Abstract

Electronic money has emerged as the payment method. It becomes more popular because it is convenient and ubiquitous. However, the popularity has caused new security threats for the the user of electronic money. Personal data and financial information are the main target of the threats. Individuals need to protect and have certain responsibilities regarding their personal data and financial information used for electronic money services. Technology alone is unable to prevent the threats. Human behavior also becomes crucial factor to protect people against the threats and plays essential role in safe guarding personal data and financial information. This study uses Protection Motivation Theory (PMT) as a theoretical framework to empirically test why people do precautionary behavior on electronic money transaction. PMT is a social-cognitive model to predict and explain prevention behavior. Empirical research is conducted using survey methodology and collecting data from 186 respondents using online forms. Partial Least Square structural equation modelling provides support for factors influencing protection motivation in electronic money context. The results provide support for the use of threat and coping appraisal, in particular perceived security vulnerabilities, perceived security threat and perceived response efficacy to influence precautionary behavior in the context of electronic money. Those results contributes to the design of user awareness programs using NIST Special Publication 800-50. The awareness programs aimed at precaution behavior, thereby empowering electronic money user to protect themselves

Abstract

PTIPD is an IT support at UIN Malang, responsible for information technology. Have the vision to apply and develop information technology to realize a university as Cyber Campus and Cyber Community and mission which is to provide services to the academic community in the utilization of Information Technology. One of the information system services that play an important role is SIAKAD. So far the services of SIAKAD have not fully met the criteria from vision and mission made by PTIPD. Technical related problems often happen repeatedly and the job description is not organized. The problems above more or less shows that the quality and performance from SIAKAD service has not met the standard to support the vision and mission of PTIPD. The researcher used work method which is CMMI-SVC related to capability measurement, related to technical problem and Service Level Agreement (SLA) design based on ITIL V3 framework and FMEA method in weighing the value of SLA elements. The first thing to do is mapping the criteria and CMMI-SVC’s processes area, and then measured the capability level of the selected process area, after that is design of the SLA used ITIL V3 best practices and SLA's weight calculations used FMEA method. The result of the capability level shows level 0, which is the basic thing that must be met to reach level 1 is the existence of SLA. This thesis produced a design of Service Level Agreement document

Abstract

The level of business competition of an organization at this time is increasingly high. This is caused by economic factors and the presence of new competitors. Many organizations do not have the ability to deal with these conditions. Management of innovation and improvement that is limited by time, cost and quality are referred to as project management. Many methods, techniques, and tools have been developed, covering all aspects of project management from start to finish. If project management practices are implemented correctly, it allows for increased efficiency and productivity. In this study, how project management is implemented by evaluating the use of project management tools and effectiveness in supporting projects that run in the organization of PT. XYZ. This is done by distributing questionnaires to 30 respondents involved in the project that was carried out in 2018 to the present. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and inferencing using SPSS used to determine the use of tools and project management techniques. Results in this study project management tools and techniques most often used by PT XYZ are progress reports, activity lists, and project charter. From the position positional factors and managed project costs factors are have significant value that affects the use of project management tools and techniques at PT XYZ in Indonesia
