This research aims to analyze mathematical problem solving skills in statistical material. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII MTS Al-Mubarokah with a sample of 30 people. Data collection techniques using student test results based on indicators of mathematical problem solving ability; 1) identify the adequacy of the problem; 2) planning problem solving; 3) selecting and implementing problem solving strategies; 4) verify the results of problem solving. Based on the results and discussion of the research, it shows that the difficulty of students in working on story-shaped questions occurs in the indicator of identifying the adequacy of the problem with an error percentage of 90% and occurs in the indicator of choosing and implementing problem solving strategies with an error percentage of 85% and the following data are included in the high category. The causative factors include; students do not understand the basic concepts of statistics, are not able to identify problems correctly and precisely, are not able to communicate problems with mathematical models.

This study aims to determine the difficulty analysis of social arithmetic material for junior high school students. During the Covid-19 pandemic, researchers wanted to know and analyze students' difficulties in solving problems in social arithmetic material. The data collection technique in this study, using the WhatsApp Group, the researcher gave 6 description test questions through the WhatsApp Group in the form of a PDF file, then the students collected the results of the answers to the WhatsApp Group or via personal messages. Furthermore, students' answers were analyzed to determine the extent of the difficulties that occurred in students according to predetermined indicators. The data analysis technique was carried out by counting the number of student errors in solving each item, then the errors were analyzed for difficulties. Research subjects in junior high school students amounted to 20 students. The results of the analysis obtained by the researcher, there are still many students who have difficulty working on the questions, it can be seen in the indicators of understanding, determining profits and the percentage of students' answer taxes is 30%. Some students also do not understand the meaning of the questions asked. From the answers that have been done, there are also many students who answer freely and have nothing to do with the material that has been conveyed.

Online learning during the pandemic makes students less understanding of mathematical concepts so that student learning outcomes decrease when learning is again carried out face-to-face. Therefore we need an approach that is able to make students understand mathematical concepts through meaningful experiences without depending on the teacher. Then the problem-based learning approach was chosen and carried out by means of group discussions.The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research conducted through three cycles whose cycle has 1 meeting. The subject of this research are 10 students of class XI TKRO 1 of SMK Karya Bhakti Pusdikpal Cimahi. The data was collected by using a test and then analyzed using percentage techniques with a limit of 85% reached the lower achievement criteria which is 75. The results showed that mathematics learning, could improve student mathematics learning outcome. The average value of the final test given in each cycle has increased. The average value of the final test of mathematics learning outcomes for student in cycle I was 75,6; in cycle II was 82, and in cycle III was 85,3. So it can be concluded that the use of the Problem-Based Learning approach can improve student learning outcomes.

This study is a action research. This study aims to see the improvement of student learning outcomes in mathematical logic material trough a contextual approach to class XI at SMK TI Garuda Nusantara Cimahi. This research was conducted in the academic year 2021-2022 with 15 students in this study. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, documentation and using test questions. The instrument that will be given to students is 5 test questions carried out in 2 cycles. The first cycle will carry out a pretest which means doing an initial test and a posttest which means a final test for students by being given an understanding of mathematical logic material using a contextual approach. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the following results were obtained: 1) learning outcomes in the initial test get a score of 7 students with an average (46.67%), 2) learning outcomes in the final test get an increase of 13 students with an average (86 ,66%), seen from this study most of the student learning outcomes have met the criteria for the KKM score. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that through acontextual approach can have a positive influence on learning outcomes carried out on in mathematical logic.

Pemecahan masalah diartikan sebagai metode pembelajaran yang dapat mengasah kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan suatu persoalan. Dalam proses penyelesaian soal dan pembelajaran, siswa menggunakan pengetahuan prasyarat yang didapatkan. Metode pemecahan masalah seperti yang dikatakan polya ada 4 langkah fase penyelesaian masalah, yaitu : (1) memahami masalah (2) menyusun rencana penyelesaian (3) melaksanakan rencana penyelesaian (4) memeriksa kembali hasil pengerjaannya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa SMP kelas IX pada materi bangun datar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas IX SMPN 1 Cihampelas dan Subjek penelitian adalah Kelas IX A dan tempat penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Cihampelas. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan siswa pada indikator 3 dan 4 masih tergolong rendah pada materi bangun datar. Data didapat dengan cara memberikan soal tes pemecahan masalah dengan tahapan memberikan soal tes, siswa mengisi soal tes dan memeriksa hasil tes.

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran Visual Basic Application (VBA) for Microsoft Powerpoint dan Excel pada materi peluang terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMP. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 23 siswa kelas VIII salah satu SMP di Kota Cimahi Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Pengambilan data diperoleh dengan metode tes untuk menentukan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang kemudian dianalisis ketercapaian dan kesulitan siswa pada setiap indikator yang menjadi dasar pengembangan media pembelajaran. Media kemudian diujicobakan kembali dalam pembelajaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh media pembelajaran Visual Basic Application (VBA) for Microsoft Powerpoint dan Excel dalam meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran siswa pada materi peluang, dan media tersebut dapat membantu guru saat menggunakan pendekatan Open-Ended sehingga pembelajaran di kelas lebih efektif, serta menciptakan pembelajaran peluang menjadi interaktif dan menyenangkan.

Dalam penelnitian ini penulis menganalisis tentang kesulitan siswa dalam proses pemecahan masalah serta untuk mengetahui tingkat kategori disposisi matematik pada tiap butir pernyataan. Berdasarkan analisis, kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa dalam mengerjakan soal pemecahan masalah matematik materi peluang dihasilkan dalam proses pencapaiandan kualifikasi dalam memahami masalah 48,75% (rendah), merencanakan penyelesaian 40% (rendah), menyelesaikan masalah 7,5% (sangat rendah), melakukan pengecekan 0% (sangat rendah). Instrumen soal yang digunakan adalah soal yang sudah diuji realibilitas, validitas, daya beda dan indeks kesukarannya juga telah divalidasi oleh validator ahli. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pencapaian indikator dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah serta mengetahui tingkat kategori disposisi matematik pada tiap butir pernyataan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan bahwa pencapaian indikator dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah belum tercapai sepenuhnya serta kemampuan disposisi siswa yang tergolong rendah

This study aims to understand and improve the thinking ability of vocational mathematics students with active Question Student Have. This research is an experimental study. To see the suitability of the implementation of learning with this strategy, validation was carried out on the observation sheet and the implementation plan of learning. The subjects of this study were class XI TKJ 2 Penida Vocational School 2 Katapang 2016/2017 academic year (35 students). This strategy is used to get hopes and problems in mathematics learning written on the question card. The instrument used is a matter of description. . Data in the implementation of the application through a sheet of activities and learning outcomes compiled at the end of learning, a tool used to process pretest and posttest data from the results of using a computer with Minitab 16 software. Using the application of mathematics Question Student Have Strategies Owned by Students. The results of the research conducted on the Application of Active Question Student Have to Vocational Critical Mathematical Thinking Ability of students concluded that "the mathematical thinking ability of Vocational students through active learning strategies type of Student Questions Ask better about what is considered for mathematics students who learn to use learning models conventional.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika materi segitiga dengan berbantuan aplikasi geogebra. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek yang digunakan dalm penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII sebanyak 25 orang siswa pada materi segitiga. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu skala motivasi belajar dengan 10 pernyataan yang memiliki tanggapan positif maupun tanggapan negatif. Pernyataan tersebut digunakan untuk mencari tanggapan dari responden terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi segitiga dengan berbantuan aplikasi geogebra. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa pada materi segitiga dengan berbantuan aplikasi geogebra berbantuan JavaScript menunjukkan hasil positif dengan respon perolehan rata-rata presentase 74,9% dan dikategorikan kuat. Rata-rata tersebut tersebut diperoleh oleh setiap indikator angket motivasi belajar yang telah diberikan kepada setiap responden.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi belajar siswa SD Negeri di Cianjur dimana siswa Sekolah Dasar mengalami kesulitan proses dalam operasi hitung bilangan bulat, disebabkan kurangnya penguasaan kemampuan pemahaman siswa tentang dasar-dasar konsep bilangan bulat dan operasi bilangan bulat sehingga siswa mampu mengembangkan aplikasi matematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu pada 25 siswa SD Negeri di Cianjur kelas VI. Instrumen yang diberikan berupa angket skala motivasi belajar siswa yang terdiri dari 20 pernyataan dan 4 pilihan jawaban. Angket motivasi belajar yang berhubungan dengan media ICT berbasis VBA for Excel terdiri dari 4 indikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa SD Negeri di Cianjur dengan menggunakan media ICT berbantuan VBA for Excel pada materi garis bilangan secara keseluruhan tergolong sangat baik dan terdapat 3 indikator yang masuk kriteria baik sekali yaitu untuk indikator Percaya diri dalam menggunakan matematika (sangat baik), indikator Flekibel dalam melakukan kerja matematika (sangat baik); indikator Kerelaan meninggalkan kewajiban atau tugas lain, (sangat baik). Terdapat 1 indikator yang masuk kriteria baik yaitu indikator Ketekunan dalam mengerjakan matematika (baik).
