Abstract

The low student learning outcomes of SDN Sukamakmur Bogor District based on the analysis conducted because teachers still use the traditional approach, marked by still dominant activity while students are only as listeners and recipients of information. students only listen to the teacher's explanation and take notes or summarize the important things from the material presented. Therefore it is necessary to strive for the use of media and appropriate in the learning process, an interesting atmosphere so that students are more active in learning so that students' learning activities and outcomes increase. The approach applied to the Community Service Program is a model of empowerment through mentoring with the following steps: 1) Preparation Phase; 2) Assessment Phase; 3) Alternative Planning Phase of Programs or Activities; 4) Formulation Phase of the Action Plan; 5) Stage of Implementation (Implementation) of the Program or Activity; 6) Evaluation Phase; and 7) Termination Phase. This Community Service is carried out as an empowerment of elementary school teachers in the District of Sukamakmur, Bogor Regency, producing Photo Media that meets theoretically feasible criteria; meet the proper criteria in terms of format, content and appearance; have high applicability or are worthy of learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the correlation between the blended learning or achievement motivation and learning achievement. Taking place in Open Junior Secondary School, Tanjung Priuk, affiliated to State Junior Secondary School, No. 55, Tanjung Priuk, the research was conducted as from May through June 2010. The research used survey method with statistical approach and the research focus are (a) the correlation between blended learning and learning achievement, (b) the correlation between achievement motivation and learning achievement, and (c) the correlation between both of blended learning and achievement motivation and learning achievement simultanously. The research proved (a) the positive correlation between blended learning and learning achievement, (b) the positive correlation between achievement motivation and learning avhievement, and (c) the positive correlation between both of blended learning and achievement motivation and learning achievement simultanously. In addition to the findings, the research also provided some suggestions related to instructional process

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the differences in learning achievement in English between the students who receives Block Grant and who don’t. This study was conducted in 2005 at Jakarta Public Senior Highschools which received Block Grant Welfare Program and Jakarta Public Senior Highschools which didn’t receive Block Grant Welfare Program in 2003, located in East, Central, and North Jakarta. This study used Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) with additional approach Tuckey Test at á=0,05, and used expost facto and a 2x2 factorial design. The result of hypotheses testing shows that: first, in overall, there is a significant difference found between English achievement of student who received Block Grant and who didn’t receive Block Grant. Second, there is an interaction between enteryng behaviors and Block Grant Welfare Program to the students’ achievement in English.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of a multi-media IPS learning package for class VIII students at MTSN 24 Jakarta. The research methodology uses the R & D method. The product testing phase begins with the validation of several experts namely material experts, media experts and instructional design experts. With the acquisition of an average material expert of 3.63 media experts an average of 3.26 and an instructional design expert on average 3.68 means that the multi-media IPS learning package is feasible to use. Furthermore, the product was tested for the number of class VIII students with thetest one to one as many as 3 students obtained an overall average score of 3.82. In conclusion, the social studies learning package developed has been very good and feasible for use in the social studies learning process.

Abstract

The main problem faced by elementary school teachers in SukamakmurSub district, Bogor Regency, to be able to apply learning with thematic approaches is the low quality of Lesson Plan used by teachers, so that an effort is needed to design, develop, utilize and evaluate Lesson Plan thematic  forElemtary School Teachers in Sub district Bogor Regency, West Java in a Community Service program. Through community service activities, solutions will be offered for the problems formulated above. The approach offered for the realization of the Community Service program is an empowerment model with the following steps: 1) Preparation Phase; 2) Assessment Phase; 3) Planning or Alternative Program Planning Phase; 4) Formulation Phase of the Action Plan; 5) Implementation Phase (Implementation) Program or Activity; 6) Evaluation Phase; and 7) Termination Phase. The implementation of the Community Service program was indeed carried out as an effort to empower elementary school teachers in SukamakmurSub district, Bogor Regency through training and mentoring activities for the development of Lesson Plan thematic-based which resulted in thematic-based RPPs that met theoretically feasible criteria; meet the eligible criteria in terms of format, content and appearance; have high applied or appropriate in learning. The evaluation was carried out on the community service activities of the Education Technology Study Program of the Faculty of Education, Jakarta State University, to see the extent of the increase in knowledge and skills of educators (Elemtary School teachers) in designing, developing, utilizing and evaluating Lesson Plan thematic-based.

Abstract

Technological developments make the current learning process student-centered. The use of technology-based learning media is expected to increase the limitations of existing learning resources. Open and Distance Learning System courses are subjects with a broad scope, while face-to-face time is very limited. Therefore independent study materials are needed so that students can study independently wherever and whenever.This study aims to produce appropriate online module development procedures, produce online learning materials for Open and Distance Learning Systems courses, and obtain data on the feasibility and effectiveness of online modules developed for use in lectures in Open and Distance Learning Systems. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). The development design used is the Derek Rowntree development model and Web-Based Design. Derek Rowntree's development model is used specifically to develop the material, while the Web-Based Design development model is for the online module development process. The feasibility of the online module of the Open and Distance Learning System is obtained based on the results of expert validation consisting of three experts namely 1) material experts, 2) learning design experts, 3) media experts. The results of the validation of the expert stated that the online module of the Open and Distance Learning System was rated GOOD. Then a field trial with the results of the Open and Distance Learning System online module is considered feasible to use. The results of the t-test showed that there were significant differences so that the online module of the Open and Distance Learning System was said to be effective and able to improve the quality of learning. Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi menjadikan proses pembelajaran saat ini berpusat kepada siswa. Penggunaan media pembelajaran bebasis teknologi diharapkan mampu meningkatkan keterbatasan sumber belajar yang ada. Mata kuliah Sistem Belajar Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh merupakan mata kuliah dengan cakupan yang luas, sementara waktu tatap muka sangat terbatas. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan bahan belajar mandiri agar mahasiswa dapat belajar secara mandiri di manapun dan kapanpun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan prosedur pengembangan modul online yang layak, menghasilkan bahan belajar online mata kuliah Sistem Belajar Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh, serta memperoleh data kelayakan dan kefektifan modul online yang dikembangkan untuk digunakan pada perkuliahan Sistem Belajar Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Desain pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Derek Rwontree dan Web Based Desain. Model pengembangan Derek Rwontree digunakan khusus mengembangkan materi, sedangkan model pengembangan Web Based Desain untuk proses pengembangan modul onlinenya. Kelayakan modul online Sistem Belajar Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh diperoleh berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli yang terdiri atas tiga ahli yaitu 1) ahli materi, 2) ahli desain pembelajaran, 3) ahli media. Hasil validasi ahli menyatakan modul online Sistem Belajar Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh dinilai BAIK. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji coba lapangan dengan hasil modul online Sistem Belajar Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh dinilai layak untuk digunakan. Hasil uji -t menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sehingga modul online Sistem Belajar Terbuka dan Jarak Jauh dikatakan efektif dan mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Abstract

Teknologi Pendidikan merupakan program tertua di Pasca Sarjana UNJ. Sebagai salah satu program Pasca Sarjana hendaknya dapat menghasilkan atau meluluskan Master dan Doktor yang mampu menerapkan, mengembangkan dan menciptakan serta mengkaji berbagai model dan media pembelajaran untuk memecahkan masalah belajar manusia. Kegiatan penerapan, pengembangan dan penciptaan tersebut hendaknya selalau berorienrasi pada konsepsi teknologi pendidikan sebagai suatu ilmu yang berdiri sendiri dan selalu mengacu pada landasan falsafah teknologi pendidikan itu sendiri. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penyelengaraan jaringan sekolah, terutama dalam tahapan penyediaan, pelayanan, dan pembinaan jaringan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) terhadap pakar dan praktisi yang telah menyelenggarakan jaringan sekolah. Hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa faktor pendukung aspek penyediaan jaringan adalah SDM yang terstruktur dengan tugas, fungsi dan tanggung jawab yang jelas; dan adanya berbagai alternatif aplikasi web server open source. Faktor penghambatnya adalah: kurang dukungan pengambil kebijakan seperti pimpinan, kurang kerjasama pihak terkait, penyedia jasa internet dan lain-lain. Dalam aspek pelayanan faktor pendukung adalah content, kemudahan akses, registrasi, discount pulsa internet, jaminan keamanan, tidak adanya tagihan, dan lain-lain. Situs yang berbasis teks, user friendly, fasilitas link, FAQ, download, helpdesk, space, dan promosi langsung kepada user untuk menjaga loyalitasnya. Faktor penghambat adalah belum tersedianya fasilitas search engine content yang memadai dan menyulitkan provider untuk promosi; kurangnya insentif bagi user, kesinambungan pelayanan, e-mail gratis, dan target yang akan dicapai.

Abstract

Perluasan kesempatan memperoleh pendidikan dan peningkatan mutu dan relevansi pendidikan merupakan dua permasalahan dalam pembangunan pendidikan di Indonesia. Di sisi lain perkembangan IPTEK telah meciptakan globalisasi dalam berbagai sector yang perlu diwaspadai oleh bangsa Indonesia. Untuk mengatasi berbagai masalah tersebut perlu dikembangkan dan diniati dengan sungguh-sungguh melalui upaya yang inovatif dalam mengaplikasikan berbagai perkembangan IPTEK dalam mengoperasionalkan pendidikan dan pembelajaran. Untuk itu, sudah saatnya untuk mengembangkan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi (ICT) khususnya internet untuk pembelajaran terutama pada sistem pendidikan terbuka dan jarak jauh di Indonesia. Memanfaatkan berbagai macam dan jenis sumber belajar baik berupa modul cetak dan non cetak yang berbasis ICT, memungkinkan perluasan kesempatan belajar yang bermutu bagi penduduk Indonesia yang berusia sekolah dan berkeinginan melanjutkan kembali pendidikan pada perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris antara siswa yang memperoleh Block Grant dan yang tidak memperoleh Block Grant. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada SMA Negeri Jakarta yang mendapat Block Grant Kecakapan Hidup dan SMA Negeri Jakarta yang tidak mendapat Block Grant Kecakapan Hidup tahun 2003, yang terdapat di wilayah Jakarta Timur, Pusat dan Utara. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dengan uji lanjut Tukey pada α = 0,05. Penelitian ini jenis expo facto dan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian faktorial 2x2.Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, secara keseluruhan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar bahasa Inggris siswa yang memperoleh Block Grant dengan yang tidak memperoleh Block Grant. Kedua, terdapat interaksi antara pemberian dana bantuan Block Grant dan kemampuan awal terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Inggris siswa
