Abstract

One of the goals of agricultural development is to increase the welfare of farmers, but in fact, there are still many farmers who are not economically prosperous. Increasing the welfare of farmers can be achieved through the success of farming. The achievement of maximum profit is one indicator of the success of the farming business. Batuah Village, which is located in Loa Janan District, is one of the largest producing areas in East Kalimantan. So far, it is not known whether the pepper farming in Batuah Village has reached its maximum profit. This is what encourages researchers to analyze the maximum profit of pepper farming in Batuah Village. The purpose of this study is to determine how much maximum profit that can be received by farmers based on the total costs that have been incurred. Data obtained through interviews with respondents using a questionnaire. The data obtained were then analyzed using multiple linear regression methods. The results showed that the maximum profit that the Berkah Mandiri farmer group could get in Batuah Village was Rp. 9,183,253 / ha achieved at a production rate of 560 kg / ha. So far, farmers have not reached the maximum production and maximum profit because the average farmer's production is 517 kg / ha and the average farmer's profit is Rp. 7,548,229 / ha. Abstract

This research was motivated by the importance of workers harvesting oil palm fruit on productivity. One of the stages of oil palm cultivation is harvesting, which is one of the key determinants of oil palm productivity. Productive labor can be seen from the achievement of targets set by the company or the difference between the results obtained and the task bases that have been determined by the company. This has prompted researchers to analyze the factors that influence the productivity of oil palm harvesting workers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of age, years of service, and level of education on the productivity of harvesters and to calculate the value of labor productivity in oil palm harvesting. In data analysis using descriptive method, where the data obtained from direct interviews with oil palm harvesting employees by asking several questions that have been prepared and will be processed using the SPSS method, respondents were taken as many as 35 respondents from all afdeling using the Slovin formula. The results showed that the labor productivity of oil palm harvesters at PT. WIN is significantly influenced by age and education factors. Meanwhile, tenure does not have a significant effect on labor productivity of harvesters. The productivity of harvesting labor that was achieved was 135 hrs / HOK, having exceeded the company's target of 110 hrs / HOK.

Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the factors of age, years of service, and education on the work productivity of fertilizing employees. Collecting data in this study is by giving questionnaires and interviews to the respondents. The independent variables in this study are Age (X1), Working Period (X2), and Education (X3) and the Bound Variable is Productivity (Y). To determine the effect of independent variables on dependent variables, researchers used the multiple linear regression method. From the t test results indicate that the labor productivity of fertilizing employees at PT. Wira Inova Nusantara was significantly influenced by tenure factors, while age and education did not have a significant effect on labor productivity of fertilizing employees at PT. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of cleric rodenticide, the active ingredient brodifakum 0.05% and the effectiveness of using Tyto alba which is used as a natural enemy/predator of rats. In addition, to find out the costs incurred for controlling the use of cleric poison and the costs incurred for tyto alba in oil palm. This research was conducted at PT. Tritunggal Sentra Buana Saliki Village, Kec. Muara Badak was held for 3 months from September to December 2020.The method used in this study is a strengthened field observation method and secondary data, including company documents and libraries, as well as in-depth discussions with related R&D assistants in the field. The results are then analyzed and evaluated descriptively.Based on the results of this study, controlling rat pests using owls and cleric poison can effectively reduce severe rat attacks to light attacks. Economically, using owl predators can save on the cost of controlling rats, when compared to cleric poison, the costs incurred are certainly much higher because of the cost of poison and the cost of kindergarten wages.
