How Accessible the University Websites in Indonesia for People with Disabilities? Fitri Dwi Arini

Abstract

Website in higher education utilized for many purposes such as providing learning resources, information, and news related to student's academic needs. For this purpose, university websites must be accessible for all users including students with disabilities. This article describes a study conducted to evaluate the accessibility of university websites for people with disabilities in Indonesia. The accessibility evaluation focused on compliance with the most recent international standards provides by The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) called WCAG 2.0. A quantitative research would be utilized in this study using website accessibility online evaluation tools namely, Achecker. This study comprises the analysis of accessibility of 20 websites from top-ranked universities in Indonesia based on webometrics ranking. The result of this study showed that 95% of the university websites examined carried problems in conformity with WCAG 2.0 Level AAA.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini dilandasi oleh rendahnya kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan pembelajaran berbasis STEM bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah untuk dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis STEM untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 40 orang guru sekolah dasar di gugus 1 Kecamatan IV Koto Kabupaten Agam. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan memberikan pelatihan tentang proses pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan pembelajaran berbasis STEM. Hasil kegiatan ini mendapatkan skor kemampuan guru menggunakan LMS sebesar 87,89, kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar digital sebesar 86,93, kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan penilaian berbasis teknologi sebesar 83,49, kemampuan guru dalam merancang proses pembelajaran STEM sebesar 85,79, kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis STEM sebesar 87,98 dan kemampuan guru dalam melakukan penilaian pembelajaran berbasis STEM sebesar 88,98. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa guru telah mampu mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan pembelajaran berbasis STEM. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagi referensi dalam mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kemampuan guru

Abstract

There is a unique stratification within the fishermen's society; the highest position is held by the owner of the ship, the middle position is tungganai (guardian), and the lowers is the crew (labor fishermen) and traditional fishermen. Poverty is on the lowers end. They struggle with difficulty to go out of their poverty. In terms of motivation, poor fishermen work hard to have a better life. However, their condition and situation do not give them a chance to escape poverty. This research uses an anthropological and cultural approach, concentrating on studying the understanding of morality and behavior of the fishermen community in Koto Tangah District, Padang City. The fishermen's community sees that the traditional work system in the research area has never made them live affluently. They are like digging a hole and live to close to the gap. They see this system as only benefiting the landlord because of the unfair resource distribution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya perhatian orang tua pada anaknya, interaksi anak dengan orang tua yang kurang, orang tua terlalu tegas pada anaknya dan penerapan pola asuh orang tua yang kurang tepat bagi anak usia dini. Tujuan dari kegiatan penelitian guna mengetahui gambaran pola asuh otoriter orang tua, gambaran kontrol diri anak usia dini, dan hubungan pola asuh otoriter orang tua dengan kontrol diri anak usia dini. Penelitian dilakukan secara pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Populasi penelitian yaitu 43 orang tua anak usia dini. Sementara sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling sejumlah 30 orang tua anak usia dini. Instrumen penelitian dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data memakai rumus persentase serta product moment.Hasil Penelitian menujukan: (1) Pola asuh otoriter orang tua anak usia dini tergolong kurang baik; (2) Kontrol diri anak usia dini tergolong kurang baik, dan; (3) Terdapatnya hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh otoriter orang tua dengan kontrol diri anak usia dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang optimalnya sebagian besar warga belajar dalam pemahaman tajwid serta warga belajar terlihat bosan dan mengantuk di saat proses pembelajaran dan masih banyak warga belajar yang mendapatkan nilai dibawah KKM. Tujuan penelitian ini guna mengetahui gambaran dan juga hubungan antara Self Regulated Learning Terhadap Pemahaman Tajwid Warga belajar TPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini yakni 40 warga belajar. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini dilakukan dengan simple random sampling, jadi total sampel yang peneliti ambil yakni 30 orang warga belajar. Hasil penelitian ini yakni : 1.) Self regulated learning warga belajar tergolong rendah, 2.) Pemahaman tajwid warga belajar dalam mengikuti proses belajar di TPA masih tergolong rendah dan 3.) Terdapatnya hubungan yang signifikan antara hubungan self regulated learning terhadap pemahaman tajwid warga belajar TPA. .

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is to investigate the impact of learning habits and social support on the learning climate of Package C learners at PKBM Delima Bandara, located in Padang Pariaman Regency. Employing a quantitative explanatory research approach, the study utilizes multiple regression analysis techniques. The population consists of all Package C students at PKBM Delima Bandara, totaling 77 individuals, with a sample size of 43 chosen through simple random sampling. The instrument is using questionnaires. The findings indicate that both learning habits and social support, both individually and collectively, have a positive and statistically significant influence on the learning climate of Package C. This suggests that improved learning habits and access to social support positively contribute to the creation of a conducive learning environment at PKBM Delima Bandara. Hence, it is recommended that learners focus on developing effective learning habits and leverage available social support networks to enhance the overall learning climate. Keywords: learning habits, social support, learning climate, package C

Abstract

Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) is one of the institutions that organize non-formal education, which focuses on training skills that are efficient and effective. In organizing training, this institution has policies in its implementation. The role of BLK is as a place to improve the quality of the workforce, and provide training to hone skills to the workforce both dropping out of school and to people who need this training, this training activity is very useful in efforts to increase the potential and expertise of the workforce. The success of the training attended at the vocational training center can be seen from the learning outcomes of the participants. The participants who are interested in learning will pay attention and participate in their participation in the training. This research is quantitative research with a type of correlational method. obtained Based on the learning outcomes of the trainees at the BLK Dharmasraya Regency, categorized as moderate, this can be seen from the percentage value of the correct answers there are as many as 50%, where the value is 50%. The suitability of job placement of trainees at BLK Dharmasraya Regency is categorized as inappropriate

Abstract

Abstract. One important component in supporting children with special needs (ABK) in improving their Activity of Daily Living (ADL) skills is assistive technology. Teachers' skills in designing and modifying assistive technology must be improved so that teachers can use assistive technology according to the needs of ABK.  The purpose of this activity is to equip the principals of SLB Limapuluh Kota Regency in selecting and choosing assistive technology for children with special needs. The activity is packaged in the form of a workshop held in July 2024. The workshop implementation activities will be held in July 2024. The target audience for the service activities of the workshop on selecting assistive technology to improve the ADL skills of children with special needs are school principals throughout the Limapuluh Kota Regency. The problem found is that SLBN teachers in Limapuluh Kota Regency do not yet have the skills to select or sort assistive technology that suits the characteristics of children with special needs. The activity scenario consists of three steps. The first step, the participants are introduced to assistive technology at various levels. Second, participants work independently to conduct needs assessments and create follow-up plans related to the use of assistive technology in their respective schools. And the third step is presenting the results of assistive technology designs for ADL skills. Through this workshop, participants have the skills to conduct needs assessments and create follow-up plans related to assistive technology according to the characteristics of ABK.   Abstrak. Salah satu komponen penting dalam mendukung anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan Activity of Daily Living (ADL) adalah teknologi asistif. Keterampilan guru untuk merancang dan memodifikasi teknologi asistif harus ditingkatkan agar guru-guru bisa menggunakan teknologi asistif sesuai dengan kebutuhan ABK. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk membekali kepala sekolah SLB Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota dalam memilih dan memiliah teknologi asistif bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus. Kegiatan dikemas dalam bentuk workshop yang diselenggarakan pada bulan Juli 2024. Sasaran dalam kegiatan pengabdian workshop pemilihan dan pemilahan teknologi asistif bagi peningkatan keterampilan activity of daily living (ADL) anak berkebutuhan khusus adalah kepala sekolah se Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Permasalahan yang ditemukan bahwa guru-guru SLBN Se Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota belum memiliki keterampilan dalam  memilih atau memilah teknologi asistif yang sesuai dengan karakteristik anak berkebutuhan khusus. Skenario kegiatan terdiri dari tiga langkah. Langkah pertama peserta dikenalkan dengan teknologi asistif dari beragam level. Tahap kedua peserta bekerja mandiri melakukan need assessment dan membuat rancangan tindak lanjut terkait penggunaan teknologi asistif di sekolah masing-masing. mengumpulkan materi. Disini peserta diberikan waktu untuk mengumpulkan materi yang dibutuhkan berdasarkan kegiatan pelatihan yang diikuti pada pertemuan pertama, sekaligus membuat rancangan teknologi asistif. Dan langkah ketiga menyampaikan simulasi hasil rancangan teknologi asistif bagi keterampilan activity of daily living (ADL). Melalui workshop ini, peserta mempunyai keterampilan untuk melakukan need assessment dan membuat rancangan tindak lanjut terkait teknologi asistif sesuai dengan karakteristik ABK. Berdsarkan hasil penilaian, 80% peserta sudah berhasil mempbuat rancangan kebutuhan Teknonologi ADL dengan baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil hasil belajar peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di TPA Al-Ikhlas Kecamatan Koto Tangah Kota Padang. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Populasi penelitian yaitu 65 peserta didik yang belajar di TPA Al-Ikhlas Kecamatan Koto Tangah Kota Padang. Sementara sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling berjumlah 40 peserta didik mengikuti pelajaran di TPA Al-Ikhlas Kecamatan Koto Tangah. Instrumen penelitian dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data memakai rumus persentase dan product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara lingkungan keluarga dengan hasil belajar peserta didik di TPA Al-Ikhlas Kecamatan Koto Tangah Kota Padang.
