Abstract

This study focuses on the understanding of punctuation in short story writing skills with the aim of knowing the improvement of the ability to use punctuation in short story texts using the talking stick method in class IX students of SMPN 27 Tangerang City. The research method used in this study used Classroom Action Research (CAR). CAR makes it easier for educators to conduct research in finding out problems that occur in the classroom and finding solutions to problems found before and during the research. This study was carried out in three stages, namely pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The research instrument in the study was assisted by using an analysis table containing the results of improving students' abilities in each cycle. The data collection techniques used were tests and field notes. The data that had been collected were then reviewed based on the findings of the use of punctuation in each sentence used by students in writing short story texts. The sample in this study was 35 class IX students of SMP Negeri 27 Tangerang City.

Abstract

Obtained are based on the formulation, objectives, results, and discussion in the analysis of cultural values in the novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck by Buya Hamka and Novel Tanah Para Bandit by Tere Liye previously stated, described as follows. The results of the analysis of cultural values in the novel The Sinking of the Van Der Wijck Ship by Buya Hamka and the novel Tanah Para Bandits by tere Liye contain 79 data. The data obtained is divided into cultural values in human relations with God, cultural values in human relations with nature, cultural values in human relations with society, cultural values in human relations with others, and cultural values in human relations with oneself.

Abstract

Errors in writing absorption elements were not found in the thesis of Indonesian Language and Literature Education students Batch 2022. Errors in the use of effective sentences in the thesis of Indonesian Language and Literature Education students Batch 2022 found 123 cases of errors. These errors are caused by excessive sentences/words and improper choice of words/diction. The cause of the occurrence of these errors because of the lack of thoroughness of students when writing thesis. It can be seen that there is a removal of phoneme elements in a word and sentences that are redundant or redundant so that the sentence becomes ineffective

Abstract

The selection of AIM's short story anthology aims to understand and know the aspects of structuralism and moral values. The research design used is descriptive qualitative. The source of the data for this study was the Anthology of the short stories Aim by Kholifatul Fauziah and DPND Class which were then chosen as the object of research because this anthology of short stories contains many elements of literary works and a clear moral message. This research was conducted in several stages, namely: (1) the planning stage, listening and reading carefully the AIM Short Anthology. (2) the implementation stage, collecting data, classifying and analyzing the structural approach in short stories. (3) the reporting stage, involving the writing and publication of the results of this research so that they can be read, known, and used by other people who need them. The results of the research show that the intrinsic structure in structural studies is in the form of themes, plot, characters and characterizations, setting, point of view, style of language, message, and moral values. This structure can be a successful builder of conveying the meaning of the story from the writer to the reader.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran SQ4R terhadap kemampuan membaca puisi pada siswa kelas X SMK Mahakarya Cikupa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif yang berjenis True eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 180 siswa kelas X SMK Mahakarya Cikupa dan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 60 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel mengunakan teknik claster random sampling kepada 60 siswa yang diambil pada kelas X AP 1 kelas kontrol dan kelas X TKJ 2 kelas eksperimen. Intrumen yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah tes lisan, yaitu melakukan test pretest dan posttest pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hal tersebut dilakukan dengan penelitian pada uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan model the separate model T-test yaitu uji-t posttes yang menujukan thitung 3,80 ≥ ttabel 2,00. Hasil uji-t posttest menunjukan adanya pengaruh terhadap kemampuan membaca puisi dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran SQ4R dengan peserta didik yang hanya menggunakan model pembelajaran konverensional. Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran, puisi, SQ4R

Abstract

This study aims to describe how ecological values that emphasize environmental awareness can be incorporated into literature education in schools. This research is qualitative, using an ecocritical and collaborative approach. The results show that literature serves not only to entertain but also to educate and can be used to raise awareness among students by integrating ecological values into literature learning. The application of these values can be observed through the teaching of reading and writing literary works with themes about the current state of nature, the beauty of nature if undisturbed by human activity, how humans can protect the universe, and the consequences of environmental destruction for the survival of humanity and all it encompasses. This application can be implemented by adapting reading and writing materials to literary ecology within the Learning Objectives Flow, which will be developed in the Lesson Plan (RPP). It includes the use of learning resources aligned with the materials in the RPP, employing relevant learning media based on literature-based ecological reading and writing materials, and designing effective teaching methods suited to the material. By incorporating ecological values into literature education in schools, it is hoped that students will gain ecological awareness to contribute to saving the earth from further degradation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk konflik batin serta trauma psikologis yang dialami tokoh utama dalam novel Balerina Berdarah karya Alfida Nurhayati Adiana dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Novel ini mengisahkan kehidupan seorang balerina muda yang hidup dalam tekanan dunia balet profesional yang menuntut kesempurnaan teknik, disiplin tinggi, serta persaingan yang ketat. Tuntutan tersebut menimbulkan konflik internal yang kompleks, terutama pertentangan antara hasrat tokoh untuk memperoleh kebebasan artistik dan aktualisasi diri dengan tuntutan serta ekspektasi lingkungan yang membatasi ruang geraknya. Selain konflik batin, tokoh utama juga mengalami trauma psikologis yang bersumber dari kegagalan di masa lalu, kritik keras yang terus-menerus, serta perlakuan emosional yang bersifat menekan dan merusak kepercayaan diri. Trauma tersebut memengaruhi kondisi psikis tokoh, seperti munculnya kecemasan berlebihan, rasa bersalah, ketakutan akan kegagalan, dan dorongan perfeksionisme yang ekstrem. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis teks sastra terhadap unsur intrinsik novel, meliputi penokohan, alur, latar, dan simbol-simbol psikologis. Analisis data dilakukan melalui pengamatan terhadap perilaku tokoh, respons emosional, dialog, serta penggunaan citra simbolik, khususnya simbol darah yang merepresentasikan penderitaan fisik sekaligus luka batin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tekanan psikologis berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku dan pengambilan keputusan tokoh utama. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa dunia seni pertunjukan tidak hanya menuntut kemampuan fisik dan teknis, tetapi juga menyimpan beban psikologis yang berat dan berpotensi menimbulkan trauma mendalam, sebagaimana digambarkan secara realistis dalam novel tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively describe the psychological dynamics of Natta's character in the novel Rumah Tanpa Cahaya through the framework of Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory. The main focus of the study is to analyze the structural interactions of personality including the Id, Ego, and Superego, and to identify various self defense mechanisms activated by the character due to the internal conflict he experiences. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a literary psychology approach as the main analytical basis for dissecting the hidden inner character. The results of the study indicate that Natta's character's behavior is a form of integrative struggle that demands immediate gratification (Id), rational consideration of painful reality (Ego), and strong moral pressure from the internalization of social norms (Superego). Natta's Id demands the fulfillment of basic needs for security and affection. Meanwhile, the Superego provides moral pressure that triggers disproportionate anxiety. Natta's Ego operates as a mediator that works hard to balance the drives of the Id and the demands of the Superego, which forces the Ego to activate self-defense mechanisms such as repression, rationalization, and especially sublimation. This mechanism serves as a psychic barrier to maintain her mental stability and prevent her from experiencing total collapse due to the accumulation of past trauma. Overall, this novel depicts the complexity of the human psyche in the face of existential crises and unresolved past wounds.

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis merupakan salah satu aspek keterampilan dalam bidang studi Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia.Minat menulis yang dimiliki siswa harus dikembangkan dengan baik agar bisa dijadikan sebuah kemampuan dan keahlian dalam berbahasa. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur mikro dalam analisis wacana kritis pada iklan provider pada tahun 2018 melalui model analisis wacana kritis Teun A. van Dijk pada aspek semantik dan sintaksis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian analisis isi yang diterapkan terhadap sebuah wacana iklan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data dengan cara simak dan catat. Peneliti menyimak rekaman video iklan provider dan mencatat tuturan yang disampaikan di dalam iklan provider. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan simpulan. Tahap reduksi data peneliti menganalisis pada struktur mikro pada iklan provider tahun 2018.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan temuan elemen semantik diantaranya pada elemen latar terdapat 3 temuan, detil sebanyak 1 temuan, maksud terdapat 2 temuan, dan praanggapan sebanyak 2 temuan., pengingkaran 2 temuan, dan kata ganti sebanyak 2 temuan. Kata kunci: wacana kritis, iklan provider
