Abstract

The Purposes of this research are to reveal Rusydi Ahmad Thuaimah’s opinions about Arabic learning curriculum for non Arabic speaker; and to reveal the model of Arabic learning curriculum for non Arabic speaker betwen Rusydi Ahmad Thuaimah’s version and the previous experts. The type of this research is a library research which using the descriptive and analytative methodes by a qualitative approach. The data research are all about curriculum concept, and the elements of curriculum those taken from Rusydi Ahmad Thuaimah’s books by documentation technique. The data Analysis is used content analysis technique by the steps which are recomended by Krippendorff those are: data making, unitizing, sampling, recording/coding, reducing, inferring n interpreting and results writing. The results of this research are Arabic learning curriculum for non Arabic speaker in Rusydi Ahmad Thuaimah’s version is a system under the big school systems which is planed, determined, done, controled and evaluated by school. This system is integrated with sub-systems those are related by each other like goals, content, methode, evaluation and teacher guidlines. The model of Arabic learning curriculum for non Arabic speaker in Rusydi Ahmad Thuaimah’s version is in line with modern curriculum.

لاخفاء إن حسن الخط من أحسن الأوصاف التي يتصف بها الكاتب وأنه يرفع قدره على الناس، ويكون وسيلة لنجاح مقاصده وبلوغ مآربه مع ماينضم الى ذلك من الفوائد التي لاتكاد تحصى كثرة. وقد قال أمير المؤمنين علي كرم الله وجهه: ((الخط الحسن يزيد الحق وضوحا)).الخط العربي سيمة من سيمات حياة إسلامية في دولة فيها مسلمون. فجهود أبناء المسلمين فيها على تعلمه ونشره وحفظه تدل على محبتهم الإسلام. It cannot be denied that the beauty of calligraphy is an excelence correlated to its writer that will raise his/ her ability higher than others. It also become medium for its owner to come to his/ her dreams wich contain unlimited benefit. Amirulmukminin, Ali r.a. said a beautiful calligraphy will make the truth is clearer and more understandable. The existence of Islamic calligraphy is an evidence of Islamic religion life in a country. Therefore, effort from Islamic generation tolearn, teach, and preserve it, is the manifestation of their affection to Islam

Abstract

The Fatimiyyah Dynasty was a vast and advanced country in several fields, especially in the field of architectural art. Founded by the Ismaili Shia sect. The writings of the research are first, wanting to understand concrete forms in the field of architectural art during the Fatimiyyah dynasty. second. want to understand the internal and external factors in the field of architectural arts during the Fatimiyyah dynasty. third, they want to understand the implementation of architectural art during the Fatimiyyah dynasty. The research methodology includes library research from primary data and secondary data relevant to the topics discussed. The results of this study are: first, concrete manifestations of the history of the Islamic civilization of the Fatimiyyah dynasty, namely the buildings of mosques, hotels, luxurious palaces, and forms of ornament and decoration. second, internal factors such as Islamic values contained in art, architectural art is knowledge from the Qur'an, and art cannot be separated from the local culture. External factors, namely the art of architecture, are influenced by the economy, international trade, and advances in science and technology. Third, this architectural art implies that the buildings at the Great Mahdiya Mosque, Al Azhar Mosque, Qarafa Mosque, Al-Hakim Mosque, and Other Cairo Mosques, Cairo Fort, Bab Al Futuh, Bab Al Nasr, and Bab Zuweil then form buildings like many passageways, a central courtyard surrounded by arcades, curly arches, portals, domes, ornate façades and architectural features of East and West.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to understand 3 things: first, the concrete form of the feminist approach. Second, the factors that influence the existence of a feminist approach in Islamic studies. Third, the implications of academic feminist approaches to the dynamics of Islamic studies. The author uses the literature method by using a feminist approach in studying Islam. The results of this study show that first, feminist etymology comes from the word femme (single woman) who fought to fight for the rights of women as a social class. In terminology a women's movement that demands full equality. Second, internal factors include low knowledge and understanding of the community about religious values related to the role and function of women, the reality of Muslim society that still experiences gender bias, as well as the essence of women's bodies.external factors include the number of religious interpreters who harm the position and role of women as well as patriarchal culture that has long dominated in society (political, economic, and biased interpretation of religious texts gender). Third, positive impact: The existence of the term career woman makes women become more independent women, women are not oppressed by the capitalist system, and are productive in doing things outside the domstic. Negative impact: Negative impact (the birth of various lesbian feminism movements or the practice of free sex between women and women), and There are several ideologies of the feminism movement that are not in accordance with Islamic corridors

Abstract

The concept of Ta'dib, pioneered by Al-Attas, serves as a suitable guidance in shaping students' characteristics, encompassing not only morality but also individual development rooted in natural and spiritual values. This study aims to explore the concept of Ta'dib proposed by Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas in the formation of students' character. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review, employing an in-depth philosophical analysis. Primary sources include Al-Attas' books, while secondary sources consist of journal articles, books, and related research materials. Data collection involves gathering Al-Attas' manuscripts, books, and relevant journals, followed by data analysis by scrutinizing the contents of various manuscripts and books to draw conclusive findings. The findings reveal that the integration of earlier principles into character development offers a valuable opportunity to harmonize knowledge acquisition and ethical behavior within students. Consequently, it enables them to contribute to society by performing virtuous acts and exhibiting good conduct, supported by a steadfast foundation of faith.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe in detail about management of arabic language learning in Roudhotul Jannah Islamic Boarding School based on multiple intelligence Howard Gardner perspective. While this type of research is a case study because the researchers analyze and describe in detail about an institution. This study uses type of case study because the researchers emphasize a fact related to the management of multiple intelligence-based on learning in Howard Gardner perspective. The data collection techniques in this study are observation, interview and documentation. Daily activities include linguistic activities and deposit activities including in language intelligence or linguistic intelligence. Arabic language learning at the Roudhotul Jannah Islamic Boarding School includes four language skills, namely reading, writing, listening and speaking. Speaking skills are included in several intelligences, including linguistic intelligence, logical intelligence, and physical intelligence. Writing skills are included in carnal intelligence and linguistic intelligence. Meanwhile, listening skills are included in lingguistic intelligence, musical intelligence and interpersonal intelligence.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence is a technology that is believed to be capable of emulating human intelligence, and one area where its potential is being explored is the use of ChatGPT in the Arabic language education sector. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities of using ChatGPT in Arabic language education as a form of actual educational technology. This study uses the library research method, with primary and secondary data sources obtained from previous literature relevant to the research topic. Data collection was carried out by editing, organizing, and founding techniques. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that ChatGPT has the potential to be a valuable tool for developing Arabic language education, but there are challenges that must be addressed to ensure its effective use by students and teachers and to avoid any negative implications. This research provides insights for the future development of learning technologies, enabling the use of ChatGPT in education to provide maximum benefits for students and teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to test the independent variables consisting of learning interest, learning motivation, and self-awareness of the dependent variable, namely Arabic language learning. The research approach used is quantitative with the PLS 3 SEM method. The data collection method uses questionnaire distribution techniques and sample selection in this study uses a sample quota, namely the number of respondents taken has been determined by the sample size. In this study, the sample used as many as 85 respondents showed the results of: (H1) Accepted, that is, there is a significant influence of student interest in learning Arabic with path coeficient (0.962) and p-value (0.000 < 0.05). (H2) Rejected that is, there is no significant influence of student motivation on Arabic learning with path coeficient (0.011) and p-value (0.699 > 0.05). 3. (H3) Rejected i.e. there is no significant influence of students' self-awareness on Arabic language learning with path coeficient (0.020) and p-value (0.496 > 0.05). while the R-square value is the result of measuring Arabic learning variables (0.949). This value means that the Arabic learning variable is influenced by the independent variable by 94.9%, while the rest is influenced by other factors. While each of the rest is influenced by other factors outside the variables studied. researchers provide recommendations to teachers or schools to carry out special assistance, both subject teachers and counseling guidance in order to strengthen aspects of motivation and self-awareness. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of Arabic language lecturers as academic advisors in the IAIN Kendari students' completion process. Using four faculties as the location for this study, snowball sampling was used to select eight students and nine Arabic lecturers for separate interviews and observations during the consultation process in the 2020/21 academic year. The data analysis phase was conducted using the Miles and Huberman method and the Academic Advisor theory. As academic advisors, the results indicate that Arabic language lecturers play three crucial roles: motivators, initiators, and problem solvers. This research has implications for academic advising policies and on-time student graduation.

Abstract

This research explained the role of seniors in assisting new students at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Bahasa Arab (STIBA) in enhancing their Arabic speaking proficiency. The research methodology employed in this study is qualitative research and case study design. Data are gathered through observations and interviews. The findings of this research indicate that seniors have a significant impact on helping new students to improve their Arabic speaking skills at STIBA Ar-Rayyah. Seniors serve as mentors, peers, and a support system that provides positive encouragement to new students. They offer guidance and support both within the campus dormitories and outside, engaging in various activities where Arabic is the primary communication language. Seniors also motivate and help new students gain confidence in speaking Arabic and overcome learning obstacles. This research underscores the importance of non-academic aspects in the educational institution, such as motivation and emotional support, which can have a positive impact on academic performance and personal development of students. The role of seniors at STIBA Ar-Rayyah fosters a conducive learning environment that aids new students in enhancing their Arabic speaking skills
