Abstract

Program ini bertujuan memberikan keterampilan pada masyarakat Desa Limbang Jaya II untuk mengolah tumbuhan enceng gondok menjadi biobriket sebagai energi altrnatif. Bentuk kegiatan berupa pelatihan kepada masyarakat di Desa Limbang Jaya II dengan melibatkan dosen, mahasiswa dan masyarakat. Sasaran utama kegiatan ini yakni para pemuda dan ibu rumah tangga. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan tahapan dimulai dari sosialisasi dan pelaksanaan pelatihan dengan bentuk penyampaian materi, diskusi dan praktik pembuatan biobriket. Tahap implementasi dilakukan dengan tahap pembukaan dan pengenalan sosialisasi, tahap praktik bersama pembuatan biobriket, tahap refleksi pelatihan atau evaluasi. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 15 orang, hasil kegiatan ini berdampak positif pada peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pembuatan biobriket eceng gondok serta peningkatan keterampilan. Setelah kegiatan ini diharapkan masyarakat setempat dapat mengolah secara mandiri pembuatan biobriket, sehingga dapat berdampak pada pendapatan dan penghasilan masyarakat desa Limbang Jaya II. Kata Kunci: Biobriket, Enceng Gondok, Bahan Bakar Alternatif

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada masyarakat Desa Perangai Kabupaten Lahat terkait budidaya ikan dan sayuran dengan sistem akuaponik. Bentuk kegiatan berupa pelatihan kepada masyarakat di Desa Perangai dengan melibatkan dosen, mahasiswa dan masyarakat. Sasaran utama kegiatan ini yakni kelompok PKK, kelompok pemuda dan masyarakat umum. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan tahapan dimulai dari penyampaian materi, pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pendampingan melalui praktik langsung pembuatan akuponik serta evaluasi. Tahap implementasi dilakukan dengan tahap pembukaan oleh pihak Desa dan tim pelaksana, penyuluhan, tahap praktik bersama pembuatan akuaponik dengan media ember dan tahap evaluasi. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 30 orang, hasil kegiatan ini berdampak positif pada peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang budidaya ikan dan sayuran dengan sistem akuaponik untuk memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah penduduk setempat dengan ditunjukkan hasil evaluasi sebelum kegiatan sebesar 35,2% peserta mengetahui meningkat menjadi 77,4% setelah kegiatan. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan masyarakat setempat dapat mengolah secara mandiri pembuatan akauponik sedernaha dengan media ember, sehingga dapat berdampak pada pendapatan dan penghasilan masyarakat desa Perangai Kabupaten Lahat.Kata Kunci: pemberdayaan masyarakat, pelatihan, budidaya, akuaponik

Abstract

This study aims to develop an educational pocketbook as a community learning medium for managing wood house production waste in Tanjung Batu Seberang village and to determine its validity and practically. The method used in this study was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects included the community of Tanjung Batu Seberang village who work as wood house craftsmen and expert validators. Data were collected through validation questionnaires and user response questionnaires, which were analyzed using a rating scale. The validation results showed that the developed pocketbook achieved a very good level of validity in terms of material (83%), media (93%), and language (95%). The practicality test results at the one to one and small group stages showed a percentage of 100%, categorized as very practical. The educational pocketbook was considered easy to use, attractive, and effective in improving community understanding of managing and utilizing wood house production waste. Therefore, the developed educational pocketbook is feasible to be used as a community learning medium.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problems of songket weaver regeneration in Muara Penimbung Ulu Village, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. Regeneration is important in maintaining the sustainability of weaving skills as part of preserving local culture, but the involvement of the younger generation is still low. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with a purposive sampling technique involving 8 informants. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the regeneration of songket weavers faces social, economic, and policy barriers. Social barriers include low interest from the younger generation and low environmental support. Economic barriers are related to low income and the attractiveness of weaving. Policy barriers are evident in the limitations and suboptimal implementation of programs. Government efforts through training have been carried out, but participation from the younger generation is still limited. The conclusion of this study indicates that the regeneration process of songket weavers has not been running optimally. Synergy is needed between the government, the community, and educational institutions to increase interest from the younger generation and strengthen the sustainability of weaving culture.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in poverty alleviation in Sukajadi Village, Prabumulih City. The research method used is quantitative with an associative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 77 respondents and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results show that the effectiveness of the Family Hope Program has a positive and significant effect on poverty alleviation, with a regression coefficient of 0.501 and a t-value of 6.533 > t-table 1.992 with a significance of 0.001 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination of 36.3% indicates that PKH has a considerable contribution in reducing poverty, particularly in meeting basic needs, improving access to education, and health services. However, there are still challenges such as dependency among some beneficiary families. Therefore, it is recommended that the program implementation focus more on improving economic independence through community empowerment and strengthening assistance quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze community perceptions of the role of the Karang Taruna organization in Tanjung Dayang Selatan Village. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The population consists of 1,575 community members, with a sample of 94 respondents selected using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. The results showed that community perception of the role of Karang Taruna is in the very good category with a percentage of 83.81%. This finding is reflected in four main indicators, namely organizational function, activity benefits, program performance, and activity relevance, all of which are categorized as very good. Karang Taruna has been able to strengthen social interaction, increase youth participation, and provide real benefits to the community. However, several aspects still need improvement, particularly in increasing public understanding of organizational functions, aligning activities with community needs, and improving program planning. Therefore, Karang Taruna is expected to enhance program innovation and community-based planning to achieve more optimal and sustainable organizational performance.
