Abstract

This research aims to analyze the contents of the statement about emphasis (tawkīd) on sūrat al-Kahfi, Maryam, and Ṭāha. The used method in this research is a qualitative descriptive method and used a classification table to specify the explanation. Tawkīd is an affirmation language style that useful to emphasize expression and eliminate hesitation. Tawkīd is used for emphasizing certainty and causing it accepted in the listener’s mind and heart. Based on data analysis conducted by the researcher, deduced that on sūrat al-Kahfi, Maryam and Ṭāha found 58 kinds of tawkīd. 55 (95%) were tawkīd lafẓī, and 3 (5%) were tawkīd ma‘nawī. Besides, they found 154 different kinds from the articles of tawkīd which is divided into 8 types. Those were 8 (5%) of lām, and 51 (32%) of innā, and 13 (8%) of annā, and 23 (15%) of qad, and 21 (13%) of sīn or sawfa, and 18 (12%) of lan, and researchers were not found the type lām juḥūd from the kinds of tawkīd articles.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how well the use of information technology-based learning media. The development of information technology is utilized in all aspects of human life, including education. The learning media that will befocused on being developed is Power Point. Power Point is one of the learning media that is already familiar among educators and students, because of its easy and effective use. The method used in this study is a development method based on the ADDIE Model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate) proposed by Dick and Carey, namely research and development carried out in several stages: 1) Analyzing the needs of educators and students 2) Product design, 3) Product development, 4) Product implementation, and 5) Product evaluation. Based on the stages carried out obtained learning media products that are considered feasible and are needed by students after validating and testing the product. The validation of media experts obtained 92%, and material 99%. Meanwhile, based on user ratings obtained by 86%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find the effect of learning strategies (metacognitive and cognitive strategies) and personality (intrinsic and extrinsic personality) on Arabic listening skills. It was experiment research with experimental methods by factorial 2x2 design. It used a 2-way analysis variance design. The process of collecting data used questionnaires, tests, observations, and documentation. The results showed that there was a significant influence on Arabic listening ability with different personality levels. Personality differences in the application of listening learning strategies are closely related. Language learning varies depending on individual characteristics and variations in language learning outcomes associated with student characteristics. Cognitive and metacognitive strategies have a significant influence on the Arabic listening ability with different levels of personality types namely extrovert and introvert. Therefore, it can be concluded that different personalities will influence the level of different listening skills in Arabic. The results of the study recommend that the learning process of listening to Arabic using metacognitive and cognitive strategies can be varied with the concept of group learning and enrichment of vocabulary from the material presented.

Abstract

The research aims to find out the manifestations of gender bias in the indications for the use of domestic products that are frequently used and circulated in the Arab world. It is known that they often use the formulas of orders to address the feminine, especially for products related to food, laundry and spices. This indicates that the Arab Arab society views women as human beings whose jobs are limited to housework only. The research uses the descriptive approach by examining the uses of command formulas in the products circulating in the Arab community. The results of viewing 15 products indicate that 9 of them use the masculine commands, 5 of them use the feminine commands, and one of them uses the infinitive. The commands for the masculine that are obtained are: Empty, Open, Rise, Add, Place, Press, Wash, and be included in Drinks, Hand Wash, Canned Beverages, Booklets, French, Liquid Hand Cleaner, Bathroom Cleaners, Tile Cleaners, Capillaries, and Toys for Children. The feminine commands that are found in the 5 products are: dress up, wear, make sure, fry, and most of them are included in spices, hand washing, laundry, toilet deodorants, cooking oil and cheese. As for the source, to indicate the matter, he uses one product, which is anti-bacterial soap.

Abstract

Penerjemahan itu sendiri merupakan suatu cara pengalih bahasaan untuk mengungkapkan makna, pesan, atau amanat yang terkandung dalam bahasa sumber kedalam bahasa sasaran dengan padanan kata yang memiliki makna serupa sesuai dengan maksud penulisnya agar dapat dipahami oleh pembaca. Dimana pengetahuan penerjemahan ini sangat penting terkhususnya dalam menerjemahkan kitab Matn Zubad yang mana bahasa sumbernya yaitu bahasa Arab dan akan dialih bahasakan ke bahasa target yaitu bahasa Indonesia. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut maka penulis pun melasanakan sebuah kegiatan pelatihan penerjemahan kitab Matn Zubad bagi jamaah majlis taklim Rasyidaturrahmah Cijengkol Bekasi. Terbukti dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan penerjemahan ini membuat masyarakat lebih memahami pentingnya kegiatan menerjemahkan terkhusus dalam menerjemahkan salah satu kitab fiqh Matn Zubad dimana berisi syariat yang digunakan kegiatan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This study measures the readiness of Pre-service Arabic teachers to digital media based on the European Profiling Grid (EPG). Using the descriptive qualitative method, this study took data from 57 students of the Arabic Education Study Program. The results describe 98% was in the first development stage which is: can download resources from websites. While the lowest readiness with a percentage of 16% is in the third stage with indicators: can design blended learning modules using a learning management system. Therefore, it can be concluded that Pre-service Arabic teachers have a high readiness to use and implement digital media in teaching the Arabic language. However, there needs to be an effort to increase their readiness to use and implement the Learning Management System in their teaching practice. In addition, the results of this study are expected to be useful for mapping the stages of readiness of Pre-service Arabic language teachers to digital media, so that Pre-service Arabic language teachers know their strengths and weaknesses in utilizing digital media in their teaching, and it can also motivate them to develop their potential especially in the use of the digital media.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of subtitled videos on students' Arabic listening skills. This research uses a quantitative approach and a one-group experimental method. The pre-test is given before the treatment, and the post-test is given after the treatment. The data collection process uses observation, documentation and tests. The research sample was 60 first-semester students in an Arabic listening class. This research was carried out from September to December 2023. The results showed PAlpha (0.05) = 3.0329 (0.05), or t-count t-table = -21.1671 2.0009 . This means that subtitled videos positively impact learning to listen to Arabic. Students' listening skills have also improved compared to before using video subtitles. Individually, students' scores also increased 100%, and the lowest score was in class B. The results of this research have implications for stakeholders' understanding of implementing education to provide learning resources and multimedia technology in Arabic language classes. The findings recommend that teachers consider designing videos as Arabic language learning resources that can illustrate the special needs of listening courses or other courses

Abstract

Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu wujud pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pelatihan yang dilakukan secara offline ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada guru bahasa Jerman DKI Jakarta mengenai penggunaan aplikasi Mendeley agar mampu membuat daftar pustaka secara otomatis dalam karya tulis ilmiah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan secara offline dengan menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley yang dilakukan selama 2 hari. Secara garis umum kegiatan ini dapat dilaksanakan dengan lancar, baik, dan sesuai dengan perencanaan yang telah disiapkan sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan, peserta diketahui telah dapat menerima informasi dengan baik dan telah memiliki kemampuan serta keterampilan dalam penggunaan aplikasi Mandeley untuk meningkatkan kualitas referensi karya tulis mereka. Dari kegiatan ini diharapkan para guru dapat lebih mudah dalam melakukan sitasi atau mencantumkan sumber dalam penelitainnya.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertema: “Peningkatan Kompetensi Bahasa Arab Guru RA Maria Ulfah Melalui Pendekatan Gamifikasi Berbasis Genially". Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk 1) meningkatkan kompetensi guru RA Maris Ulfah dalam membaca bahasa arab melalui media pembelajaran genially yang efektif dan menarik. 2) Memberikan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis pendekatan Gamifikasi menggunakan genially untuk materi membaca bahasa arab. Dengan mempertimbangkan dan memahami pentingnya kompetensi guru dalam membaca bahasa arab serta keterampilan penggunaan media pembelajaran genially untuk guru dalam proses mengajar. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan di atas adalah dengan pelatihan membaca bahasa arab untuk guru dengan media pembelajaran menggunakan genially yang efektif, interaktif, dan menarik dengan pendekatan gamifikasi. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, kegiatan ini dikemas dalam bentuk pelatihan pendidikan yang meliputi seminar penyampaian materi dan workshop disertai dialog interaktif. Selain itu, juga diberikan materi-materi tentang konsep dan teknik membaca bahasa arab dengan baik melalui gamifikasi serta teknik pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif yaitu game atau permainan berdasarkan pendekatan Gamifikasi. Selama mengikuti pelatihan, peserta diberikan materi dan diberikan pendampingan dalam pembuatan permainan edukatif tentang materi Membaca bahasa arab. Khalayak sasaran dalam kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah para guru RA Maria Ulfah, kegiatan dibuat dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pendidikan yang akan dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta terhadap para guru RA Maria Ulfah. Dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru dan mahasiswa menunjukkan antusiasme dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif, terdapat peningkatan wawasan dalam mengimplementasikan media berbasis gamifikasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan membaca Bahasa Arab, kesadaran menyikapi perkembangan teknologi informasi di era industri 4.0 di kalangan mahasiswa semakin meningkat, terbentuknya pemahaman membaca Bahasa Arab melalui media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis gamifikasi, serta terjalinnya silaturahmi dan komunikasi yang baik antara guru dan mahasiswa.
