Abstract

The wavelet thresholding method is an approximation method by reducing noise, which is known as the denoising process. This denoising process will remove noise while closed the important information in the data. In this research, the wavelet thresholding method is used to approximate the nonlinear function. The data used for the simulation is a representation of several functions that represent several events that often occur in the real world, which consists of the types of functions Blocks, Bumps, Doppler, and HeaviSine.  Based on simulation results based on the indicator value of the Cross-Validation (CV), the best approximation of the nonlinear function using the wavelet thresholding method for the four simulation cases are: (i) the Blocks function is given by Haar wavelet with a soft of thresholding function and the 10-th resolution level ; (ii) the Doppler function is given on the 2-nd order of Symlets wavelet with a soft of thresholding function and the 10-th resolution level; (iii) the Bumps function is given on the 6-th order of Daubechies wavelet with a soft of thresholding function and the 10-th resolution level; and (iv) the HeaviSine function is given by the 3-rd order of Coiflet wavelet with a soft of thresholding function and the 7-th resolution level.

Abstract

This community service was conducted through Field Experience Practice (PPL) at PT. Optimis Sejahtera Bersama (OSB) with the aim of analyzing and implementing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to increase the visibility of the frozen food product business. The background of this activity was the company's suboptimal utilization of the digital market. The method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR) with direct practice on On-Page SEO optimization, such as keyword research, writing SEO-friendly content, and internal linking. The results showed that consistent application of SEO on content quality and website structure can improve rankings in search engines. However, there are still obstacles such as fierce competition, changes in Google algorithms, and poor User Experience (UX). This activity recommends periodic SEO audits and ongoing strategy adjustments so that PT. OSB can increase competitiveness, attract organic traffic, and achieve sustainable digital business growth.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi melalui penerapan model Genre Based Approach pada siswa kelas VII MTs Bunayya Islamic School Curup. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes menulis, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa. Pada pra tindakan, nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 65,00 dengan sebagian besar siswa belum mencapai KKM 75. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 73,75, namun ketuntasan belajar belum optimal. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 82,50 dan sebagian besar siswa telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Selain peningkatan hasil belajar, keaktifan dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran juga mengalami peningkatan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Genre Based Approach efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII MTs Bunayya Islamic School Curup. Kata kunci: keterampilan menulis, teks deskripsi, Genre Based Approach, penelitian tindakan kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis adanya relasi antara adat dan agama yang dilakukan secara Islam meskipun didaerah monoritas. Penelitian ini mengajukan pertanyaan bagaimana praktik integrasi antara adat Karo dan praktik keagamaan Islam dalam prosesi pemakaman di Desa Relokasi Siosar Simacem. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi lapangan, penelitian dimaksudkan mengeksplorasi adanya integrasi antara adat dan Islam, bahwa kedua sistem nilai tersebut berinteraksi dan beradaptasi satu sama lain dalam konteks pemakaman Masyarakat Karo. Temuan menunjukan bahwa Desa Relokasi Simacem adalah masyarakat yang mayoritas beragama Islam, namun adat istiadat Karo tetap menjadi bagian penting dari kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk dalam upacara kematian. Temuan menegaskan penelitian ini adanya sinergi yang harmonis antara adat dan Islam, di mana unsur-unsur adat Karo tidak ditinggalkan melainkan menjasi bentuk integrasi dengan praktik keagamaan Islam yang menciptakan prosesi pemakaman secara Islami dengan tidak meninggalkan peran adat Karo. Hal ini disebabkan karena otoritas pemangku adat yang lebih adaptif yang mementingkan nilai keharmonisan beragama. Dengan demikian integrasi ini menunjukkan fleksibilitas dan adaptasi masyarakat dalam mempertahankan identitas budaya mereka di tengah tantangan moderasi beragama di wilayah minoritas.

Abstract

In this digital era, technological developments are rapidly advancing and undoubtedly influencing various aspects of life. One such area is education. Driven by these rapid technological advancements, the education sector is required to adapt to technological progress in order to create a more effective and interactive learning process that engages students and meets the needs of the times. This study aims to conduct a literature review analysis on the use of augmented reality (AR) media. The method used in this study is a Systematic Literature Review of 20 articles, namely 10 national articles and 10 international articles from 2020 to 2025. The articles were selected according to the criteria to be analysed. The results show that augmented reality (AR)-based learning media has consistently proven to be feasible, practical, and effective in various subjects. Augmented reality (AR) can increase motivation, conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, numeracy literacy, interest in reading, and even student learning outcomes. Validation from subject matter experts, media experts, and users generally shows a rating of good to very feasible, with positive responses from both teachers and students. Thus, AR can be an innovative solution to make learning more interactive, interesting, and meaningful at various levels of education.
