Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan matematika realistik terhadap prestasi belajar matematika dan sikap bersahabat di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimental dengan desain Nonequivalent (Pretest-Posttest) Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD sebanyak 42 siswa yang terbagi menjadi 20 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 22 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Penentuan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan instrumen prestasi belajar siswa melalui pretest dan posttest sedangkan instrumen sikap bersahabat didapatkan dengan angket menggunakan skala Likert. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t pihak kanan, dimana t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh antara pendekatan matematika realistik terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan t-hitung = 3,399 ≥ t-tabel = 1,684; (2) terdapat pengaruh antara pendekatan matematika realistik terhadap sikap bersahabat siswa dengan t-hitung = 2,160 ≥ t-tabel = 1,684.Abstract: This research aimed to find out the effect of realistic mathematics approach towards the students' learning achievement and friendly behavior on the fourth grade of Elementary School. This was a quasi-experimental research with Nonequivalent (pre-test and post-test) Control Group Design. The samples of this research were 42 fourth graders of Elementary School taken from two classes consisting of 20 students of the experiment class and 22 students of the control. The data of students'learning achievement were collected using pre-test and post-test, while the data of students' friendly behavior were collected using a questionnaire of Likert scale. To test the hypothesis of this study using the right t-test, where t-count was bigger than t-table so Ho will be rejected and Ha will be accepted. The results showed that: (1) there was an effect between realistic mathematics approach and the students' learning achievement with t-count = 3.399 ≥ t-table = 1.684; (2) there was an effect between realistic mathematics approach and students' friendly behavior with t-count = 2.160 ≥ t-table = 1.684.

Abstract

Face-to-face learning (PTM) in Banyumas Regency, Central Java, started Wednesday (1/9/2021).  This follows the decline in the status of the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) from level 4 to 3. The Head of the Banyumas Education Authorities, Irawati, said that for the early stage, PTM would be tested in 54 schools.  "According to the governor's circular letter, limited PTM may be started". Elementary schools will carry out PTM starting Monday, October 4, 2021 after previously there was a coordination meeting between the principal and the Head of the Elementary School Curriculum regarding the preparation of PTM. This study aims to find out; 1) teacher and student responses  on the implementation of face-to-face learning 2) PTM implementation 3) PTM constraints and solutions This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The data collection process uses interviews and documentation. The informants of this research are teachers and students at SD Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The results of the study;  1) Teachers and students responded well to the implementation of PTM; 2) The implementation of PTM during the Covid 19 Pandemic in Elementary Schools was in accordance with the Limited PTM SOP; 3) Obstacles faced in the implementation of PTM were external constraints in the form of increasingly loose health protocols in the community  , while internal constraints in the form of limited facilities and staff providing  lead to less than optimal implementation of health protocols.  In addition, the attendance capacity of students in class is limited to 50% and learning starts at 07.00-09.00 for 50% of the first class and 09.30-11.30 for 50% of the second class.  PTM with strict health protocols causes the learning process and learning outcomes to be less than optimal.  The principal as a leader in the school in dealing with external and internal problems always coordinates with related parties so that PTM running properly and expeditely. Keywords: Teacher's Response; Student Response; PTM

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the APIK learning model, which integrates appreciative, progressive, integrative, and diversity-oriented principles, based on the local musical tradition of kenthongan thek-thek, on strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile character of elementary school students. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design supported by qualitative data from observation and interviews. The participants were 60 fourth-grade students at SD Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, consisting of 30 students in the experimental group and 30 students in the control group. The experimental group received eight learning sessions using the APIK model based on kenthongan thek-thek, while the control group received conventional instruction. Data were collected using a validated Pancasila Student Profile character questionnaire, behavioral observation sheets, and semi-structured interviews. Quantitative data were analyzed using paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test, while qualitative data were analyzed thematically. The results showed that the experimental group increased from 68.4 to 85.2 with a significant difference, whereas the control group increased from 67.9 to 71.3 without a significant difference. The posttest comparison also showed a significant difference between groups. The qualitative findings confirmed that collective kenthongan thek-thek activities strengthened cooperation, tolerance, cultural appreciation, and creativity. The APIK model based on local culture is effective for strengthening character education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian; 1) Mengetahui bentuk pengembangan LKPD materi pengolahan data menggunakan  model  Project   Based  Learning, 2) Mengetahui validasi pakar terhadap kelayakan LKPD,3) Mengetahui respon guru terhadap pengembangan LKPD, 4) Mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap pengembangan LKPD. Metode penelitian mengacu pada model 4-D Thiagarajan, Semmel dan Semmel. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 2 Karang Sentul sebanyak 25 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan tujuan uji terbatas pada 25 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket validasi ahli, angket respon guru, dan angket respon peserta didik.Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian berupa LKPD yang telah diuji cobakan menggunakan uji coba terbatas pada kelas V SD Negeri 2 Karangsentul. Hasil validasi LKPD mendapatkan kriteria “valid” (3,88), hasil respon guru terhadap penggunaan LKPD mendapatkan kriteria “sangat baik” (4,2), hasil respon peserta didik  mendapatkan kriteria “sangat baik” (3,66). Sehingga  disimpulkan LKPD Matematika materi pengolahan data  melalui  kegiatan  menghitung  kebutuhan  sehari-hari  dengan  menggunakan  model project  based learning layak digunakan  dalam proses pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

This mixed-methods (quantitative and qualitative) study aims to gain in-depth insight into the learning difficulties faced by fourth-grade students in mathematical sentences and calculations at SD Negeri 3 Kutasari. The subjects were 20 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Kutasari. Data collection techniques included essay tests, observations, and interviews. Data analysis employed descriptive statistical analysis and qualitative data description. Data were obtained through interviews with five low-skilled students to describe the students' difficulties faced in mathematical sentences and calculations. The study found that students made 23.47% errors in reading and understanding questions, 20.40% errors in transformation, 21.43% errors in calculation, 12.24% errors in process skills, and 22.44% errors in conclusions. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that students experience learning difficulties in mathematical sentences and calculations. The results of this study can be used as information for teachers in addressing mathematics learning difficulties in the core material of mathematical sentences and calculations. They can also be used as a basis for research on mathematics learning difficulties in different mathematical materials.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian mixed methods (kuantitatif dan kualitatif) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara mendalam mengenai kesulitan belajar peserta didik pada materi pokok kalimat matematika dan perhitungan di kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Kutasari. Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Kutasari yang berjumlah 20 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa soal tes uraian, observasi dan wawancara peserta didik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan deskripsi data kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui  wawancara kepada 5 orang peseta didik dengan kategori rendah untuk mendekripsikan kesulitan peserta didik pada materi pokok kalimat matematika dan perhitungan. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan kesalahan peserta didik dalam membaca dan mamahami soal (23,47%), kesalahan transformasi (20,40%), kesalahan perhitungan (21,43%), kesalahan keterampilan proses (12,24%) serta kesalahan kesimpulan (22,44%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat kesulitan belajar peserta didik pada materi pokok kalimat matematika dan perhitungan. Hasil peneltian ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan informasi bagi guru dalam menangani kesulitan belajar matematika materi pokok kalimat matematika dan perhitungan, juga dapat digunakan sebagai dasar penelitian kesulitan belajar matematika pada materi matematika yang berbeda.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low attitude of mutual cooperation and learning achievement of students in learning mathematics. This condition encourages an effort to improve both aspects through the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model with the help of geoboard media. This study used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which was carried out in two cycles, with a subject of 35 third grade students at SD Negeri 2 Bojong. The instruments used include tests, questionnaires, observations, interviews, and other complementary documents. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning model type student teams achievment division STAD assisted by Geoboard media was able to improve the mutual cooperation attitude and learning achievement of students. The increase in mutual cooperation attitude can be seen from the results of observations and questionnaires in cycle I which are still in the sufficient category (average observation 2.42; questionnaire 65.30), then increased to a very good category in cycle II (average observation 3.27; questionnaire 80.29). Meanwhile, students' learning achievement also increased from an average score of 56.36 with 57.57% completeness in cycle I (sufficient category), to 80.14 with 82.35% completeness in cycle II (very good category). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model combined with geoboard media is effective in improving students' mutual cooperation attitude.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya sikap gotong royong dan prestasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika. Kondisi tersebut mendorong dilakukannya sebuah upaya untuk meningkatkan kedua aspek tersebut melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan bantuan media geoboard. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan subjek sebanyak 35 peserta didik kelas III di SD Negeri 2 Bojong. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes, angket, observasi, wawancara, serta dokumen pelengkap lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan modelpembelajaran kooperatif tipe student teams achievment division STAD berbantuan media Geoboard mampu meningkatkan sikap gotong royong dan prestasi belajar peserta didik. Peningkatan sikap gotong royong terlihat dari hasil observasi dan angket pada siklus I yang masih berada pada kategori cukup (observasi rata-rata 2,42; angket 65,30), kemudian meningkat menjadi kategori sangat baik pada siklus II (observasi rata-rata 3,27; angket 80,29). Sementara itu, prestasi belajar peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan dari rata-rata nilai 56,36 dengan ketuntasan 57,57% pada siklus I (kategori cukup), menjadi 80,14 dengan ketuntasan 82,35% pada siklus II (kategori sangat baik). Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yang dipadukan dengan media Geoboard efektif dalam meningkatkan sikap gotong royong dan prestasi belajar peserta didik, khususnya dalam materi Unsur-Unsur Bangun Datar di SD Negeri 2 Bojong.
