Abstract

ABSTRAKSemarang sebagai kota bahari memiliki aset wisata bahari yaitu Pantai Maron. Pengembangan kepariwisataan di Semarang perlu dilaksanakan dengan pola pengembangan yang lebih baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui nilai baku mutu air laut untuk wisata bahari, indeks kerapatan dan keanekaragaman mangrove, (2) menyusun strategi pengelolaan ekosistem mangrove dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT (Strength, Opportunities, Weakness, Threats). Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 1-20 bulan Oktober 2017 dengan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah studi kasus secara deskriptif kualitatif. Pengolahan data digunakan dengan melakukan pengujian nilai indeks mutu lingkungan perairan, indeks kerapatan dan indeks keanekaragaman mangrove. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perhitungan indeks mutu lingkungan perairan dengan nilai 8,81 dengan kategori sangat buruk. Indeks Kerapatan dan Indeks Keanekaragaman dari pohon mangrove berupa Rhizophora mucronata 0.32 / m2 dan Avicennia marina 0.5 / m2 dengan kategori jarang dan 0.37 berkriteria buruk atau kemantapan ekosistem tidak mantap. Memaksimalkan fungsi utama mangrove sebagai langkah pengelolaan terpadu bersama masyarakat Kelurahan Tambakharjo menjadi kunci pengelolaan kawasan wisata pantai maron kota semarang menjadi lebih baik.Kata kunci : Pantai maron, Mutu air laut untuk wisata bahari, Indeks kerapatan dan keanekaragaman,ABSTRACTSemarang as a maritime city has marine tourism assets namely Maron Beach. The objectives of this research are (1) to know the value of seawater quality standard for marine tourism, density index and mangrove diversity, (2) to formulate mangrove ecosystem management strategy using SWOT analysis (Strength, Opportunities, Weakness, Threats). The study was conducted on October 1-20 in October 2017 with the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative case study. Data processing is used by testing the water quality index value of aquatic environment, density index and mangrove diversity. The results showed that the calculation of the aquatic environment quality index with a value of 8.81 with a very bad category. Density Index and Diversity Index of mangrove trees in the form of Rhizophora mucronata 0.32 / m2 and Avicennia marina 0.5 / m2 in rare categories and 0.37 with poor criteria or unstable ecosystem stability. Maximizing the main function of mangrove as an integrated management step with Tambakharjo Urban Village becomes the key of maroon coastal resort management in Semarang city to be better.Keywords: Maroon beach, sea water quality for marine tourism, density index and diversity,

Abstract

Semarang as nautical city has tourism recreation of them is Maron beach. The recent problem is, Maron beach has great potential in nautical tourism, while management have not done optimally. The developing of tourism in Semarang need to be implemented by developing design which is more emphasizes of quality than quantity to be based on the potential and growing problem. The purposes of the study are to determine assess the suitability of Land and Water Quality for Marine Ecotourism in Coastal Recreation Maron Semarang. Research conducted in April 2012-January 2013. The objective method used in this research is a case study conducted explorative. Analyzing data is used index conformity Tourism and Water Quality Standard Marine for Marine Tourism in appropriate with the Policy of the Minister of Environment Number 51 of 2004 as soon as Index Environmental Water Quality. The results show that the calculation of index suitability travel beach recreation activities is 66%. This indicates that the coastal Maron Beach Semarang classified in the category Match (S2). While the value of Index Environmental Water Quality as much as 31.1 for category as bad category.

Abstract

Management of mangrove ecosystem is an important agenda in conserving tourism spots in coastal area. This research aimed at examining the recreation activities done in mangrove ecosystem area and mangrove forest strategy in Maron Beach, Tambakharjo, Semarang Municipality. This research employed a survey approach using direct interviews and field observations. The repondent included the entire population in the research area. Samples of this study were selected using cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected by observations, interviews and document study, followed by SWOT analysis. The results showed that the opening of Maron Beach recreation area has given some negative impacts to the post-rehabilitation of mangrove ecosystems, reducing the function mangrove in protecting the shore from coastal abrasion, reducing ability of wind abrasion protection, weakening the environmental conditions, decreasing the number of visitors and decreasing the production of fish. Mangrove forest management should be progressive, which means that research should be done in poor and unsteady conditions which result allow the market to continuously expand, enlarge the market growth and maximize the progress. Through the implementation of a non-overlapping effort, this condition can be improved.

Abstract

Researchers have intensively studied Islamic modernity since the movement has become a reasonably effective tool in mobilizing the masses and seeking political support. Almost 90 percent of Indonesian people are Muslim. The concept of Indonesia in making policies on state issues has resulted in a deadlocked relationship between its people and the concept of a state that tends toward the Dutch colonial nation. Islam is a characteristic of Indonesian society; however, the state does not use the concept in Islam. Hence, the concept of the state not being in line with society has resulted in today’s Indonesian people living full of poverty, even though they live in a country with abundant earth, air, and water wealth, coupled with captivating and unique seas for the world to see. However, how does the modern measure of Islam in Indonesia affect democracy? Using qualitative descriptive research methods with a literature study approach, this study discovered that modern Islam in Indonesia has various motives when viewed from multiple aspects used to describe problems occurring in the past, currently, or projecting issues that will arise in the future as suggestions and constructive criticism. On the one hand, it is a form of community solidarity in mobilizing diverse aspirations for humanitarian aid. Nevertheless, on the other hand, it is ridden by the oligarchs of the political elite to gain votes. Moreover, on the outside, it stretches the actions of Islamic radicalism.

Abstract

Penelitian tahun 2011 dengan metode Digital Elevation Mode (DEM) menetapkan beberapa titik lokasi konstan terdampak banjir tiap musim hujan yakni kawasan pesisir dari ujung timur sampai ujung barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni jenis penelitian kualitatif atau disebut juga dengan metode penelitian naturalistik maupun metode etnografi. Adapun struktur ruang adalah susunan pusat-pusat permukiman dan sistem jaringan prasarana dan sarana yang berfungsi sebagai pendukung kegiatan sosial ekonomi masyarakat yang secara hierarkis memiliki hubungan fungsional. Dalam hal ini wilayah pesisir bermakna suatu wilayah peralihan antara daratan dan lautan. Sementra definisi dalam Undang-undang Nomor 27 Tahun 2007 tentang Pengelolaan Wilayah Pesisir dan Pulau-Pulau Kecil (selanjutnya PWK-PK) Pasal 1 Ayat (2), disebutkan bahwa wilayah pesisir adalah daerah peralihan antara ekosistem darat dan laut yang dipengaruhi oleh perubahan di darat dan laut.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper discusses the differential social structure activities of Dutch Businessmen or VOC, Chinese Klontong and Javanese Shipowners. After the disintegration of the Mataram Kingdom in the 18th century, it had an impact on the economic activities of the middle class of non-European traders on the North Coast of Java. The decline of the maritime trade situation in the 17th century in Southeast Asia in general and in Java in particular was caused by the VOC's military economic monopoly intervention pattern and agrarian kingdoms that did not pay attention to trade shipping. This writing uses a qualitative method with a socio-historical approach. This writing uses Mahan's theory that a strong maritime state must have a strong navy. This can be seen how the VOC maximized the military potential of its navy in dominating trade shipping on the North Coast of Java. Since then Java has been characterized by a rejection of the weak merchant class. The king of Java's choice to pull the economic center to the south also influenced the VOC's trade dominance on Java's North Coast. However, the economic pressure of the VOC slowly led to the emergence of a middle class that came from outside the rule of the royal class. This middle class was filled by Madurese captains alongside Javanese Nahkoda, as well as Chinese merchants, for the latter were considered tenacious despite often having strong trade relations with the Dutch or the VOC marking the discourse on the dynamics of trade and shipping in port cities on the North Coast of Java. Abstract

Mangunharjo Beach, Semarang, is not just a beach, but there are residents who contribute to every development that combines natural beauty, the latest technology, and the spirit of mutual cooperation, this beach is transformed into a living laboratory to realize the concept of Society 5.0. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the scientific renewal of the Mangunharjo community. The study was conducted by analyzing field surveys of groups of people who were carried out randomly. With the contribution of the community, coastal cities, community concerns and community pressure, In addition to the digitalization of smart cities, this location inspires to create a better future, technology is not just a tool, but also a bridge to connect humans and nature.

Abstract

This study aims to improve community welfare by developing budikdamber. By introducing new tools and more efficient cultivation methods, this study makes a real contribution to the Wanasari Village, Brebes community. The socialization and training carried out succeeded in increasing community interest in Budikdamber. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for the development of budikdamber in other areas.

Abstract

Industri perjalanan haji saat ini menjadi bahan diskusi di kalangan politisi, pembuat kebijakan publik serta akademisi dan tokoh agama. Dasar dari pembahasan ini adalah bagaimana pengelolaan industri haji dan umrah mengalami perubahan yang signifikan dari masa kolonial hingga era awal kemerdekaan yang dipengaruhi oleh globalisasi, kemajuan teknologi transportasi dan dinamika sosial ekonomi. Industri jasa ini mengalami persaingan yang ketat di antara para agen perjalanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tantangan dalam pengelolaan industri haji dari perspektif kebijakan pemerintah dan aktivitas industri jasa lokal yang turut serta dalam pelayanan perjalanan haji pada masa awal kemerdekaan.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan sumber studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan industri haji dan umrah mengalami perubahan sosial setelah Indonesia merdeka. Jika sebelumnya dimonopoli oleh Pemerintah Hindia Belanda dengan kapal-kapal perusahaan Belanda, maka setelah kemerdekaan menjadi lebih variatif mulai dari kapal uap hingga pesawat terbang. Dalam prosesnya, pengusaha lokal dilibatkan sebagai agen perjalanan. Namun demikian, masih banyak ditemukan fakta-fakta kecurangan atau hal-hal yang merugikan jemaah haji.Pembahasan temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertama, impian untuk memperbaiki perjalanan haji dengan mendirikan perusahaan pelayaran muslim, tidak berpengaruh pada kemajuan transportasi haji. Pelayanan pengangkutan jemaah haji dalam perjalanan menuju Jeddah masih tidak jauh berbeda antara masa kolonial dan masa awal Indonesia merdeka. Perbaikan yang signifikan terjadi setelah kendali perjalanan haji dipegang oleh pemerintah melalui Departemen Agama dan perusahaan pelayaran PT. Arafah. Kedua, dalam aspek administrasi pengangkutan jemaah haji masih sering merugikan jemaah bahkan cenderung diskriminatif, seperti yang terlihat dalam persoalan kuota haji. Penelitian ini dikaji dalam rangka memberikan perspektif baru dan merekomendasikan bahan kajian untuk penulisan sejarah ibadah haji pada masa awal Indonesia merdeka. Kata kunci: Industri Perjalanan Haji, Transportasi, Kondisi Pasca Revolusi Kemerdekaan AbstractThe Hajj travel industry is currently the subject of discussion among politicians, public policy makers as well as academics and religious figures. The basis for this discussion is how the management of the Hajj and Umrah industry experienced significant changes from colonial times to the early era of independence which was influenced by globalization, advances in transportation technology and socio-economic dynamics. The service industry experiences stiff competition among travel agents. This research aims to analyze the challenges in Hajj industry management from the perspective of government policy and the activities of the local service industry which participated in Hajj travel services during the early days of independence.This research uses qualitative research with a literature study source approach. The results of the research show that the management of the Hajj and Umrah industry experienced social changes after Indonesia's independence. If previously it was monopolized by the Dutch East Indies Government with Dutch company ships, then after independence it was more varied from steamships to airplanes. In the process, local entrepreneurs are involved as travel agents. However, there are still many facts of fraud or things that are detrimental to Hajj pilgrims.Discussion of the findings in this research shows that first, the dream of improving Hajj travel by establishing a Muslim shipping company, has no effect on the progress of Hajj transportation. The service for transporting Hajj pilgrims on their way to Jeddah was still not much different between the Colonial Period and the early days of independent Indonesia. Significant improvements after control of the Hajj trip was held by the government through the Department of Religion and the shipping company PT. Arafat. Secondly, in the administrative aspect of transporting Hajj pilgrims, it is still often detrimental to pilgrims and even tends to be discriminatory, as can be seen in the issue of Hajj quotas. This research was studied in order to provide a new perspective and recommend study material for writing the history of the pilgrimage in the early days of Independent Indonesia.Keywords: Hajj Travel Industry, Transportation, Post-Independence Conditions
