Abstract

This study used Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model and Respect, Empathy, Audible, Clarity, and Humble (REACH) as a process for improving student learning outcomes in Study Program of Management of Health Information 1st grade. The objective was to improve student learning outcomes and found a model learning that suited students. Qualitative approach of initial observations with teacher interview, student learning outcomes at pre-cycle, exams at the end of the cycle, documentation, observation sheets, and field notes all contributed to the data collected for this classroom action research project. Data was reduced, presented, examined, and made conclusions. The results of this study analysis showed that in CTL process using REACH communication patterns showed positive results and were considered effective. The findings of this study indicated that the implementation of teaching and learning activities was in accordance with the learning model and could improve student learning outcomes in the cycle.

Abstract

Implementation of increasing level of eye health using health education using color blind screening method in the Bulakdawung Study Group Kediri showed that increasing in the knowledge of parents and children regarding eye health through health education using color blind screening method with 100% results of not experiencing color blindness. Parents need to maintain eye health by providing nutrition/diet to children with a source of vitamin A, need to prevent eye trauma when children play, and to give health education to prevent eye trauma in children. In play groups, it is necessary to provide supplementary food rich sources of Vitamin A periodically every 2-3 months and eye health education to children in study groups.

Abstract

Early childhood is an age that is vulnerable to crime and sexual violence. Educational steps through sex education programs, children introduce to from an early age. Therefore, parents required to have sensitivity, skills, and understanding to be able to provide certain portions of information, which does not make children confused and curious because parents are the party most responsible for children in educational matters, including sex education. Accompanying children by parents, teachers, or people closest to them is especially important. The method used is to provide direct education by presenting material and animated videos. Measuring children's understanding uses a questionnaire with pictures, numbers, and letters. The results obtained showed that education was proven to be able to improve children's experience, with pre-test scores on children's understanding out of 30 children showing that 15 children (52%) were good, 11 children (36.7%) were sufficient, and 4 children (13.3%) were poor. , while the post-test scores of 30 children showed good understanding for 26 children (85%) and enough for 4 children (15%).

Abstract

The aim of community service was to improve the quality of teachers implemented by PAUD institutions in Kediri City that participate in PSP 2 by involving all school members and carried out in the form of coaching, counseling, mentoring, motivation, and empowerment as human resource management. The implementation of community service showed that PAUD institutions also implement and carry out several programs to improve the quality of teachers such as comparative studies, training workshops, internal training, study groups, coaching, field visits, workshops, competitions and improving formal education (college). Human resource management is very important in improving the quality of teachers in PAUD institutions. So that PAUD institutions must really pay attention to and maintain human resources in accordance with the provisions of applicable laws.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perception of Congregation towards the Service carried out by the Church Music Development Commission/ Komisi Pembinaan Musik Gereja (KPMG) in accompanying praise in worship. The research subjects were 60 congregations of GKJW Semampir using purposive sampling techniques. This study uses a quantitative method, research data were collected using a congregation satisfaction scale with 5 Service Quality Indicators according to Parasuraman as many as 13 items. The study was analyzed by frequency distribution, SPSS version 25.0 for windows. The results of the study showed that the Congregation's Satisfaction with the Church Music Development Commission Service was moderate. The Tangibles Indicator obtained was moderate, the Reliability Indicator obtained was moderate, the Responsiveness Indicator obtained was moderate, the Assurance Indicator obtained was high, and the Empathy Indicator obtained was high.

Abstract

This community service is based on the results of observations and research experiences during the implementation of learning to recognize vocabulary in the language development of children who are less able to understand the teacher's explanation, not all children can imitate vocabulary and mention it correctly. The purpose of this community service is to improve English language skills in recognizing ADL vocabulary with picture media using the Class Action approach in children at Kindergarten of PKK Parang 1, Bulakdawung, Kediri Regency, totaling 12 children. The results show that children's English skills in independence, and accuracy in children, most of the children have reached the Developing According to Expectations (Berkembang Sesuai Harapan) stage with the following details: for the independence aspect 79.17%, and for the accuracy aspect 72.92%. While the average percentage of all three reached 76.04%. Thus, it can be concluded that the hypothesis of action to improve children's language skills in the activity of recognizing ADL Vocabulary with picture media in children aged 5-6 years at Kindergarten of PKK Parang I, Bulakdawung, Kediri Regency can be accepted.

Abstract

Independence is a character that is important to develop in every human being from an early age, because independence is an ability related to the skill to make decisions about everything related to personal activities and needs. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods and data is generated through observation, interviews, and documentation. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the program to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students for the independence of children aged 5-6 years. Based on the research results, it was concluded that by strengthening the profile of Pancasila students, children's independence increased, not only the aspect of independence but other aspects also increased, this is because children not only carry out and complete projects, but children also take part in providing ideas and ideas. about what activities the child wants in the project that will be held. So that children can express their ideas into something real and will also carry out activities according to their wishes and interests. These things can certainly improve aspects of development in children, one of which is the aspect of independence.

Abstract

The modern technology made children less interested in going to Sunday School, they preferred to stay at home watching various interesting shows on their handphones. Another fact, the teaching model in Sunday School was monotonous and seemed traditional ways, so Sunday School teachers were required to be more creative and innovative in their teaching. One way was using audio-visual media through restitution patterns for children. This research’s purpose was to overview the importance of restitution through audio-visual media in the spiritual growth of Sunday School children. This research used a descriptive qualitative research method using a literature study approach. The research results showed that in restitution process, collaboration between teachers and children through audio-visual media played important role in the spiritual growth of Sunday School children such as increasing children's interest in learning the truth of God's Word, helping children remember the material presented by Sunday School teachers, motivating children to be diligent in Sunday School worship.
