This study aimed at developing communicative learning materials for teaching English as a foreign language to students of elementary teacher education study program of Flores University. The instruments used in this study were observation sheet, interview guide, scoring rubric, and questionnaire which were used to gather data during product’s development. This study used the research and development model proposed by Sugiyono (2009). The result shows that the developed communicative learning materials were relevant to the students’ needs. The learning materials which were designed in the form of a textbook were relevant to the students’ expertise and the developed materials which were used along with communicative activities were categorized as having good quality. The implementation of the communicative materials are effectively implemented in the classroom where the result of posttest mean score was 86 and pretest mean score was 75. The lecturers of English in this study program are suggested to use these present communicative learning materials and various activities in order to avoid the boredom of the students during teaching and learning process. The various activities used can help learners to enhance their English abilities in communication and the students’ improvements of English can be increased.

E-learning merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran yang digunakan selama pandemi covid-19. E-learning sangat penting bagi mahasiswa untuk mengakses materi yang disampaikan oleh dosen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap implementasi dari media E-learning selama learning from home. Deskriptif kualitatif merupakan metode dari peneliian ini dengan instrument penelitiannya adalah observasi dan wawancara Subjek dari peneliian ini mahasiswa semester 4 (empat) yang berjumlah 15 (lima belas) orang. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran E-learning yang diimplementasikan selama pembelajaran daring sangatlah bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan respon mahasiswa terhadap pertanyaan yang diberikan pada saat wawancara adalah seperti media pembelajaran E-learning sangat membantu selama proses pembelajaran daring, selain itu juga materi pembelajaran yang disampaikan dapat dipahami, dan dapat diakses tanpa batas waktu. Kesimpulan dari penelitan ini adalah media pembelajaran E-learning yang digunakan selama selama pandemic covid-19 sangat baik dan dapat membantu memperlancar proses pembelajaran serta menambah wawasan mahasiswa dalam pemanfatan IT.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang materi pembelajaran bilingual vocabulary berbasis budaya daerah yang digunakan,dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris pada mahasiswa program studi sejarah. Penelitian dan pengembangan atau R&D merupakan desain dari penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian berjumlah adalah mahasiswa berjumlah 15 (lima belas) orang . Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model Borg & Gall (1981) yang sudah disederhanakan yang terdiri dari 4 (empat) tahap yaitu need analysis, developing the product, validating it with the expert dan trying it out in the field. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah analisi dokumen, angket, wawancara, penilaian ahli dan tes, sedangkan instrumen penelitiannya adalah berupa angket, lembar penilaian ahli, wawancara, lembar observasi dan test. Ahli/pakar yang menjadi validator adalah ahli bahasa dan budaya yang ada pada daerah setempat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1) materi pembelajaran yang dikembangkan mendapatkan respon yang sangat baik dari dosen dan mahasiswa; 2) materi yang dikembangkan memperoleh validitas tinggi dari para ahli dengan skor pada interval 0.76 ≤ x ≤ 1.00 dan memenuhi criteria of good material dan 3) hasil belajar mahasiswa meningkat setelah materi diimplementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan mean pada pre-tesnya 71 sedangkan mean pada post-tes meningkat menjadi 77,5.

Virtual class or commonly referred to as online class is one form of learning media that uses the Internet specifically during the quarantine of covid-19. Quantitative descriptive analysis in this study examines the student’s perception of English Literature Study Program Universitas Flores about the use of the Edmodo platform in Effective Listening class at the time of Covid-19 quarantine. The number of samples in this study is 44 students of English Literature Study Program of Universitas Flores who have been taken Effective Listening class during the Covid-19 quarantine period. The result is that Edmodo platform used in Effective Listening class was positive. The average of 98% of English Literature Study Program Students of Flores University agreed to use Edmodo applications as learning media to learn Effective Listening Class at Covid-19 quarantine time since it is user-friendly. This is because Edmodo's interface looks like a Facebook as social media that students have known in their daily lives

Tujuan dari penelitian ini meliputi 1) untuk mengetahui implementasi pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya daerah Ngada pada siswa kelas III di SDI Turekisa; 2) untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas III SD Inpres Turekisa.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research), yakni suatu penelitian yang dilakukan untuk mengubah kondisi riil yang terjadi di masa sekarang ke kondisi yang diharapkan. Data-data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses penerapan pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya daerah Ngada dapat meningkatkan aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa kelas III SD Inpres Turekisa. Hasil penelitian lainnya adalah melalui penerapan pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya daerah Ngada dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas III SD Inpres Turekisa.. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada hasil tes berpikir kritis siswa pada siklus I terlihat bahwa hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa masih tergolong cukup kritis dengan presentasi 58,825. Sedangkan pada siklus II terlihat bahwa hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sudah mencapai kriteria sangat kritis dengan presentasi nilainya 83,23%.Implikasi dari penelitian ini bagi guru dan siswa adalah dengan pembelajaran matematika berbasis budaya daerah aktivitas guru dan siswa mengalami peningkatan. Selain itu juga melalui pembelajaran ini, siswa dapat mengenal lebih dalam tentang benda-benda adat, menghubungkan benda adat dengan materi matematika. Sedangkan untuk guru adalah mampu menciptakan alat peraga lain yang mirip dengan benda-benda adat dan menghubungkan benda adat dengan materi matematika.

Tourism is one of the important sectors as a source of regional income. The satisfaction of each tourist depends on the facilities and services provided. The purpose of this survey is to measure the satisfaction of tourists who come and visit tourist destinations in Labuan Bajo. This survey activity also measures the success of the West Manggarai Regional Government, all stakeholders and the community in maintaining the sustainability of tourism in Labuan Bajo, as well as being able to answer user needs based on user experience. This survey was conducted using the exit survey method, by interviewing as many tourists as possible who had visited Labuan Bajo and were going out through the existing airport in Labuan Bajo. Based on the results of research on the level of visitor satisfaction with services and facilities in several tourist destinations in Labuan Bajo are between 55.28% to 76.45% of tourists satisfied with the existing facilities and services. This research contributes to the government of West Manggarai Regency in increasing the number of tourist visits and the development of facilities and services for tourists for each tourist destination in West Manggarai. ABSTRAKBahasa Inggris merupakan bahasa pengantar yang digunakan untuk berkomunikasi diseluruh dunia. Pembelajaran bahasa Inggris untuk pemula (beginners) adalah hal yang harus dilakukan sehingga bisa dijadikan bekal untuk anak dimasa depan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pendampingan ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan bahasa Inggris sejak dini kepada anak-anak serta mampu meningkatkan motivasi serta rasa percaya diri anak-anak dalam menggunakan bahasa Inggris. Salah satu aktivitas yang dilakukan adalah kegiatan Fun with English yang merupakan a recommended activity to motivate kids in learning English dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang beragam sehingga anak-anak tidak merasa jenuh bahkan bosan dalam proses belajar seperti ceramah, Think Pair Share, games serta lagu-lagu berbahasa Inggris. Dari kegiatan ini anak-anak SEKAMI menjadi merasa percaya diri, pembelajaran yang diberikanpun sangat disenangi oleh anak-anak. Saran bagi pemerhati bahasa Inggris adalah untuk lebih meningkatkan kreativitas melalui berbagai macam cara untuk membumikan bahasa Inggris di bumi nusantara. Kata kunci: fun with English; SEKAMI. ABSTRACTEnglish language is a medium language which used to communicate in all over the world. English learning for the beginners is the important thing that have to do so that it can be supplied for their future. The aim of this activity was to introduce English as early as possible to children and could enhance their motivation and their confidence in using English. One of the activity is Fun with English activity that is a recommended activity to motivate children in learning English by implementing various learning methods in order that the children will never get bored and saturated during learning process. These activities such as lectures, Think Pair Share, games and also English songs. From this activity, the children of SEKAMI become have their self confidence, they felt happy with the materials are given by their teacher. The pandemic of covid 19 had big effects in educational field. The transition of learning process from face to face into online had many obstacles. Teachers, students and parents had their own problems to face it. Parents had to provide facilities to their child during online learning process but their economic factors were inadequate, such as buying android phone or data package. There were parents and teachers were not able to use the technology effectively and efficiently. It can be effect to the students. Students will left behind the materials and the assignments had given by their teachers. Door to door was an approach offered to avoid or to minimize that problems. The aim of that approach was teachers could share the materials, the assignment and guiding their students directly. Learning guidance could be the materials which were not understood and teaching them how to use android phone to access the materials shared through online learning. In order that, door to door approach which had implemented besides helped students to understand more the materials but also the students got learning guidance effectively about the way to utilize the learning technology. It was about the materials were shared online. In this case, teacher should actively guiding their students to use the technology in better way. Furthermore, the teacher will adding new knowledge, so they do not seems out of touch of information and blinded technology.

The problem raised in this study is how the level of Emotional Intelligence of SDI Onekore 06 students, how is the level of learning discipline of SDI Onekore 06 students and whether there is an effect of emotional intelligence on student learning discipline at SDI Onekore 06. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect Emotional intelligence on the learning disciplines of SDI Onekore 06 students. This study used correlational quantitative research, which was conducted at SDI Onekore 06, Ende Tengah District, Ende Regency. The sample of this research was students in grades V and VI, who were taken using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire. Hypothesis testing uses Simple Linear Regression analysis with the Pearson Product Moment Correlation formula. The results of this study indicate that the level of emotional intelligence tends to be high with an average of 94.5 and the level of discipline tends to be high with an average of 93.50. There is a significant influence between emotional intelligence on learning discipline. This can be seen from the results of statistical analysis which shows the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.419 which states that the correlation index (r) X to Y is sufficient with an effect of 17.6% and Sig = 0.014 at the significance level alpha ( = 0.05)

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengarahkan guru dan memberikan pendampingan saat guru melaksanakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan merampungkannya dalam artikel ilmiah yang terpublikasi. Metode pengabdian ini menggunakan pelatihan dengan tahapan yakni pendampingan dalam pembuatan proposal, membantu merancang kegiatan serta perangkat pembelajaran, pendampingan pelaksanaan PTK, hingga mempublikasikannya sebagai publikasi ilmiah pada jurnal nasional Ber ISSN. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian pendampingan ini menunjukkan bahwa bertambahnya wawasan dan motivasi para guru dalam pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas serta lebih memahami tahapan-tahapan dalam proses pelaksanaan PTK. Guru juga mampu menghasilkan Karya ilmiah hasil PTK serta publikasi pada jurnal nasional ber ISSN yang dapat digunakan sebagai syarat kenaikan jabatan fungsional. Kegiatan pengabdian pendampingan pelaksanaan PTK dan penulisan publikasi ilmiah mampu menjadi motivasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kompetensi guru.
