Abstract

The tradition of wedding offerings on Kangean Island, Sumenep, Madura reflects the complex dynamics of gender relations. This study aims to reveal the representation of patriarchy and forms of female resistance in this tradition, as well as its implications for gender education in society. The approach used is feminist ethnography, with data collection methods including participatory observation and in-depth interviews. The research findings indicate that the sawer tradition represents male dominance through economic and symbolic control, yet simultaneously serves as a space for women to employ various resistance strategies, such as forming social networks and managing financial independence. Although controversial for its portrayal of women as objects of entertainment, this tradition also opens opportunities for critical reflection in gender education. This study makes an important contribution to understanding local cultural practices that can be utilized as teaching materials in developing gender awareness in Madurese society.

Abstract

This service is entitled Recruitment and HR performance assessment at the ISM Karya Sinar Bahari Cooperative, Tangul Jaya Village, Banten Subdistrict, Kasemen District, Serang City, Banten Province. This service was carried out on Saturday, August 3 2024, which was attended by 22 students and 1 supervisor at Pamulang University. This Community Service aims to analyze the recruitment process and performance assessment of human resources (HR) at the ISM Karya Sinar Bahari Cooperative, Tanggul Jaya Village, Banten Village, Kasemen District, Serang City, Banten Province. The ISM Karya Sinar Bahari Cooperative is an economic institution that plays an important role in improving the welfare of its members and the surrounding community. However, the main challenge faced is how to recruit quality human resources and carry out performance assessments effectively to ensure the achievement of cooperative goals. This Community Service uses survey methods and direct material delivery as well as simulations and discussions regarding management, financial management and product marketing via WhatsApp Business. This Community Service activity succeeded in providing understanding to ISM Karya Sinar Bahari Cooperative Members regarding Recruitment and performance assessment, Financial Management and Product marketing via business WhatsApp social media. In this way, it is hoped that this cooperative can improve the quality of its human resources and, in turn, strengthen its competitiveness and contribution to the welfare of its members and society.

Abstract

In Indonesia, religious leaders are in a strategic position. Their existence can affect people's lives in various aspects, not least in the context of marriage. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of child marriages in Central Java rose sharply. Based on the background above, the questions are how religious leaders view this problem and what the roles to be performed in the context of prevention and treatment. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique is done by interview and documentation. The informants are administrators of two major religious organizations in Indonesia, namely NU and Muhammadiyah. The results showed that; First, the existence of religious organizations did not have a significant role in preventing and handling child marriage cases in Central Java. Secondly, the existence of religious organizations has no relevance to the high and low rate of child marriage in Central Java. Third, the existence of religious leaders is still seen as having authority in the community to support the success of the prevention and handling of child marriage programs

Abstract

Salah satu jenis udang yang saat ini gencar dibudidayakan adalah udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei). Segmentasi usaha pembenihan mempunyai peranan penting pada sektor budidaya perikanan yang disertai dengan perkembangan unit hatchery yang cenderung semakin meningkat. Kualitas benur merupakan faktor yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan budidaya pada segmentasi pembesaran udang vaname sehingga perlu dilakukan suatu upaya dalam rangka mengatur kegiatan produksi benih udang vaname agar terciptanya benih yang berkualitas dengan keuntungan yang sepadan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui performansi kinerja budidaya dan mengkaji analisis finansial tentang pembenihan udang vaname. Kajian dilakukan dengan metode observatif dan wawancara di PT. Esaputlii Prakarsa Utama selama 59 hari dan dilakukan studi literatur sebagai data sekunder pada isi kajian. Hasil kajian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata produktivitas larva udang vaname 23.160.000 ekor/siklus, FR 95%, HR 94%, dan SR 42%. Dengan hasil analisis finansial biaya investasi Rp 3.022.383.000, biaya penyusutan 232.203.000/tahun, biaya tetap 1.327.203.000/tahun, biaya tidak tetap 563,217,000/tahun, keuntungan 2.231.755.830/tahun, BEP Harga 1.397.055.789 /tahun, BEP unit 28.238.337 ekor/tahun, PP 1,22 Tahun, dan R/C Ratio 6,9.One type of shrimp that is currently intensively cultivated is vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). Hatchery business segmentation has an important role in the aquaculture sector accompanied by the development of hatchery units that tend to increase. The quality of Fry is a factor that greatly influences the success of cultivation in the segmentation of vaname shrimp enlargement so it is necessary to make an effort in order to regulate vaname shrimp seed production activities in order to create quality seeds with commensurate profits. This study was conducted to determine the performance of aquaculture performance, and assess the financial analysis of vaname shrimp hatchery. The study was conducted by observative method and interviews at PT. Esaputlii main initiative for 59 days and conducted a literature study as secondary data on the contents of the study. The results showed that the average productivity of vaname shrimp larvae was 23,160,000 head / cycle, FR 95%, HR 94% and SR 42%. With the results of financial analysis of investment costs Rp 3,022,383,000, depreciation costs 232,203,000 /year, fixed costs 1,327,203,000 /year, non-fixed costs 563,217,000 /year, profit 2,231,755,830 /year, BEP price 1,397,055,789 /year, BEP unit 28,238,337 tail/year, PP 1.22 years and R/C ratio 6.9.

Abstract

Ketersediaan air tanah memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung keberlanjutan pertanian di wilayah pedesaan, terutama pada daerah yang belum memiliki infrastruktur irigasi memadai. Kampung Yamua di Distrik Arso Barat, Kabupaten Keerom, merupakan salah satu kawasan dengan potensi air tanah yang cukup tinggi namun belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi sumber daya air tanah, menganalisis kebutuhan irigasi, serta merancang jaringan irigasi air tanah yang sesuai dengan kondisi teknis dan kebutuhan masyarakat. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup survei lapangan, analisis hidrologi dan geoteknik, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), serta pelatihan bagi masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa debit air tanah sebesar 0,8–1,5 liter/detik dapat mendukung irigasi skala kecil hingga menengah. Desain jaringan irigasi yang dihasilkan meliputi penggunaan pompa submersible, jaringan pipa distribusi, dan reservoir kecil yang dapat dibangun secara bertahap oleh masyarakat. Kegiatan ini meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mengelola sumber daya air dan memberikan dasar teknis bagi pemerintah desa dalam pengembangan infrastruktur irigasi. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan air tanah yang terencana dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian dan ketahanan pangan di Kampung Yamua.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product placement through virtual influencers on the formation of consumer attitudes, including attitudes toward the influencer, attitudes toward the product placement, and attitudes toward the brand. The research employed a post-test experimental design without a control group, involving 279 respondents. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The results indicate that attitudes toward virtual influencers and product placement significantly contribute to the formation of positive brand attitudes, particularly when the content is delivered credibly and aligns with the audience’s values. This study contributes to the understanding of the effectiveness of product placement in shaping consumer attitudes.
