Abstract

The idea of eliminating war content in Islamic history is one response to the symptoms of religious attitudes, which tend to be exclusive. Religious attitudes correlate with a person's level of historical mastery, because history has a strategic function; in addition to providing information on the past, it can also construct emotions, allowing students to take sides to support or reject one of the parts. This study aims to see how the content of Islamic history education contains an ideological cleavage between modernist-traditionalists, which correlates with students' religious attitudes. Research using a descriptive qualitative approach through construction analysis methods and content analysis, namely, analysis models used to reveal, understand, and capture a text or discourse's message. The object being studied is the SKI material for class XII Madrasah Aliyah, as stipulated in the Decree of the Director-General of Islamic Education No. 2676 of 2013. This study's findings indicate that the class XII SKI material displays opposing ideological features between Modernist and Traditional Islam within Muslims' sociological structure in Indonesia. Students' religious attitudes have the potential to be dichotomous and affiliated in one part. Even though the object of the objective seems to content objective students' mastery of comprehensive, critical knowledge and has an objective comparative analysis. The effect of exclusivity can still occur if there is a shift in the substance of education from scientific objectivity to the hegemony of power.

Abstract

Until today, pondok pesantren has special potential in various aspects to be developed, especially in economics. This study aims to classify the type and the potential of pondok pesantren in Banyumas regency. This study is a qualitative study with a descriptive-inferential method. The amount of 24 pondok pesantren has been learned. The data has been collected by observation, interview, and document review in 2019. The result showed that pondok pesantren in Banyumas Regency established in many types. Pondok pesantren salaf has higher economic potential than pondok pesantren khalafi and the convergence pesantren. Some of pondok pesantren salaf that need to be improved in entrepreneurship are Pondok Pesantren Al-Anwar Sumpiuh and Pondok Pesantren An-Najah. Pondok Pesantren Anwaarul Hidayah (Baturraden) and Pondok Pesantren An-Nur (Kedungbanteng) have agriculture potential. Pondok Pesantren An-Nur (Kedungbanteng) and Pondok Pesantren Mambaul Hikmah (Kembaran) need to be improved in fisheries business while Pondok Pesantren Al-Falah (Rawalo) and Nuururohman (Kemranjen) need to be improved in livestock. The other pesantren, Pondok Pesantren Roudhotut Tholibin (Kemranjen), Madrasah Wathoniyah Islamiyah (Kemranjen), and at-Taujieh have technological potential in computer and publishing.

Abstract

Hijrah usury is becoming a trend among urban Muslims. Da'wah is an invitation to goodness and hijrah means transformation or reform in goodness. Hijrah usury is based on normative religious arguments, it should also lead to goodness, both for the perpetrators and for others. The financial industry has dominated the business sector. In Islamic teachings, usury is haram, but not all scholars agree that every bank interest must be usury. This research aims to explore the relationship between the phenomenon of hijrah from usury and contemporary da'wah. This research focuses on the hijrah community in the city of Purwokerto, including: the Riba-Free Society (MTR), the Riba-Free Camp (CBR), and the Kekar ​​Foundation (Anti-Riba Economic Community) Purwokerto. The method used is in-depth interviews with community actors. One of the things to be explored is the argument and experience in using bank credit funds to run a business. The results found that usury hijrah was mostly based on the frustration of business failure. But relevant to the spirit of being better, it encourages the perpetrators to become more religious, live simply and have high solidarity.

Abstract

This research focuses on the ethnic-based da'wah model of the Chinese Muslim community who is members of the Indonesian Chinese Islamic Association (PITI) Banyumas in promoting religious moderation. The Banyumas Chinese Muslim community chooses the middle path and contributes to religious moderation through various da'wah activities. This research method uses documentation, interviews, and observations. The results of this study describe an ethnic-based da'wah model through structural and cultural da'wah movements. The da'wah developed promotes a moderate attitude with a socio-economic and socio-cultural approach. Ethnic Chinese who have recently embraced Islam (mualaf) receive training in economic empowerment. The Chinese Muslim community also embodies tolerance in an open attitude towards non-Muslim Chinese ethnicities and various other religious groups. An example of public openness is their acceptance of the Cap Go Meh culture and the lion dance tradition. A moderate attitude is shown by neutrality that is not extreme right and extreme left on the choice of religious schools of thought. PITI places people in the center of society's varieties. Da'wah facilities employ the mosque as a venue for preaching and religious education based on social interaction. Chinese Muslims' preaching through an open, reasonable, and community engagement has been well received by the general public.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of the bai` al-inah contract with kafalah-ijarah in the issuance of Islamic credit cards. These two types of contracts are used in two different countries, namely Malaysia and Indonesia, with very different performance achievements in Islamic banking in the two countries. The method used in this study is comparative analysis. Source of data is literature literature. The discussion is carried out with a legal and benefits approach. The results show that the bai` al-inah contract, materially, receives a lot of rejection, although not in absolute terms. But there are loopholes other than a few Ulama who allow it, namely the type of bai` al-wafa` with the involvement of a third party. However, the contract between the two in sharia credit card transactions is not the only factor. Islamic financial performance is more determined by customer behavior.

Abstract

Child development, symbols and duties has not been widely understood, even though education is based on the child's developmental level will be quickly brought to success.This study aims to unravel the concept of a golden age, urgency and handling in Islamic educational perspective. The method used in this paper is the study of literature (theoretical studies), equipped with field observations.The results showed that the golden age in the perspective of Islamic education is the future of nature, where the child has not been contaminated by lust, pre puberty, and age under 13 years, as the hadith of the Prophet, who ordered the hit children when not working on prayer. Good handling is in line with the rights and obligations of the child. Learning methods that stimulate kekiuatan tep is analytical, systematic and rationality.

Abstract

Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) Raudhatul Aflah Desa Pecabean Kecamatan Pangkah Kabupaten Tegal merupakan lembaga pendidikan keagamaan (Islam) yang dikelola secara mandiri oleh kelompok masyarakat. Lembaga ini dikelola secara swadaya dengan mengandalkan partisipasi masyarakat. Meski terdapat bantuan dari pemerintah, namun belum cukup layak untuk pengelolaan lembaga secara mandiri. Kondisi ini menyebabkan pengelolaan lembaga hanya berkutat pada aktivitas (rutinitas) pembelajaran. Sementara unsur pendukung strategis lainnya, seperti persoalan pengelolaan kemandirian lembaga dan tertib administrasi, pengembangan bakat dan minat santri, hubungan masyarakat dan jejaring dengan sumber daya belajar lainnya kurang tergarap dengan baik. Metode yang diterapkan melalui langkah-langkah pengembangan sumber daya manusia, manajemen mutu lembaga dan bakat dan minat. Sasaran pengembangan ini diperuntukkan bagi tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, orang tua dan santri. Tujuan pendekatan ini untuk berbagi pengalaman terhadap pengelolaan yang selama ini dijalankan. Fokus pendampingan pengelolaan kemandirian lembaga dan tertib administrasi, pengembangan bakat minat santri dan pola hubungan madrasah dengan orang tua santri

Abstract

Islamic law’s attention to people with mental disabilities has not been well formulated. This is due to the complexity of the discourse and development of mental disabilities today while the concept of disability formulated by previous scholars is still very simple. The question is, how is the formulation of Islamic law friendly to people with mental disabilities today? A fresh formulation is needed to accommodate those with mental disabilities. Two ushūlī concepts, namely the concept of Ahliyyah and the concept of Maslahah, can be the framework and method of istinbāth in determining the rules of Islamic law for persons with mental disabilities. They must be viewed in terms of capability (ahliyyah) so as not to deprive them of their rights as human beings, but these rights must also not exceed the limits that are contrary to maslahah, so assistance and support are needed in making decisions in Islamic law for them. Perhatian bagi penyandang disabilitas mental ini terabaikan dibandingkan kelompok penyandang disabilitas fisik. Hukum Islam bagi penyandang disabilitas fisik sudah terumuskan dengan baik namun tidak demikian dengan hukum bagi disabilitas mental. Hal ini dikarenakan kompleksitas diskursus dan perkembangan disabilitas mental masa kini sementara konsep disabilitas yang dirumuskan oleh para ulama terdahulu masih sangat sederhana. Pertanyaannya adalah, bagaimana rumusan hukum Islam yang ramah bagi para penyandang disabilitas mental saat ini? Perlu rumusan segar agar dapat mengakomodir mereka yang mengalami disabilitas mental. Dua konsep ushūlī yakni konsep Ahliyyah serta konsep Maslahah dapat menjadi kerangka besar dan metode istinbāth dalam menentukan aturan-aturan hukum Islam bagi penyandang disabilitas mental. Hasilnya mereka harus dipandang dari sisi kecakapan (ahliyyah) supaya tidak menghilangkan hak mereka sebagai manusia, akan tetapi hak tersebut juga tidak boleh melampaui batas yang justru bertentangan dengan maslahah, maka dibutuhkan pendampingan dan dukungan dalam pengambilan keputusan dalam hukum Islam bagi mereka.
