Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country and is the fourth most populous country in the world and has a Muslim majority population. For developing countries, poverty is a problem that becomes homework for which a solution must be found. Several government programs that have been launched in the context of poverty alleviation need to be relied on more to be the solution to this problem, instead of being successful, the poverty rate in Indonesia is getting higher. In Islamic economics, zakat is a concentrated discourse as an alternative solution to the problem of poverty. The majority of Indonesia's Muslim population provides a great opportunity to achieve the mission of alleviating poverty. It is believed that the more Muslims are aware of the obligation to pay zakat, the greater the potential for zakat collected. Wise zakat management and fair and equitable distribution are certainly one of the conditions that must be met so that all levels of society can feel the function of zakat. This paper uses a literature approach and draws the conclusion that the potential for zakat in Indonesia reaches fantastic figures. Zakat can be used as an alternative solution to the problem of poverty in Indonesia. With professional management, the people of Indonesia must be optimistic that the poverty rate will soon be reduced.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the effectiveness of Fibonacci retracement in establishing take profit and stop loss levels for stocks within the LQ45 Index. The study utilizes a quantitative approach with a descriptive method, analyzing daily stock price data from January 2021 to December 30, 2021, through the Fibonacci retracement indicator. The research sample comprises 10 companies listed in the LQ45 Index, selected based on specific criteria. The results demonstrate that Fibonacci retracement is effective in pinpointing significant levels for determining take profit and stop loss, achieving an effectiveness rate of 74%. Fibonacci levels such as 38.2% and 61.8% have proven to be crucial references in establishing take profit and stop loss positions. These findings endorse the use of Fibonacci retracement as a technical analysis tool capable of maximizing profit potential while minimizing losses, particularly in markets experiencing an uptrend or downtrend.

Abstract

The research location is located in the Ulujadi area, Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province, which is one of the areas that has abundant andesite mineral content. This research aims to optimizing use of andesite rocks in the Ulujadi area of Palu City. The research was carried out using qualitative and quantitative methods in the form of rock sampling and laboratory analysis, namely compressive strength test analysis to determine the technical properties of rocks and petrographic analysis to determine the quality of andesite based on the minerals that make up it. The results of petrographic analysis show that the andesite rocks in the study area are composed of minerals that have a good level of resistance. ST 07 has a mineral composition of plagioclase (38%), pyroxene (5%), biotite (5%), hornblende (7%), and soil mass (45%), and has a compressive strength test of 123 MPa, included in the classification strong, and is used as a foundation for light to medium buildings (SNI 03-0394-1989). ST 08 has a mineral composition of plagioclase (32%), ground mass (50%), opaque minerals (5%), orthoclase (5%), quartz (4%), and hornblende (4%), with a compressive strength test value of 97MPa, including in the strong classification, and can be used as a foundation for light to medium buildings. Meanwhile, ST 09 has a mineral composition of plagioclase (30%), hornblende (12%), quartz (3%), biotite (3%), orthoclase (7%), pyroxene (5%), and soil mass (40%). ), it is included in the weak category due to the relatively high degree of weathering, and can only be used as an ornamental stone.

Abstract

The deceleration of the global economy resulted in a significant decline in world commodity prices, especially coal. The decline in these commodities made the stock price of the coal subsector decline. This study aims to analyze the accuracy of William's moving average and fractal indicator prediction signals with actual results on stock charts. The method used in this study is the Mann Whitney test. The study's conclusions show that the use of both technical analysis indicators to predict the direction of changes or movements in stock prices produces accurate findings, with predictive signals from fractal indicators and moving averages not much different from each other. Based on the accuracy rates of 87% and 85% respectively for William's fractals and moving averages, it can be concluded that William's fractal indicator is significantly more reliable than moving averages in predicting buy and sell signals for mining stock. Based on the findings of this study, both short- and long-term investors can benefit from using the Williams fractal indicator to predict future price trends and identify when to buy and sell stocks to maximize profits.
