. One example is the Dewandaru Batik industry in Malang Regency. The business, which was started in 2017 and is engaged in batik cloth production, carries out the production process manually with limited tools. The price that is determined tends to be very cheap compared to batik marketed through the market and online galleries. Moreover, every month's limited production is the impact of the lack of technology used and little marketing. Marketing and utilization of appropriate technology are still the main obstacles faced; therefore, the solution to this problem is digitizing the marketing mix and proper technology. The method used is identifying problem-solving and assistance for increasing industrial innovation and digital marketing. The result of this activity was an increase in Dewandaru's batik industry's productivity with the help of a batik stamp tool and a dipping tub used for the coloring process. Furthermore, increasing quality makes for a broader marketing market. Batik Dewandaru also experienced improvements in business management because it made simple financial reports on the results of business management training.

Abstract

Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan is one of the thematic villages in Malang City. Antiquity and historical value are the identities of this village. There are still many problems encountered through the development, there are uneven tourist spots on Dorowati Street from the observations made. Thus, it gives rise to the impression of a dualism of proper and inappropriate appearance as a tourism village. Through a service grant, the team provided a solution in the form of rejuvenating Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan through the manufacture of ethnic signposts and information boards for the location of standing points, location markers, and the cable installation above the Sukun River which in the process synergizes with POKDARWIS and the surrounding community to successful rejuvenation process. The results of the rejuvenation process of the Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan area have been carried out well with high contribution and synergy between the team, the community, and POKDARWIS in assisting the implementation of the activities in the installation of 9-point ethnic directions information boards and installation fireplaces above the Sukun River. The team hoped with rejuvenation could increase heritage village to attract more tourists after the pandemic and, in the long term, can provide a multiplier effect for the community around the heritage village.
