Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan siswa kelas IX SMP di Bandung Barat dalam menyelesaikan soal pada materi statistika.Jenis penelitian inimerupakan penelitian deskriptif, dengan menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal pada materi statistika yang berpedoman pada indikator kesalahan menurut Kastolan.Penelitian dilakukan dengan memberikan tes tertulis dalam bentuk soal uraian yang berjumlah tujuh soal dan angket kuisioner kemudian dianalisis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulan bahwa analisis kesalahan yang di hadapi oleh siswa SMP pada materi statistika, berupa persentase data diperoleh Kesalahan Konseptual 37,1% dan Kesalahan Prosedural 35,9%. Adapun hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) siswa mengalami kesalahan konseptual, berupa kesalahan menentukan dan penggunaan rumus yang tidak sesuai serta tidak menuliskan rumus untuk menjawabsuatu masalah. (2) siswa mengalami hambatan dalam menyelesaikan soal karena lupa dengan formula atau rumus yang akan digunakan. Kata kunci: analisis kesalahan, statistika. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the errors in solving statistics problems of 9th grade students of junior high school. This is a descriptive research by analysing and describing the errorindicators in solving statistics problems according to Kastolan. The study was conducted by giving a questionnaire and written test in the form of a description containing seven questions.The study concludes that junior high school students’errors on statisticsproblems in the from of percentage error of the data obtained Conceptual Errors by 37.1% and Procedural Errors 35.9%. The results show that: (1) students have conceptual errors, such as errors defining and using formulas, (2) students get difficulties in solving problems because they forget the formula. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis kesulitan matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika terutama pada materi segitiga dan segiempat. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII SMP di Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes tulis berupa esai yang berjumlah 5 soal. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode analisis deskriptif, agar dapat mengetahui kesalahan dan kekeliruan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal. Pengolahan data dihitung kedalam bentuk rata-rata skor siswa yang diperoleh dengan analisis berdasarkan tahapan Van Hiele. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa ketercapaian siswa dalam memecahkan soal materi segiempat dan segitiga berdasarkan tahapan berpikir Van Hiele terbanyak berada pada tahap 1 (analisis) sebesar 87,87%. Ketercapaian berpikir pada tahapan Van Hiele yang baik baru mencapai tahapan visualisasi (tahap 0) sebesar 12,12%. Pada tahap 2 (deduksi informal) dan tahap 3 (deduksi) siswa belum mampu mencapai tahapan tersebut. Dengan demikian dapat dilihat bahwa tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi segiempat dan segitiga masih tergolong rendah sehingga terdapat kesulitan dan kendala bagi siswa dalam mengerjakan soal pada materi segiempat dan segitiga berdasarkan tahapan Van Hiele. Kata kunci: kesulitan siswa, segiempat dan segitiga, tahap berpikir Van Hiele. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to analyze student’s mathematical difficulties in solving mathematics problems, especially in quadrilateral and triangular material. The subject of this study were students of class VIII of Junior high school in Bandung. The instrument used were written tests in the form of essays consists of 5 questions. This research method uses descriptive analysis of students mistakes in solving problems. The data is analysis based on Van Hiele theory. The results of this study stated that the students' achievement in solving rectangular and triangle material problems based on Van Hiele's thinking stage was mostly in stage 1 (analysis) of 87.87%. The achievement of Van Hiele's good thinking stages has only reached the visualization stage (stage 0) of 12.12%. For stage 2 (informal deduction) and stage 3 (deduction) no student has been able to reach that stage. Thus it can be seen that the level of student understanding of rectangular and triangular material is still relatively low so that there is difficulty in solving students' problems on rectangular and triangular material based on Van Hiele's thinking stages. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the feasibility and practicality of scientific teaching materials assisted by scratch. This development research was conducted using the 4D method which was limited to the third step including the define, design, and development stages. At the feasibility and practicality test data analysis stage, data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The feasibility of teaching materials is analyzed based on the results of expert validation and the practicality of teaching materials based on the results of student answers.  The results of this study indicate that the teaching materials tested are feasible and practical as learning materials for students. This is based on the results of validation by experts on the practicality of teaching materials filled in by students. The results of expert validation resulted in an average score of 91.83% with a very valid category, which can be said to be suitable for use in the field. The results of the practicality questionnaire analysis show that teaching materials are considered practical by students with a percentage of 85% on a small scale and 87% on a wide scale with a very practical category. This can show that the scientific teaching materials for quadrilateral and triangle materials assisted by scratch are very good for use during the math learning process.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of mathematics understanding of junior high school students, with the aim of the study is to examine the achievement, improvement, implementation, and difficulty of mathematics understanding ability of junior high school students through learning using Geogebra-assisted scientific approach. The method of this research is an experimental method with two class groups namely experimental class and control class. The population of this research is all junior high school in West Bandung Regency, randomly selected and selected SMP Krida Utama Padalarang. Samples were taken randomly class VIII chosen D as an experimental class, and class VIII C as control class. The experimental level received learning with the Geogebra-assisted scientific approach, and the control class gained regular learning. The results showed that the achievement and improvement of the ability of mathematical understanding between students who received learning with scientific approach assisted Geogebra software better with students who get regular learning. Learning with Geogebra-assisted scientific approach can be implemented in the experimental class by the steps of the scientific method of observing, asking, exploring, associating, and communicating.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis merupakan kemampuan yang diperlukan dalam pembelajaran abad 21. Namun kenyataan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan  berpikir kritis masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan e-LKPD berbasis masalah berbantuan web live worksheet yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode  desain research (Development Research). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 33 siswa kelas X RPL SMK Wiraswasta. Kategori  kritis matematis sebanyak 5 soal, Teknik pengolahan data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data didapat bahwa e-LKPD yang dikembangkan termasuk sangat valid dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 88 %, dikategorikan sangat praktis dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 82 %  dan dikategorikan sangat efektif dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 86%.  Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-LKPD berbasis masalah berbantuan Web Liveworksheet dapat dikategorikan valid, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran Mathematical critical thinking skills are skills needed in 21st century learning. However, the reality in the field shows that critical thinking skills are still low. The purpose of this study was to develop a valid, practical and effective web live worksheet-assisted problem-based e-LKPD. The research method used was the design research method (Development Research). The subjects in this study were 33 students of class X RPL SMK Wiraswasta. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire in the form of a Likert attitude scale and 5 questions on mathematical critical thinking skills. Data processing techniques were carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the results of data processing, it was found that the e-LKPD developed was very valid with an average value of 88%, categorized as very practical with an average value of 82% and categorized as very effective with an average value of 86%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Web Liveworksheet-assisted problem-based e-LKPD can be categorized as valid, practical and effective for use in learning.
