Surgical procedures have a risk that the integrity or integrity of the body is disturbed and can even cause a life threat to the patient. One of the most at risk was the occurrence of postoperative hypothermia. In the postoperative recovery room, almost all postoperative patients were hypothermic. Nurses in the postoperative room usually provide blankets to warm patients who are hypothermic. This action was less effective to help patients overcome hypothermia. Giving warm fluids was considered effective to help increase the patient's body temperature. This workshop aims to provide knowledge and training on the administration of intravenous fluid heating elements to increase hypothermic body temperature to nurses in the post-surgical recovery room at the Grandmed hospital Lubuk Pakam. The evaluation of this workshop activity was seen from the knowledge of nurses and nurses' skills. Nurses' knowledge and skills were assessed using a questionnaire sheet and pre and post test observations. The results of the workshop showed that as many as 95% of nurses experienced an increase in knowledge and skills in overcoming hypothermia in postoperative patients. This workshop was expected to be able to overcome the problem of hypothermia in postoperative patients and increase the knowledge and skills of nurses.

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a type of disease that is generally known in society as diabetes. This disease can occur due to an increase in blood sugar levels so that insulin secretion experiences a progressive decrease. Complications of musculoskeletal disorders are one type of DM complication that causes weakness in the leg muscles. Foot exercises are one of the therapies that diabetes mellitus patients can do to overcome foot muscle problems. This foot exercise aims to increase blood circulation so that it can strengthen the leg muscles. If blood circulation is good, nutrition will flow more smoothly to body tissues so that muscle movement is not disturbed. Service activities are carried out through socialization and demonstrations using lectures, discussions and questions and answers. The number of PkM participants who were DM patients was 20 people who were determined using the total sampling method. PkM activities use a pre-test and post-test system with written questions to measure the benefits and increase in knowledge obtained by PkM participants. The results of the service showed that PkM activities through providing foot exercises to DM patients were beneficial in increasing the leg muscle strength of DM patients, where there was an average increase of 1.15 and a p value of 0.000. Apart from that, the level of knowledge of PkM participants regarding foot exercise material for DM patients also experienced an increase in knowledge by 90% or as many as (18 PkM participants) understood the PkM material well.

The quality of nursing services is a value for health services in society. Patients are consumers who always hope to receive good health services. Many incidents may occur if the nurse's workload is too high. To overcome the danger of patients falling, it is necessary to take action to reduce the risk of patients falling. So nurses will always try to prevent patients from falling by installing identification bracelets, triangular labels on patient mattresses, warning signs, adjusting mattress height, and mattress railings. Precautions must also be in accordance with SOP. Nurse workload is the allocation of working time in providing services. The high workload of nurses occurs due to the limited number of staff and uncertain job descriptions. This outreach activity will provide knowledge and courage to communicate about workload so that we can prevent the risk of patient falls. PkM activities were socialized using lecture, question and answer and discussion methods to PkM participants, namely 15 nursing staff. To measure changes in PkM participants' knowledge, pre and post-tests were given to participants. The PkM results show that PkM participants have experienced increased knowledge in preventing the risk of patient falls. Participants also have the courage to discuss with the leadership if the workload is too heavy so that they can get the best solution. Participants also become more diligent in processing their daily work.

Stroke is a disease that can cause disability in the body. As many as 30% of stroke sufferers become permanently disabled. Stroke occurs when blood vessels in the brain fail to provide oxygen to brain cells. If brain cells do not have enough oxygen, then brain cells become damaged. The pre-experimental research design uses a one group pre-post test research design where the experimental group first assesses their muscle strength, then is given treatment and measured again. The sample was determined using Accidental Sampling, namely by chance with a sample size of 21 patients. Before being given Passive ROM, muscle strength was paralyzed in 3 respondents (14.3%), weakness in 8 respondents (38.1%), and moderate weakness in 10 respondents (47.6%). After being given passive ROM, there was an increase in muscle strength in value 1 for 3 people (14.3%), value 2 for 8 people (38.1%), and value 3 for 10 people (47.6%). Based on data analysis, a significant value of 0.00 (? 0.05) was obtained, which means that there was an influence before and after being given passive ROM on the muscle strength of stroke patients at Grandmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital in 2023.

Sectio Caesarea is a surgical process with the aim of removing the fetus through an incision in the abdominal wall which is connected to the autonomic nervous system, so that bowel movements become slow and cause problems. Caesarean section deliveries are increasingly being performed and their success is high, although they are still considered the last solution. Cesarean section operations are common for mothers who are about to give birth. So that post-operative intestinal peristalsis can return immediately, mobilization is necessary. If there is no mobilization, the motility function of the intestines and bladder will take a long time to return to normal so that the mother will have difficulty defecating. This research aims to measure how much mobilization increases intestinal peristalsis in post-caesarean section surgery patients. The research is quantitative research with a One Group pre-post test design. The sample consisted of 25 post-cesarean section mothers with primigravida births. The instruments used are SOP sheets and observations. Data analysis using the Paired T-test with an error of 0.05 showed that the average intestinal peristalsis before the intervention was 7.20 while after the intervention it was 8.04. The results of the Paired T-test show that the p-value is 0.000, which means that there is an effect of mobilization on increasing intestinal peristalsis in post caesarean section patients at GrandMed Lubuk Pakam Hospital. It is recommended that you always implement post caesarean section mobilization measures in accordance with the SOP.
