Abstract

Poros Nusantara Utama Ltd (PT PNU) is one of the companies that sell herbal products. The company has partnership agreement with local farmers group of Gede Pangrango and Halimun Salak National Parks. In 2009, the company received organic certification for dried kidney tea/java tea (Ortoshiphon stamineus) though it has no effect to its trade. The purposes of the research are: 1) to identify internal and external factors of PT PNU, 2) to formulate marketing strategy for dried java tea, 3) to compose the priority of marketing strategies. The methods are IE, SWOT and QSP. IE matrix shows PT PNU is on hold and maintain where the strategies are market penetration and product development. SWOT matrix shows eight strategies where based on QSP, the first priority is to maintain product quality.

Abstract

AbstrakSalah satu cabang penelitian dalam bidang astronomi adalah pekerjaan fotometri, yakni pengukuran secara akurat kecerahan dari suatu objek langit pada panjang gelombang tertentu. Dengan semakin populernya kamera Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) sebagai alat perekam citra, maka sangat memungkinkan melakukan pekerjaan fotometri berbasis kamera DSLR dengan sensor CMOS sebagai instrumen alternatif selain kamera Charge Coupled Device (CCD). Objek yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah gugus terbuka M45 (Pleiades Cluster), salah satu gugus terbuka yang paling populer yang ada di rasi Taurus. Citra DSLR medan luas diolah menggunakan perangkat lunak IRIS guna mendapatkan citra pita B, G dan R. Fitur fotometri bukaan IRIS juga digunakan untuk memperoleh nilai magnitudo instrumen bintang-bintang yang ada dalam citra. Transformasi dari sistem Bayer BGR menjadi sistem Johnson-Cousins BVR dilakukan menggunakan persamaan polinom dengan koefisien yang ditentukan melalui regresi linear multivariat. Diagram warna magnitudo yang dikonstruksi dari magnitudo hasil transformasi menunjukkan profil deret utama yang jelas. Dari hasil ini, dapat dideduksi bahwa fotometri DSLR dapat digunakan untuk keperluan ilmiah setelah melalui transformasi yang tepat. Kata-kata kunci: kamera DSLR, gugus terbuka M45, fotometri bukaan, transformasi magnitudo  Abstract One branch of research in the field of astronomy is photometry, that is the measurements of the brightness of astronomical object in specific wavelength. With the growing popularity of Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) cameras as instrument for image recording, it’s possible to do photometrical works using DSLR cameras with CMOS sensors as the alternative instruments to Charge Coupled Device (CCD) cameras. The object of this research is open cluster M45 (Pleiades Cluster), one of the most popular open cluster in Taurus constelation. Wide field image taken using DSLR camera was processed using IRIS software in order to get B, G and R frames. IRIS aperture photometry tool was also used to obtain instrumental magnitude of stars in the image. Transformation from Bayer BGR to standard Johnson-Cousins BVR system has been done using polinomial equation with coefficients determined through multivariate linear regression. Color magnitude diagram constructed using the transformed magnitudes shows a clear main sequence profile. Abstract

Abstract.This study aims to determine the effect of auditor independence on audit quality. Analysis Unit was Public Accounting Office in Bandung, Observation unit was Auditor. The sample in this study were 67 Auditors from Public Accounting Office in Bandung. Sampling was taken with probability sampling technique. This Study took primary data and secondary data with the quantitative approach and explanatory method.  Based on the result of research known that auditor independence has the significant influence on audit quality.Keywords: Audit independence; Audit qualityAbstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh independensi auditor terhadap kualitas audit. Unit analisis yang akan diteliti adalah Kantor Akuntan Publik berdomisili di Kota Bandung, sedangkan unit observasi adalah para Auditor. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Auditor sebanyak 67 orang pada Kantor Akuntan Publik yang berdomisili di Kota Bandung. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik probability sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif (quantitative approach), metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode explanatory.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan atas independensi auditor terhadap kualitas audit.Kata Kunci : Independensi Auditor; Kualitas Audit

Abstract

This paper describes the implementation of an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array)-based signal generator that simultaneously generates dual frequencies. The example demonstrates the capability of generating twodifferent frequencies at the same time. Direct Digital Synthesis or DDS is implemented as the core in generating the signal. To reduce the memory size, the quadrature symmetry of sine wave is created in order to achieve an effi cient look-up table for DDS core. As a result, only one fourth of total look-up table is allocated for storing the data. The system has been developed for Xilinx Spartan-6 XC6SLX9 FPGA integrated with 12-bit Pmod-AD1 analog to digital converter module consisting of AD7476A. The user sets the voltage input connected to Pmod-AD1 module as input control for changing the frequency; each input is dedicated to one channel of frequency. The system is also integrated with 8-bit Pmod-DA1 digital to analog converter module (AD7303) for generating the output signal. The advantage of parallelism capability in FPGA makes it possible to generate two different frequencies (2.18 KHz and 4.35 KHz) simultaneously.

Abstract

Before the development of the framework structure (using beams and columns), loadbearing wall structure with loads that will work on the building structure bestowed on the walls commonly used in the community. One form loadbearing wall structure is commonly used arrangement brick wall. Adobe is a brick made by printing and maintaining in a damp atmosphere, tras mix, lime and water with or without other additives. One brick technology that has been developed is the use of brick without plaster and adhesives. The composition brick wall has a good ability in resisting axial forces but weak in resisting lateral forces. One of the solutions used to improve the ability of the composition of the brick wall is the lateral force resist giving the initial prestressing force (prestressed) through fastening reinforcement (via tightening bolts). Prediction failure of brick wall composition into focus the problem in this research. Experimental testing in the laboratory, carried out to see the damage that occurs in the form of brick walls in receiving loads (axial and axial-lateral). Abaqus (Simulia 6.10.1) Explicit is used as validation in predicting the form of failure that occurs in the composition of the brick Wall which receives load.

Abstract

Background: To determine the incidence of hepatitis A infections and the clinical profiles of adult patients admitted to public hospitals in Jakarta, Indonesia. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study that utilised consecutive secondary data from internal medicine wards of seven public hospitals in Jakarta between 2011 and 2013. Eligibility criteria included patients over the age of 18 years and an ICD-10 diagnosis code of B15, acute hepatitis A. Case proportion was reported per 1000 people by dividing incidence per year to total in-ward patients. Clinical profiles were reported descriptively. Laboratory results were compared and categorised into groups of patients aged below and above 25 years old. Results: Data revealed that hospitalisations of patients with hepatitis A had decreased from 2011 to 2013. 289 patients were studied, the majority were young adults (18-25 years old) and their common chief complaints were nausea (36%), fever (24%), and jaundice (21%). Higher bilirubin levels were seen in older patients. There were 13 patients coinfected with hepatitis B, one patient coinfected with hepatitis C, and one patient coinfected with HIV. Conclusions: The proportion of hepatitis A infection amongst adults admitted to public hospitals in Jakarta was low and had decreased during the study period. Most of the patients reported classical clinical manifestations. This study found that the targeted age group may benefit from receiving routine hepatitis A vaccinations.

Abstract

Latar Belakang. Penggunaan antibiotik yang tepat dapat meminimalkan terjadinya resistensi antibiotika. selain penghematan secara ekonomi. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya pemantauan dan evaluasi penggunaan antibiotik di fasilitas kesehatan dan feedback terhadap peresepan antibiotik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi secara kuantitatif penggunaan antibiotik baik jenis dan jumlah antibiotik berdasarkan klasifikasi Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC)  dengan  pengukuran Defined Daily Dose (DDD) sebagai metode terstandar pengukuran kuantitas penggunaan antibiotik. Metode. Penelitian ini adalah  observasional deskriptif,  menggunakan rancangan potong lintang pada periode Januari-Juni 2019 pada RSPI Prof. Dr. Sulianti Saroso. Kriteria inklusi berupa kasus pasien dewasa bukan kasus TB yang dirawat di ruang rawat inap non ICU dan penggunaan antibiotiknya masuk ke dalam klasifikasi Anatomical Therapueutic Chemical (ATC). Berdasarkan data rekam medik  terkumpul dalam lembar pengumpul data.Hasil. Sebanyak 96 status rekam medik dengan 51 kasus penyakit infeksi non bedah dan 45 kasus infeksi bedah yang menggunakan antibiotik. Difteri merupakan kasus infeksi non bedah terbanyak yaitu 10.5%. Distribusi penggunaan antibiotik golongan beta laktam kombinasi inhibitor betalaktamase sebanyak  37.28%, golongan sefalosporin  33.90%, golongan penisilin sebanyak 10,17%. Berdasarkan nilai DDD/patient day antibiotik Penicillin Prokain memiliki nilai tertiggi yaitu sebesar 97.22 dan nilai DDD/patient day terendah yaitu pada antibiotik meropenem yaitu sebesar 0.22.  Kesimpulan. Pada penelitian ini, kuantitas antibiotik berdasarkan nilai DDD/100 patient day tertinggi adalah Penisilin Prokain, seiring dengan difteri sebagai kasus penyakit infeksi non bedah terbanyak pada periode Januari-Juni 2019.  Mengingat penelitian dilakukan pada saat kejadian luar biasa difteri, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut pada periode berikutnya sebagai data pembanding kuantitas antibiotik di masa depan.

Abstract

Autonomous radar interference is a challenging problem in autonomous vehicle systems. Interference signals can decrease the signal-to-interference-noise ratio (SINR), and this condition decreases the performance detection of autonomous radar. This paper exploits a neural network and signal decomposition to detect and mitigate radar interference in autonomous vehicle applications. A neural network (NN) with four inputs, one hidden layer, and one output is trained with various signal-to-noise (SNR), interference radar bandwidth, and sweep time of autonomous radar. Four inputs of NN represent SNR, mean, total harmonic distortion (THD), and root means square (RMS) of the received radar signal. Variational mode decomposition (VMD) and zeroing based on a constant false alarm rate (CFAR-Z) are used to mitigate radar interference. VMD algorithm is applied to decompose interference signals into multi-frequency sub-band. As a result, the proposed neural network can detect radar interference, and NN-VMD-CFAR-Z can increase SINR up to 2dB higher than the NN-CFAR-Z algorithm.

Abstract

Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is a non-destructive tool for exploring an object buried underground. Currently, GPR is also considered for reinforced concrete inspection. However, the image produced by GPR can not be easily interpreted. Besides, the large observation of building concrete inspection also motivates the researchers to fastening and easing radar image interpretation. Thus,  this research proposes a new method to translate GPR scattering data image to its internal structure visualization. The proposed employs a convolutional autoencoder model using amplitude and phase radar data as input of the algorithm. As evaluation, in this stage, we perform numerical analysis by using finite-difference time-domain-based synthetic data that considers three cases: concrete with rebar, concrete with crack, and concrete with rebar and crack. All of those cases are simulated with randomized dimensions and positions that is possible in the real applications. Compared with the baseline method, our method shows superiority, especially in the semantic segmentation perspective. The parameter size of the proposed model is also much smaller, around one-third of the previous method. Therefore, the method is feasible enough to be implemented in real applications addressing an automatic internal structure reinforced concrete visulaization
