For developing countries, poverty is a problem that becomes homework for which a solution must be found. Several government programs that have been launched in the context of poverty alleviation need to be relied on more to be the solution to this problem, instead of being successful, the poverty rate in Indonesia is getting higher. In Islamic economics, zakat is a concentrated discourse as an alternative solution to the problem of poverty. The majority of Indonesia's Muslim population provides a great opportunity to achieve the mission of alleviating poverty. It is believed that the more Muslims are aware of the obligation to pay zakat, the greater the potential for zakat collected. Wise zakat management and fair and equitable distribution are certainly one of the conditions that must be met so that all levels of society can feel the function of zakat. This paper uses a literature approach and draws the conclusion that the potential for zakat in Indonesia reaches fantastic figures. Zakat can be used as an alternative solution to the problem of poverty in Indonesia. With professional management, the people of Indonesia must be optimistic that the poverty rate will soon be reduced.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the effectiveness of Fibonacci retracement in establishing take profit and stop loss levels for stocks within the LQ45 Index. The study utilizes a quantitative approach with a descriptive method, analyzing daily stock price data from January 2021 to December 30, 2021, through the Fibonacci retracement indicator. The research sample comprises 10 companies listed in the LQ45 Index, selected based on specific criteria. The results demonstrate that Fibonacci retracement is effective in pinpointing significant levels for determining take profit and stop loss, achieving an effectiveness rate of 74%. Fibonacci levels such as 38.2% and 61.8% have proven to be crucial references in establishing take profit and stop loss positions. These findings endorse the use of Fibonacci retracement as a technical analysis tool capable of maximizing profit potential while minimizing losses, particularly in markets experiencing an uptrend or downtrend.

Abstract

The deceleration of the global economy resulted in a significant decline in world commodity prices, especially coal. The decline in these commodities made the stock price of the coal subsector decline. This study aims to analyze the accuracy of William's moving average and fractal indicator prediction signals with actual results on stock charts. The method used in this study is the Mann Whitney test. The study's conclusions show that the use of both technical analysis indicators to predict the direction of changes or movements in stock prices produces accurate findings, with predictive signals from fractal indicators and moving averages not much different from each other. Based on the accuracy rates of 87% and 85% respectively for William's fractals and moving averages, it can be concluded that William's fractal indicator is significantly more reliable than moving averages in predicting buy and sell signals for mining stock. Based on the findings of this study, both short- and long-term investors can benefit from using the Williams fractal indicator to predict future price trends and identify when to buy and sell stocks to maximize profits.

Abstract

Rural economic empowerment increasingly faces a gap between strong cultural potential and limited managerial capacity to respond to global markets. In Galesong Kota Village, Takalar Regency, this is evident in the Balla Barakka ri Galesong customary settlement, where rich historical-cultural assets remain stagnant due to passive management and weak integration into a modern business ecosystem. The challenge is reinforced by limited cross-generational synergy, with MSMEs relying on traditional practices while youth creativity is underutilized. This community service program aimed to overcome stagnation by strengthening MSME economic independence, promoting sustainable well-being, and building collaboration among artisans, youth, and POKDARWIS to support the “Impact Village” vision. Implemented through the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, the program shifted participants toward an asset-oriented mindset. Conducted participatorily on October 5, 2025, with 50 participants, it used asset mapping and appreciative inquiry via workshops and FGDs to identify “hidden treasures” and design strategies that transform cultural value into economic value without undermining sacred traditions. Results were highly significant, shown by a 97% increase in understanding of business management and asset development. The program also produced functional integration: Balla Barakka’s historical narrative became the core value proposition of MSME products, while older generations safeguarded authentic production quality and younger generations led digital marketing and packaging innovation. Overall, ABCD proved effective in revitalizing the village economy by turning passive assets into productive capital through inclusive collaboration.
