Abstract

Abstract

Conceptually, smart villages are related to resource management carried out by the government by utilizing appropriate technology. There are 3 main elements that make up a smart village that must be accommodated properly, namely government, community and environment. Pekon Wonodadi, Gadingrejo District is one of the leading villages in Pringsewu district, Lampung Province and has good potential in the economic field and has carried out village administration well. This condition makes it possible to transform Wonodadi into a Smart Village so that it can improve village functions and services for the community. One of the obstacles faced by Pekon Wonodadi becoming Smart Village is that the public service administration process is still not integrated into a system, so the services provided are still not optimal in terms of speed and accuracy of data. In addition, there is also a problem in the service file archiving process. In order to make Wonodadi becoming a smart village, mentoring activities and implementation of the Village Service Administration System (SIAP) were carried out where these activities correspond to the 2 elements of smart village, namely the government and the community. Evaluation of the activities was carried out by assessing the level of user acceptance of the SIAP application and it was found that the technology implemented could assist Wonodadi Village in improving the quality of service to the community and in the village administration process. This result is reflected in the survey results where 84% of the people feel that it is easier for them to get village services.

Abstract

Purpose: Face recognition has become an increasingly intriguing field in artificial intelligence research. In this study,   This study aims to explore the application of CNNs, implemented through TensorFlow, to develop a robust model for enhancing facial recognition accuracy in student attendance systems. The focus of this research is the development of a model capable of recognizing student faces under various lighting conditions and poses in an academic environment, using a multi-class dataset of student images collected from internship attendance records at the Computer Science Department. Methods: The dataset, comprising facial images from 19 students, served as the foundation for training and validating the CNN model. The dataset, sourced from the computer science department's internship attendance records, included a total of 231 images for training and 59 images for validation. The preprocessing phase included facial area detection and categorization, resulting in a well-organized dataset for training and validation. The CNN architecture, consisting of seven layers, was meticulously designed to achieve optimal performance. Result: The model exhibited exceptional accuracy, reaching 93% on the validation dataset after 300 training epochs. Precision, recall, and F1-score metrics were employed for a detailed evaluation across diverse classes, highlighting the model's proficiency in accurately categorizing facial images. Comparative analyses with a VGG-16-based model showcased the superiority of the proposed CNN architecture. Moreover, the implementation of a web service demonstrated the practical applicability of the model, providing accurate predictions with a remarkable response time of less than 0.3 seconds. Novelty: This comprehensive study not only advances face recognition technology but also presents a model applicable to real-world scenarios, particularly in student attendance systems.

Abstract

Kelas Ibu Hamil (KIH) Resiko Tinggi Kehamilan (Restikol) is a means for learning about health, especially related to pregnancy, in the form of face-to-face and in groups that aim of improving the knowledge and skills of pregnant women. KIH is actively running in Lampung Provinsi particularly in Lampung Selatan Regency. There are 27 Puskesmas and 297 groups. Health workers who are directly involved in the implementation of the KIH are 1513 with the highest number of health workers 652 midwives. This KIH activity is difficult to do, especially during a pandemic, with limited face-to-face activities, other means are needed to support KIH. By utilizing a smartphone-based application, KIH activities can be continued. The application is built by the SCRUM method and uses the flutter framework.

Abstract

Abstract

Smart Village innovatively uses information technology to improve quality of life and efficiency. This study seeks to cover research gaps, contribute to the research field, and serve as a platform for primary probabilistic research by overcoming a proposed concept about The Community Reporting application as a solution for mobile phones. This application development uses the DART language with the Flutter Framework. The research stages are divided into four parts: problem analysis, literature study, system development, and report writing. The UAT test on the community reporting application got a score of 81.43 percent from community respondents. Furthermore, the community reporting administration system scored 88.3% of the village apparatus respondents. Therefore, the developed application could be well received. The government and community should contribute to implementing government and developing villages based on information technology.
