Abstract

Social Science Education (IPS) in principle provides students with knowledge and experience about social life.  This is contained in the purpose and dimensions of social studies education which as a whole touches all aspects of students' lives.  Through social studies education, students from an early age at elementary school age can be helped in shaping their social character. Social studies education in elementary schools teaches the concepts and realities of social life that are essential to shape students into citizens who are able to live and practice social character which is realized through social skills in living with others. Social Studies is one of the media that is able to make an effective contribution to students to be able to have mental, personality and social skills based on morals, all of which are ideals of the expected character values of students. The ideal social character of students as aspired by this nation is students who are devoted to God Almighty, knowledgeable, ready to work together, work together and are willing to sacrifice for fellow citizens. The close relationship between social studies learning and the formation of the social character of students requires teachers, especially elementary school teachers, to be able to succeed in social studies learning more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKondisi pantai Wisata Bahari Kota Raja sangat memprihatinkan.dari hasil Observasi awal yang dilakukan terlihat sampah plastik dan sampah-sampah yang tidak terurai seperti kaleng alumunium, bangkai kayu.bakai binatang,popok bayi dan lainnya banyak mengotori pantai. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian Masyarkat ini  “Bersih Pantai” adalah untuk mengedukasi masyarakat disekitar Pantaii Kota Raja terhadap pentingnya menjaga pantai dan laut dari bahaya sampah plastik, melalui aksii nyata dan keterlibatan mahasiswa Bersama Pegawai Kelurahan Kota Raja dalam kegiatan „Bersih Pantai”. saasaran kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat sekitar pantai Kota Raja termasuk para pedagang serta mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Flores.hasil dari Kegiatan PKM ini juga merupakan sarana kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat sekaligus mengimplementasikan materi kebersihan lingkungan Pantai dan Laut. yang didapatkan di bangku kuliah dan di terapkan kepada mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar. Jumlah peserta yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini sebanyak 108 orang yang terdiri atas 98 orang mahasiswa,5 orang Dosen Pendamping, 4 orang dari Pemerintah Kelurahan Kota Raja, 10 orang dari masyarakat dan Pedagang. Kata Kunci: destinasi wisata; kebersihan pantai. ABSTRACTThe condition of the Kota Raja Marine Tourism beach is very apprehensive. From the results of the initial observations made, it can be seen that plastic waste and non-biodegradable waste such as aluminum cans, dead wood, animal remains, baby diapers and others litter the beach. The purpose of the "Clean Beach" service activity is to educate the community around Kota Raja Beach about the importance of protecting the beach and sea from the dangers of plastic waste, through real action and involvement of students with Kota Raja Village Employees in "Cleaning the Beach" activities. The method of this activity is the community around the coast of Kota Raja including traders and students of Elementary School Teacher Education at the University of Flores. The results of this activity are also a means of community service activities as well as implementing materials on beach and sea environmental hygiene. obtained in college and applied to Elementary School Teacher Education students. The number of participants involved in this activity was 108 people consisting of 98 students, 5 assistant lecturers, 4 people from the Kota Raja Village Government, 10 people from the community and traders. Keywords: tourist destinations, beach cleanliness.

Abstract

Social skills are a positive potential of the effect aspect that must continue to be possessed and developed by students from an early age. For this reason, this study was carried out with the aim of describing the social skills of grade V students at SDI GMIT Ende 4, in order to be an evaluation material for schools to compile efforts in this case for teachers to be able to optimize school potential. This effort certainly has an impact on the formation of students' social characteristics which can then be translated by students through the implementation of their social skills. The data collection technique in this study was to distribute questionnaires to 51 respondents to be filled in according to their habits and experiences regarding social skills, while the data analysis technique used frequency distribution analysis with the help of SPSS program version 25. The results of this study after the data were analyzed showed that the condition of social skills of grade V students at SDI GMIT Ende 4 tended to be moderate with 43.14% or as many as 22 of 51 class V students who were used as renspondent, and 9.80% or as many as 5 students were in the low category. This means that the condition of social skills of grade V students at SDI GMIT Ende 4 needs to be given good attention with strategic efforts through learning in schools, and teachers must also continue to strive to optimize their roles as facilitators, as triggers, motivators, as supervisors, and as evaluators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan Pengaruh Kompetensi Pedagogik Terhadap Motivasi Siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas IX di SMP Katolik St. Theresia Kupang. Metode pada penelitian merupakan metode kuantitatif. Jumlah responden (sampel) dalam penelitian adalah 93 orang siswa kelas IX SMP Katolik St. Theresia Kupang, dengan teknik pengambilan sampelnya adalah ramdom sampling. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket yang didukung dengan dokumentasi dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan Statisitik Korelasi Product Moment dan dilanjutkan dengan Regresi. Hasil Analisis Korelasi Product Moment dan Regresi menunjukan bahwa; terdapat Hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Kompetensi Pedagogik dengan Motivasi Siswa Pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas IX di SMPK St. Theresia Kupang, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi = 0,493 dan Probabilitas Sig = 0,000 < probabilitas 0,05. Sedangkan koefisien determinasi atau sumbangan efektif Kompetensi Pedagogik guru terhadap motivasi siswa adalah sebesar Rsquare = 0,243 x 100% = 24,3%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik guru berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas IX pada pembelajaran IPS di SMP Katolik Sta. Theresia Kupang, walaupun masih dalam kategori cukup. Oleh sebab itu berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, peneliti dapat memberikan beberapa saran; 1) bagi guru yang mengampuh mata pelajaran IPS hendaknya untuk lebih meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogiknya dengan terus memahami IPS sebagai mata pelajaran yang dinamis dan terus berkembang sesuai dengan kemajuan zaman, 2) Guru IPS perlu meningkatkan kreativitas dan inovasi dalam pembelajaran IPS, dengan menentukan, memodifikasi, atau menciptakan metode atau model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan ciri khas dan tujuan IPS, sehingga pembelajaran IPS lebih bermakna dan menarik untuk dipelajari oleh siswa, 3) Siswa hendaknya memiliki perspektif yang positif terhadap IPS sebagai mata pelajaran yang dapat berkontribusi terhadap keterampilan hidup baik keterampilan mental, pribadi maupun sosial, 4) bagi sekolah dalam hal ini kepala sekolah untuk dapat merencanakan program diklat yang mengakomodir guru mata pelajaran IPS, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru tersebut.

Abstract

The aim of this community service is to help children's psychomotor development to control body movements through coordinated activities between the central nerve and muscles through games, hone children's abilities through coloring sketches, and provide reinforcement and motivation for children with special needs so that children do not inferior and able to compete in the world of education like other children. This activity was carried out at SLB Negeri Ende. The methods used in this service activity are game methods, socialization approaches and lectures. The results of the activity show that children are more enthusiastic about learning, because the material provided is material that is combined with games, so that lessons are more fun for children and not boring. The conclusion of this service is that the community service activities carried out are expected to improve the concentration and learning abilities of children with special needs at SLB. Negeri Ende

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is: Is there an influence of parental parenting on the learning achievement of class IV students at SDI Onekore 5? The aim to be achieved is to determine the influence of parental parenting on the learning achievement of class IV SDI Onekore 5 students. The respondents in this research were 30 class IV SDI Onekore5 students. The research method used in this research is quantitative expos facto type. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and are supported by documentation. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS version 23 program. The results of the research show that there is a positive and significant influence of parental parenting variables on the learning achievement of class IV students at SDI Onekore 5 as indicated by a coefficient of determination of 0.299, which means that parental parenting has an influence on student learning outcomes by 29.9%.

Abstract

In the teaching and learning process, teachers have the task of encouraging guiding and providing learning facilities for students to achieve their goals. On of the factors that influences interest in learning is teacher creativity. This study aims to determine teacher Creativity in improving learning at SDK MBOMBA This study takes a qualitative approach. One of the Teachers creative abilities in learning is creating aids in the form of family cards. The descriptive nature of this study makes teacher creativity very involved. Data collection in this study includes observation, documentation studies and analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are four key components in the development of this qualitative study related to teacher creativity in improving the quality of SDK MBOMBA learning, such as teacher creativity in understanding learning materials that will be taught creativity in managing the classroom environment, creativity in using various learning methods and teacher creativity in use of learning media.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the influence of pedagogical competence and student motivation on the learning outcomes of class IX students in social studies subjects at St. Catholic Middle School. Theresia Kupang, both partially and simultaneously. This research is quantitative research. The research subjects were 93 class IX students of Sta Catholic Middle School. Theresia Kupang. Data were analyzed using Regression Statistics. The results of the Regression Analysis show that the effective contribution of the Pedagogical Competency variable to the learning outcomes of class IX students in social studies subjects at SMPK St. Theresia Kupang is Rsquare = 0.370 x 100% = 37%. (2) Coefficient of determination or effective contribution of the Student Motivation variable to Class IX Student Learning Outcomes in Social Sciences subjects at SMPK St. Theresia Kupang is Rsquare = 0.400 x 100% = 40%. (3) Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination or effective contribution of Gogic Competence and Student Motivation together on Class IX Student Learning Outcomes in Social Sciences subjects at SMPK St. Theresia Kupang is Rsquare = 0.485 x 100% = 48.5%. Thus it can be concluded that both partially and simultaneously pedagogical competence and learning motivation have a positive and significant effect on the learning outcomes of class IX students in social studies subjects at SMPS Sta. Theresia Kupang.

Abstract

Contextual teaching and learning (CTL) become learning that can empower pupils' cognitive learning achievement. The research objective was to enhance pupils' cognitive learning achievement (CLA) using the CTL approach. The classroom action research by Kemmis and McTaggart was used in this research. The subjects of this study were pupils of grade IV SDK Doreng, Doreng District, Sikka Regency. Participant research was ten pupils' (three boys, seven girls). Ten multiple-choice tests were used for the evaluation of each cycle. Analysis of data was quantitatively and percentage—five categories for student CLA. The success indicator is based on a score of 65 and classical completeness of 85%. The results showed that the activity of pupils and teachers in the first cycle was low. This finding was followed by not achieving completeness, where only 70% of pupils completed. The second cycle findings inform that pupils' and teacher activities were excellent, followed by classical completeness, reaching 100%. This action research concludes that CTL can improve pupils' CLA. This research recommends using CTL in the future to enhance pupils' CLA.
