Abstract

This study aims to: 1) find out the methods used in learning Nahwu and Sharaf Sciences at the Darularafah Raya Islamic Boarding School, 2) find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in learning Nahwu and Sharaf Sciences at the Darularafah Raya Islamic Boarding School, 3) Efforts made to overcome obstacles in the study of Nahwu and Sharaf Sciences at the Darularafah Raya Islamic Boarding School. This research is a qualitative research. In this study, the data collection techniques used are; observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that: 1) The Nahwu and Sharaf learning methods applied by the Darularafah Raya Islamic Boarding School in the teaching and learning process were quite good, this could be seen from the teacher's efforts in improving the learning methods used. 2) In this case the teacher uses two kinds of methods, namely deductive and inductive in Nahwu lessons and memorization methods in Sharaf lessons. 3) In a learning process there will definitely be factors that support and factors that hinder a learning process. The factors in question are divided into two, namely internal factors and external factors. 4) Regarding the efforts taken by the teacher in overcoming the inhibiting factors experienced by students in learning nahwu and sharaf at the Darularafah Raya Islamic Boarding School as follows; provide motivation to students, fix the learning system both in terms of objectives, methods, media, strategies used in the learning process, always provide opportunities for students to improve their understanding of the science of nahwu sharaf.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of student activity in science lessons. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing Cooperative Learning Type Team Game Tournament (TGT) on Student Activity in Science Learning Class IV. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The data collection technique uses a non-test with an observation sheet research instrument to measure student activity. Instrument validation is carried out with expert validation. To test the research hypothesis, the researcher used the Independent T-Test. The results of the study showed that the sig value (0.000) <a (0.05) which means that there is an effect of cooperative learning type Team Game Tournament (TGT) on student activity. It can be concluded that implementing a cooperative learning type Team Game Tournament (TGT) affects student learning activity.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning motivation of students in taking the science subject at SD Negeri 5 Palu. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the use of concrete objects as media on the learning motivation of sixth grade students. Concrete objects as media were chosen because they are able to provide a more realistic learning experience, facilitate the understanding of abstract concepts, and encourage active student involvement in learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method, involving two groups of students: the experimental group using concrete objects as media and the control group using conventional methods. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing a validated learning motivation questionnaire. The results of the statistical analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the learning motivation of students in the experimental group and the control group. This finding indicates that concrete objects have a positive influence on student learning motivation in science subjects. Therefore, the use of learning media that are real and contextual is highly recommended to improve the quality of learning and optimally encourage student learning interest.
