Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik setelah memperoleh pembelajaran Group to Group Exchange berbantuan Quizizz. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh sampel 2 kelas disalah satu SMK di Bandung Barat. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan penalaran matematis. Hasil penelitian dan pengolahan data N-Gain, diperoleh bahwa rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik setelah memperoleh pembelajaran Group to Group Exchange berbantuan Quizizz adalah 0,70 dan rata rata N-Gain  pada pembelajaran konvensional adalah 0,50. Disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran Group to Group Exchange berbantuan Quizizz lebih baik daripada konvensional. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' mathematical reasoning abilities after receiving Group to Group Exchange assisted Quizizz learning. The used method is quasi-experimental design with The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample was taken by using the purposive sampling technique, to obtain a sample of 2 classes in one of the Vocational High Schools in West Bandung. The used instrument is test of mathematical reasoning ability. The results of research and processing of data N-Gain, it was found that the average increase in students' mathematical reasoning abilities after receiving Group to Group Exchange assisted Quizizz learning was 0.70 and the N-Gain average in conventional learning was 0.50. It was concluded that the improvement of students' mathematical reasoning abilities who received Group to Group Exchange assisted Quizizz learning was better than conventional.

Abstract

Dalam teori gelanggang dibahas sifat-sifat lapangan (field)  pada suatu sistem bilangan. Suatu gelanggang komutatif L disebut lapangan jika untuk setiap a∈L dan a≠0 terdapat a^(-1)∈L, sehingga aa^(-1)=a^(-1) a=1. Diantaranya adalah sifat lapangan pada sistem bilangan kompleks. Bilangan kompleks adalah bilangan yang berbentuk a + bi atau a + ib, a dan b bilangan real dan i^2= –1. Notasi bilangan kompleks dinyatakan dengan huruf C. Dapat dibuktikan bahwa bilangan kompleks memiliki sifat-sifat lapangan yang memenuhi 10 sifat,  yaitu sifat tertutup penjumlahan dan perkalian, komutatif penjumlahan dan perkalian, assosiatif penjumlahan dan perkalian, memiliki identitas penjumlahan dan perkalian, memiliki balikan (invers) penjumlahan dan balikan perkalian.

Abstract

Di abad ini, pendidikan menjadi lebih penting untuk memastikan siswa mendapatkan kreatifiatas maka dalam pengembangan kreatifitas secara umum maupun berpikir kreatif matematis pun menjadi penting. Namun, fakta dilapangan ditemukan kemampuan berpikir siswa masih kurang dan perlu ditingkatkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa setelah memperoleh pembelajaran JUCAMA (Pengajuan dan Pemecahan Masalah) serta perbedaan pencapaian kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis berdasarkan kategori PAM. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Non Equivalent Control Group Desain yang sampel nya diambil secara purposive sampling di salah satu sekolah Menengah Pertama di daerah Bandung. Dengan menggunakan instrumen tes PAM dan Tes Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif ini menghasilkan beberapa temuan, yaitu: terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran JUCAMA dengan model konvensional (Pembelajaran langsung), dengan rata-rata N-Gain kelas JUCAMA 0,16 > kelas konvensional 0,10. Model pembelajaran JUCAMA ini berbasis pemecahan dan pengajuan masalah karena keduanya mendorong berkembangnya kreatifitas sehingga mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Dapat disimpulkan setelah siswa memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran JUCAMA lebih baik dari pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: Berpikir Kreatif, JUCAMA, Pemecahan Masalah, Pengajuan MasalahIn this century, education is becoming more important to ensure students get creativity, so in general the development of creativity and mathematical creative thinking is also important. However, the facts in the field found that students' thinking skills were still lacking and needed to be improved. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the improvement of students' mathematical creative thinking skills after obtaining JUCAMA (Problem Submission and Solving) learning and the differences in the achievement of mathematical creative thinking abilities based on the PAM category. The research method used is a quasi experimental method with a Non Equivalent Control Group Design whose samples were taken by purposive sampling in one of the junior high schools in the Bandung area. Using the PAM test instrument and the Creative Thinking Ability Test resulted in several findings, namely: there are differences in the improvement of students' mathematical creative thinking skills using the JUCAMA learning model with the conventional model (Direct learning), with an average JUCAMA class N-Gain 0.16 > conventional class 0.10. This JUCAMA learning model is based on problem solving and proposing because both encourage the development of creativity so as to improve mathematical creative thinking skills. It can be concluded that after students get learning with the JUCAMA learning model, it is better than conventional learning.Keywords: Creative thinking skill, JUCAMA, Problem Based, Problem Posing

Abstract

AbstrakGuru Madrasah Aliah (MA) Persatuan Islam (PERSIS) mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami perhitungan matematika dalam ilmu Falak khususnya terait masalah dalam menentukan arah kiblat, sehingga sangat dibutuhkan suatu program yang dapat membantu pemahaman guru-guru tersebut. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung menyelenggarakan suatu program dengan tujuan mengatasi kesulitan guru-guru dalam memahami konsep-konsep matematika untuk menyelesaikan masalah Ilmu Falak di Madrasah Aliah PERSIS di Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah CBR (Community Based Research). Kegiatan PkM ini diikuti oleh 50 orang guru dan melibatkan steakholder yang ada di Pimpinan Pusat (PP) PERSIS. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan PkM dapat meningkatkan pemahaman matematis guru-guru MA PERSIS dalam menyelesaikan masalah terkait Ilmu Falak khususnya menentukan arah kiblat.AbstractTeachers of Madrasah Aliah (MA) PERSIS have difficulty in understanding mathematical calculations in Ilmu Falak, especially related to problems in determining the direction of Qibla, so it is needed a program that can help the understanding of these teachers. The Community Service Program of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung held a program with the aim of overcoming the difficulties of teachers in understanding mathematical concepts to solve the problem of Ilmu Falak in the Islamic School of PERSIS in West Java. The method used is CBR (Community Based Research). This PkM activity was attended by 50 teachers and involved steakholders in the Pimpinan Pusat (PP) PERSIS. Evaluation results show that Program can improve the mathematical understanding of MA PERSIS teachers in solving problems related to Ilmu Falak ,especially in determining the Qibla direction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang didukung dari hasil studi pendahuluan di salah satu SMP di Bandung. Salah satu alternatif untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa adalah dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa setelah memperoleh pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data yang diperoleh menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa tes dan non tes. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (a) Rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa (N-gain) setelah memperoleh pembelajaran matematika menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika adalah 0,76 dan rata-rata N-gain pada pembelajaran konvensional adalah 0,59; (b) rata-rata hasil posttest pada kelas berbasis etnomatematika dengan PAM kategori tiinggi sebesar 87,91, kategori sedang sebesar 84,15, dan kategori rendah sebesar 80,50 lebih baik dari rata-rata posttest kelas konvensional PAM kategori tinggi sebesar 74,88, kategori sedang sebesar 74,14, kategori rendah sebesar 70; (c) sikap siswa terhadap metode pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika memberikan sikap yang positif yaitu dari rata-rata skor sikap siswa lebih besar dibandingkan dengan skor netral. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan dan perbedaan pencapaian antara kelas berbasis etnomatematika dengan kelas konvensional.

Abstract

Online learning methodologies are the most influential factor in educational success. However, it cannot be denied that there are non-technical aspects that indirectly affect students' motivation and academic achievement after the Covid-19 pandemic occurred. This study involves paired t-tests, regression tests, and partial t-tests to analyze the factors that can indirectly shape student motivation and academic achievement in Indonesia's higher schools. The factors studied were related to economic condition, health, habits, and social interaction. The result shows significant changes in learning motivation, economic and health conditions, student interactions with friends and lecturers, student involvement in student activity units and religious activities, use of social media, and time spent reading. The Grade Point Accumulative (GPA) before the pandemic was influenced by learning motivation. However, during the pandemic, the GPA was not significantly affected by learning motivation. Before the pandemic, family engagement and student involvement in religious activities significantly influence the GPA. Meanwhile, the factors that influence learning motivation during the pandemic are student involvement in social activities, interaction with lecturers, health conditions, and time spent reading.

Abstract

Cognitive flexibility is the ability to think openly and be able to solve problems from different perspectives. People who have good cognitive flexibility will be able to learn faster, solve problems more creatively, and adapt and respond to new situations more effectively. This research method is a quantitative method of measuring the ability of cognitive flexibility as measured by questions that meet the indicators of cognitive flexibility with the object of research being the sixth semester student of one of the universities in the city of Bandung. The instrument consists of cognitive flexibility questions, theories about cognitive flexibility, and questionnaires. Processing of data by calculating the percentage of answering the questionnaire and scores of cognitive flexibility test scores in complex analysis courses. The results of the study showed that the ability to think openly, and many ideas and ideas about something was still low and the two abilities had a low correlation with lecture outcomes. So that the ability to think openly, and many ideas and ideas need to be improved so that students have an open mind and find new ideas in solving problems

Abstract

Tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran group resume dengan pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VIII salah satu sekolah di Cianjur. Metode penelitian yang dipilih yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan design penelitian yaitu nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrumen tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, lembar observsi dan lembar angket sikap siswa. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa: Keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran guru dan siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran group resume dengan pendekatan kontekstual berada pada kategori baik sekali; peningkatan kemampuan pemcahan masalah matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran group resume dengan pendekatan kontekstual lebih baik secara signifikan daripada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional; besar pengaruh model pembelajaran group resume dengan pendekatan kontekstual berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 73%; serta kebanyakan siswa memberikan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran group resume dengan pendekatan kontekstual.The purpose of this research was to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities using the group resume learning model with a contextual approach. This research was conducted in class VIII one of the schools in Cianjur. The research method chosen was quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The instruments used were problem solving ability test instruments, observation sheets and student attitude questionnaire sheets. The results of the study showed that: The implementation of the teacher and student learning process using the group resume learning model with a contextual approach was in the very good category; increasing the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who use the group resume learning model with a contextual approach is significantly better than students who use conventional learning models; the influence of the group resume learning model with a contextual approach is in the moderate category with a percentage of 73%; and most students give a positive attitude towards learning mathematics using the group resume learning model with a contextual approach.

Abstract

The researcher compiled this article with the aim of explaining the talking stick method in mathematics learning. The researcher chose the literature study method to compile this article. Researchers look for several sources that have been published by previous researchers, regarding the talking stick method in learning mathematics. The researcher used sources obtained from Google Scholars with a range of publication years between 2018-2022. After the sources were collected, the researcher summarized several parts that were included in this article. The result of this research is the talking stick method is a method that can can help teachers to achieve a learning goal. The talking stick method has the advantage of improving students’ abilities in various ways

Abstract

Deductive-axiomatic mathematical objects lead to low mathematical ability of students. Therefore, this study aims to examine students' mathematical contextual abstractive abilities. Case studies are used in this research using literature studies. The case in this study is the weak mathematical reflective ability of students who are used to find out the factors that cause the low mathematical reflective ability of students. The results showed that there was still a low ability to think abstractly and contextually mathematically because they were not used to the previous level and lack of experience
