Abstract

The development and growth of children are much influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic factors, the impact on children's habits which are often even difficult to control. When bad habits are always seen and felt, their response tends to be very fast and has a tremendous effect. This means that their good and bad habits are severed from habits through the visions and feelings that are present in their lives. This article describes strategies for disciplining children from a practical perspective and child psychology. Writing is done by using a library approach and analyzed descriptively so that readers can do it practically based on the psychology of their respective children. The result is that considering the different characteristics of the child according to the child's age, among them are trying to ignore the child when feeling bad, giving a good time guard, trying to get rid of favorite items by heart, trying to let the child face the consequences of their own actions, trying to express your feelings, try to give choices to children, try to give assignments to children, try to give understanding, try to reflect their behavior and try to reward children's good behavior. In addition to some of the things above, to practice discipline, the principles that must be carried out include setting long-term goals of caring for or educating children, thinking of ways to provide warmth (emotional security, unconditional love, verbal and physical affection) to children, guiding behavior and helping support children's expectations and encouraging children to think independently and understand children's thoughts and feelings.

Abstract

The society development which continues to progress in a variety of ways, has lead the society lost control in neutralizing phenomena from inside and outside of their own. This has brought about the effect in which the society is out of the rooted norms, conditions, and customs. The rise of the anarchist event, splits, and a war between the societies makes the way out hard to reach. To that end this paper tries to provide regulation of the life of civil society. Civil society is a civilized society, upholding human values, as well as the society forward in the mastery of science and technology. This regulation even in the context of modern but still based on the norms of the religion norms existing within the indigenous societies.

Abstract

In Southeast Asia, ethnic conflicts are complex phenomena influenced by religious affiliations, nationalism, and citizenship rights. This study examines the role of media in shaping public narratives and perceptions of the Rohingya crisis, particularly in Aceh, Indonesia. Media analysis reveals that coverage provides practical insights into the consequences of refugee influx, highlighting social, humanitarian, and infrastructural impacts. Moreover, media diversifies understanding by presenting varied perspectives and linking ethnic conflicts with broader issues such as human trafficking. The study emphasizes how media narratives influence community attitudes towards Rohingya refugees in Aceh, reflecting shifts in acceptance or rejection based on portrayal. It underscores media's responsibility for accurate, balanced coverage crucial in shaping public understanding. Employing qualitative content analysis of print and online sources from 2023, this research examines media's depiction of the Rohingya conflict and refugee responses in Aceh. Findings contribute insights into media's role in public perception and its impact on refugee acceptance. This study advocates further media analysis to deeper understanding of complex ethnic conflicts, aiming to mitigate stereotypes and foster empathy towards refugees. Encourage balanced and diverse media reporting on ethnic conflicts to foster empathy and informed public dialogue, particularly in communities like Aceh. Support further research and education on the media's role in shaping perceptions to promote effective conflict resolution and humanitarian responses.

Abstract

This research examines the complexity of Rohingya refugee integration in Aceh using a qualitative approach and the social religious phenomenology method. The main focus is on the interaction between international law, local norms, religion, mass media, and the social dynamics that influence refugee reception and integration. Data collection methods include in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, with informants comprising religious leaders, local government officials, Rohingya refugees, and local journalists. Thematic and narrative analyses are employed to identify and interpret relevant themes related to the application of the non-refoulement principle, the role of Islam, the influence of mass media, and the psychological well-being of refugees. The findings reveal the complexity of Rohingya refugee integration in Aceh, shaped by the interplay of international law, local norms, religion, mass media, and social dynamics. Legal pluralism theory highlights a gap between the non-refoulement principle and Aceh's local wisdom. Religious solidarity theory explains the initial drive for refugee acceptance, though collective historical experiences contribute to resistance. Agenda-setting theory uncovers media bias. The study’s limitations suggest the need for further research, particularly through a comparative approach to understand effective strategies for integrating international law with local norms.
