Poverty is generally caused by the powerlessness of a person at working age, as well as the difficulty of getting a job or termination of employment due to the economic crisis that results in unemployment. Positive and negative impacts seem to be increasingly difficult to avoid in development, so efforts are needed to further develop the positive impacts of development and reduce and anticipate the negative impacts. Homeless beggars are one of the negative impacts of development, especially urban development. Homeless urban beggars are a phenomenon that is starting to be seen as a serious problem, especially with the increasing number of social problems. The problem of homeless beggars is a social phenomenon that cannot be avoided, especially in the city of Medan. The social service is an element of government implementation that is authorized in activities in the social sector. The Social Service carries out the functions of administering government affairs and public services in the fields of social rehabilitation and social protection guarantees, social empowerment and handling the poor. With so many homeless and beggars circulating in the city of Medan, the role of the Social Service is very much needed in overcoming this problem. This study aims to find out how the role of social services in handling homeless and beggars (sprawl) in Medan City. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive method to describe and explain the role of the Social Service in handling homeless people and beggars in the city of Medan.

Employees are expected to be more proactive in finding new ways to improve business efficiency and effectiveness. When an organization reduces the number of employees, it becomes more dependent on the existing employees to do something than what is assigned to them. The sources of data used come from two sources, namely primary data and secondary data. The data collection method used is through interviews and documents. Interviews were conducted in depth so that the information obtained was more detailed than the experience of the reporter. The results of determining the correlation coefficient above indicate that the performance of workers on work efficiency is 67.40% while 32.60% is influenced by other factors. The quality of work has a major impact on the performance of the Regional Office staff of the Ministry of Religion of North Sumatra. And there is a significant influence between performance and effectiveness at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of North Sumatra together, and the results seem to indicate that the value of these two factors greatly affects employee performance.

Supervision of the budget is part of the main duties of the members of the council who act as representatives of the people, therefore all revenues from the people that are intended for development must be monitored so that there is no fraud. This study aims to analyze the role of DPRD in carrying out their duties in the supervisory function of the implementation of the North Sumatra Province APBD and to find out how the stages and procedures for budgeting and accountability reports are. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive research method with a study of literature related to the topic of this research. The results of the study found that in the implementation of budget oversight there were still some notes and corrections to members of the DPRD of North Sumatra Province, including being less effective in coordinating and communicating supervision of their members, and unable to direct their wishes to the APBD proposal according to regional content when obtaining information from community leaders. . But from the other side there is good news that there is an increase in the performance results achieved. The supervision carried out on the budget consists of supervision during the preparation process, implementation to the accountability report stage.

MSMEs are the informal sector which contributes greatly to the nation's economy. And the village government is the government that is closest to the community and is directly related to MSME problems. So that the performance of the village government in dealing with MSMEs is an interesting topic to study. This study aims to identify and analyze the performance of the village government in improving the welfare of MSME actors in Laut Dendang Village. The analysis was carried out using qualitative methods. Data were obtained through exclusive interviews, direct field observations and documentation. Data analysis was done by triangulation method. The results of the study indicate that the performance of the village government as measured by using five indicators namely productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility, and overall accountability has been carried out well. However, what needs to be emphasized is the productivity aspect which has not shown significant results but still shows positive developments.

The pandemic situation causes uncertainty in various lines of life, including the economic and transportation sectors, including PT. Jasa Marga Belmera branch. With the policy that the government has set through Large-Scale Social Restrictions or the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities, it causes a decrease in community mobility in traveling so that toll road users decrease sharply. Therefore, this study aims to determine the impact caused by the covid-19 pandemic on the traffic volume and income received by the company, and how the strategy carried out by PT. Jasa Marga in dealing with problems related to this matter. The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach. With data obtained through observation, documentation and interviews with staff or employees who work at PT. Jasa Marga Belmera branch. The results showed that the pandemic caused a decrease in vehicle volume by 12.12% and a decrease in income by 8.82%. The strategies used are cost reduction analysis, differentiation analysis and focus analysis. This strategy is carried out so that the company continues to run effectively and efficiently even in a pandemic like now.

Human resources as one of the factors that play an important role in the success or failure of the organization in achieving its goals. Ensure that every organization always wants to move forward with the participation of its members to improve the quality of its performance, including that every organization has a work ethic. A person's attitude towards work that is practiced from business ethics is a view. The work ethic of a person or employee is a source of motivation for his actions. The purpose of this research is to analyze the work ethic of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of North Sumatra. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative. Overall, the descriptive statistics analysis of the results shows that in general the work ethic of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of North Sumatra fulfills the mandate of providing services to the community in accordance with the applicable regulations.

One of the pillars of the national economy is supported by the presence of MSMEs. So that the efforts made by the government in the process of empowering MSMEs are always interesting topics to be reviewed. The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze the empowerment of MSMEs in Laut Dendang Village and what assistance was obtained by MSME actors as a form of empowerment carried out by the government. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with triangulation analysis method through interview and observation. The results of the analysis show that the success of empowerment is conceptualized with five indicators. The three indicators, namely financial assistance, infrastructure to facilitate marketing results and training, have been realized quite well by the government. However, two other indicators deserve the government's attention on the aspects of facilities and infrastructure supporting business activities and strengthening community institutions. This is because the facilities and infrastructure that support business activities are one of the important factors that can support the performance and productivity of business actors. And institutional strengthening can open up opportunities to bridge MSME actors with various other government institutions and private parties to provide training and business development.

This study was conducted to determine whether the service quality of the Laut Dendang Village office has an effect on the satisfaction level of the Laut Dendang Village community. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive analysis researcher, where the object of research is the village office of Laut Dendang, the population is the surrounding community and the sample is people who already have ID cards, the data collection technique is through a questionnaire to the respondents. Data analysis in this study used correlation coefficient analysis, reliability test, validity test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, hypothesis testing and also hypothesis testing using SPSS application. The results showed that the level of service quality had a positive effect on the satisfaction of the people of Laut Dendang Village.

Cash is the most liquid asset and prone to theft or fraud, so a good cash receipts and disbursement accounting information system is needed so that the company's financial reports can be trusted. . Therefore, every company must develop an accounting information system for cash receipts and disbursements so that the company does not lag behind which will cause losses for the company itself. This study aims to determine the implementation of the cash receipts and disbursement accounting information system at the National Amil Zakat Board of North Sumatra Province and to determine the problems in implementing the cash receipts and disbursement accounting information system. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The type of data used in this study is a type of qualitative data, with data collection techniques carried out using documentation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the application of the cash receipts and disbursement accounting information system carried out at the Amil Zakat Board of North Sumatra Province has been able to support daily operational activities. The problems in implementing the cash receipts and disbursement accounting information system at the National Amil Zakat Agency for North Sumatra Province, namely; Inadequate components of the accounting information system, such as documents related to cash receipts and disbursements, cash receipts and cash disbursement accounting information systems that are not yet fully computerized and there is still a merger of treasurer and finance functions.

Bank Syariah Indonesia Gold Installment products, are in great demand by Bank Syariah Indonesia customers, including those in Kabanjahe, Karo-North Sumatra. This study examines the practice of investing in gold installments that have been regulated in Law No. 21 of 2008 and legitimized by the DSN fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council No. 77/DSN/MUI/VI/2020, whose legality is still being debated in Islamic law. The type of research used is field qualitative with a statutory approach and a case approach. The study results show that applying gold installment investments at BSI Kabanjahe complies with the provisions stipulated in Law No. 21 of 2008 concerning Islamic banking. Buying and selling gold in cash, either through ordinary buying and selling or buying and selling murabaha in the perspective of the DSN MUI fatwa Number 77 of 2010, is legally permissible (mubah or ja'iz). Then the solution to the obstacles in implementing gold installment investments at Bank Syariah Indonesia Kabanjahe Branch is to increase promotion and understanding to the public about gold investment products and discipline customers who are disobedient in paying by giving warning letters.
