Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept that utilizes internet network connectivity for a unified system communication. Analysis conducted on the keyword "Internet of Things" by using Google Trends shows trends up from mid 2013 to 2020. IoT will be a part of human culture which is implemented in all sectors of life. The corona virus pandemic is like a blessing in disguise in terms of the adoption and intervention of technology in all settings of human life. This is because during the Covid-19 pandemic, technology was present to be a solution and provide efficiency. This paper was prepared with the aim of completing a study of the application and adoption of information technology, specifically the field of the Internet of Things (IoT) in adaptation to New Normal life. To achieve the goal, this paper is divided into 3 parts, namely the IoT concept and vision section, the existing IoT implementation section based on the physical setting or place and the IoT solution section for New Normal adaptation after the co-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that experts and government are able to react quickly and appropriately in implementing technology (especially IoT) in Indonesia. However, it is still ineffectiveness and inefficiency, because each government unit’s builds its own system. Next, Indonesian government needs to think about and do is to integrate the system. So, it will be able to produce an integrated information that can be used by all elements of operations in all government unit’s that need it.

Abstract

The Decision Support System (DSS) is implemented by CV. IKS assists the director as a Decision Maker in determining the location of housing developments. In the case of determining the location of the subsidized housing project that was carried out in 2020, the DSS developed with two methods, namely DSS1 with the AHP – WP method and DSS2 with the AHP – SAW method, gives different outputs. The purpose of this paper is to conduct a sensitivity test to determine the MADM method most suitable for completing the locating determination of subsidized housing projects in CV. IKS. The sensitivity test method was chosen because this method can detect every ranking change in each MADM method. The more sensitive the value obtained from the change in ranking suggests the MADM method is the best in displaying the order of the ranked alternatives. It can be seen from the sensitivity test results that the change value of the AHP-WP method is 3.178%, and the change value of the AHP-SAW method is -19.274%. It concluded that the AHP-WP method was considered to be the most relevant in addressing the problem of determining the location of housing developments in the CV. Abstract

UD. TGM is one of SMEs located in Blora, Central of Java. They can produce 60 – 150 pallets of paving block per hour. Based on observations and measurements, the noise level around production machines is above 90 dB and the temperature around UD. TGM reaches 34°C. Those conditions do not match with the regulatory standards by Ministry of Health of Republic Indonesia. In addition, based on NBM questionnaire, there were 10 complaints of very sick, 7 complaints of pain, and 7 complaints of moderate pain. The worker's cardiovascular load was 36.4% (or needed improvement). Based on the REBA assessment informed that a corrective action needs to be taken immediately. This study aims to analyze the work system totally and provide improvement recommendations. We proposed recommendations by total ergonomics approach collaborated with fishbone diagrams, tree diagrams, and PDPC diagrams. The recommendations were UD. TGM need to create a supervisory team, create work instructions, design additional of transportation tools like a hand stacker, replace dirt floors with paving, enlarge air ventilation holes and add roof height. Then, the evaluation of the recommendations by Catia software, the REBA score was reduced from level 3 to level 1 (or low risk).

Abstract

Identification of user needs and their conversion into product specifications is an important stage in the product design process. The large number of design methods currently available is a challenge for designers in choosing an effective and efficient design method. The aim of this literature review was to identify the use of product design methods between 2019-2023, mapped the effectiveness and efficiency of existing product design methods. Identification process used bibliometric analysis of articles in the SCOPUS database. VOSviewer software was used in the analysis process with co-occurence type and full-counting calculation methods. Effectiveness mapping was based on 7 criteria (E1 - E7) and efficiency based on 3 criteria (F1 - F3). The identification results show that the design methods that have been widely used in the last five years were value engineering, quality function deployment, user centered design, universal design, kansei engineering and TRIZ. The mapping results show that effective and efficient methods were QFD and value engineering. The effectiveness and efficiency of other methods were explained in more detail in this review.
