Abstract

This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach where the researcher searches and collects resources in the form of informationand data about the use of museums as a source of historical learning, which inturn provides descriptive data in the form of words, writing of objects observedby researchers. The data used in this study comes from sources, places (museum buildings and collections) and documents. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation and document analysis. In this study, researchers used source triangle measurement by searching data through more than one informant related to the use of the museum's role as a source of historical learning. The results showed that the museum can motivate students and make students easy in the learning history process. The visit to the museum is something that deserves to be considered as a source of visual learning forstudents. A visit to the history object is expected to change the assumption thatstudents studying history are not boring and satiating, but something interestingand fun. On the basis of the findings in the field of SMA Negeri 5 Depok, the useof the museum as a learning source is indeed not yet optimal, due to variousfactors such as the lack of broad socialization to schools and the limited reach ofthe museum, which is an obstacle to National Awakening Museum in an effort tomake the museum as a means to study history.Keywords: learning materials, students, museums

Abstract

The aim of this article was developing learning material for Civic Engagement Education based on ecological and cultural wisdom. The object of the study was the Central Sangga Buana Karang farmer community. The theoretical approaches that are considered relevant are those that are anthropological, ecological, and biological in nature. The results of the study show that Jakarta, apart from being the center of the economy, politics-bureaucracy, education and culture, as well as the center for the development of science and technology, is generally also the center of urbanization from various motives and backgrounds (migration). As a result of migration and population development that is not in line with geographical conditions, environmental and demographic management are to be separate problems that cannot be resolved by DKI Jakarta Government. For instance, the rampant illegal settlements have caused damage and pollution to the environment. However, in the South Jakarta area, especially in the Pesanggrahan Karang Tengah River watershed, there was a protected urban forest area that has been successfully managed by Sangga Buana volunteers using an ecological and cultural wisdom approach. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of business education at the As-Sa’adah Vocational School, East Jakarta. Business education at this school is the main focus to understand how the material is taught, the teaching methods used, and its impact on students’ interest and involvement in the world of business carried out by the As-Sa’adah Vocational School. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through interviews with students in grades X, XI, and XII and alumni of As-Sa’adah Vocational High School, East Jakarta, selected randomly with 10 individuals from each cohort. The results show that entrepreneurship education at As-Sa’adah Vocational High School provides positive contributions and can cultivate entrepreneurial tendencies among students, especially after graduating from As-Sa’adah Vocational High School. The implication of this research is the need for increased support and resources to support the effective implementation of business education at As-Sa’adah Vocational High School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran IPA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh bimbingan orang tua dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif non ekperiemental, dengan menggunakan teknik sensus/sampling total pengumpulan data mengenai bimbingan orang tua menggunakan kuesioner dengan jumlah sample sebanyak 31 Responden. terdapat dua variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu variabel bimbingan orang tua (X) dan variabel hasil belajar (Y) Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian ini yaitu analisis regresi sederhana. hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara bimbingan orang tua terhadap hasil belajar hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan Thitung > Ttabel yaitu 7,711 > 2,045 sedangkan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan hal itu dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa bimbingan orang tua mempunyai pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari karena kurangnya keaktifan belajar peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran IPAS tentang transformasi energi, banyak hal yang mengalihkan fokus peserta didik dalam belajar hal itu menyebabkan pembelajaran yang tidak optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis media games interaktif wordwall terhadap keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar pada muatan IPAS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain quasi experimental design tipe post-test only control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam pengkajian ini adalah sampling jenuh dengan jumlah sampel 27 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 28 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa post-test menggunakan soal tes pilihan ganda dan essay, angket dengan 15 pernyataan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media games interaktif wordwall bernilai baik dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik, pembelajaran menggunakan media wordwall lebih unggul dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional atau tanpa perlakuan media. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapatnya pengaruh keaktifan belajar peserta didik melalui media pembelajaran interaktif Wordwall kelas IV sekolah dasar pada muatan IPAS.

Abstract

     THE USE OF ALPHA LIPOIC ACID AS TAU PROTEIN DEGENERATION INHIBITOR ON PREVENCE CHRONIC TRAUMATIC ENCEPHALOPATHYABSTRACTIntroduction: Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) is progressive neurodegenerative syndrome caused by repeated blunt object injury affects the head. This condition results in degeneration of tau, a protein that can help stabilize and support certain structures in brain’s cells, including internal transport system of the brain’s cell. Repeated injuries cause the degeneration of tau proteins that proteins misfold and change their form and then become free radicals cause neuron death. Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is one of the antioxidant can bind free radicals and regenerate antioxidant vitamin C, vitamin E, and coenzyme Q10.Aim: To exam the effectiveness of alpha lipoic acid to inhibit the degeneration of tau protein in immunohistochemistry experimental animals’s brain.Methods: Experimental study in vivo of CTE model in rat by dropped 245g load on the head at 35cm height. 28 rats were randomly assigned to 7 groups; normal group without treatment, negative control group is given NaCl 0.9% 1.5mL, positive control group is given citicholine 6.75mg, group A is given ALA 1.0125mg, group B is given ALA 2.025mg, group C is given ALA 4.05mg, group D is given ALA 8.1mg and received 30 days CTE treatment. Experiment was conducted in May 2017 at Medical Faculty University of Jember. Tau protein degeneration were scored immunohistochemically.Results: Group D showed the closest to normal, while group A showed most tau protein degeneration (190.25±26.89) compared to normal group (53.25±43.39). Group D also showed lower tau protein score compared to positive control significantly.Discussion: Alpha lipoic acid is able to inhibit the progression of tau protein degeneration on immunohistochemistry staining of animal’s brains in CTE model.Keyword: Alpha lipoic acid, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, tau proteinABSTRAKPendahuluan: Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) adalah sindrom neurodegeneratif progresif akibat cedera berulang benda tumpul yang mengenai kepala. Cedera berulang tersebut menyebabkan degenerasi protein tau, yaitu protein yang dapat membantu menstabilkan dan mendukung struktur tertentu dalam sel otak, termasuk sel dari sistem transportasi internal. Akibatnya, protein tau gagal melipat dan mengubah bentuk, sehingga menjadi radikal bebas yang dapat menye- babkan kematian neuron. Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) adalah salah satu senyawa antioksidan yang mampu mengikat radikal bebas dan meregenerasi antioksidan vitamin C, vitamin E, dan koenzim Q 10.Tujuan: Mengetahui efektivitas pemberian alpha lipoic acid dalam menghambat progresivitas degenerasi protein tau pada gambaran imunohistokimia otak hewan coba.Metode: Studi eksperimental in vivo model CTE pada tikus dengan dijatuhi beban 245g di kepala pada ketinggian35cm. Terdapat 28 tikus yang dibagi menjadi 7 kelompok, yaitu: kelompok normal tanpa perlakuan, kelompok kontrol (-) diberikan NaCl 1,5mL, kontrol (+) diberikan sitikolin 6,75mg, kelompok A diberikan ALA 1,0125mg, kelompok B diberi- kan ALA 2,025mg, kelompok C diberikan ALA 4,05mg, serta kelompok D diberikan ALA 8,1mg dan mendapat perlakuan CTE selama 30 hari. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2017 di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Jember. Pemeriksaan skor degenerasi protein tau berdasarkan gambaran imunohistokimia.Hasil: Kelompok D dengan dosis tertinggi 8,1mg merupakan gambaran degenerasi protein tau paling sedikit mendekati normal, sedangkan kelompok A dengan dosis terendah 1,0125mg merupakan gambaran degenerasi protein tau paling banyak (190,25±26,89), jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok normal (53,25±43,39). Demikian pula kelompok D dengan kontrol positif menunjukkan skor degenerasi protein tau kelompok D lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan kontrol positif secara bermakna.Diskusi: Pemberian ALA dosis tinggi mampu menghambat progresivitas degenerasi protein tau pada gambaran imunohistokimia otak hewan coba yang mengalami cedera kepala berulang.Kata kunci: Alpha lipoic acid, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, protein tau

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum aims to produce students to have three competencies: attitude, knowledge and skills.  Competence of attitude is divided into two, namely spiritual and social. Competence of social attitude is done during the learning process and assessment. But not on all subjects, the process and attitude assessment is done by the teacher. Assessment of attitudes in primary schools is done by classroom teachers, teachers of religious instruction lessons, PJOK, and extracurricular coaches. Social attitude is an integral part of social thinking because attitude is the fruit of thought. Learning Superflex® is a model developed in 2008 in the United States and in this research is adapted to help address issues related to social attitudes. This research uses descriptive analysis method. Some of the data is taken from the results of research that the author did and still runs until this year. The data is collaborated with the data obtained from the literature to produce this study. The conclusion of this study that innovative learning model depends on the creativity of teachers in generating motivation learners. The Superflex® learning model can be an inspiration for teachers as one of the innovative learning models that can build students' social attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the selection of candidates for Government Employees with Employment Agreements (PPPK) in the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government in 2023 and identify the factors that are obstacles in the selection process. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, using the theoretical framework of van Meter and van Horn to examine the stages and factors of policy implementation. Data was collected through interviews, documentation, and direct observation on the implementation of PPPK selection. Data analysis is carried out by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and interactive conclusions/verifications until data saturation is achieved. The results of the study show that the implementation of PPPK selection includes several stages ranging from planning to appointment, but there are obstacles such as differences in perception of the definition of the former THK-II, low graduation rate (40%), less effective communication, and lack of involvement of external supervisors. Data analysis revealed that inconsistent information and lack of socialization led to applicant unpreparedness, which resulted in a spike in registrations at the end of the time resulting in technical glitches on the server. In addition, economic, social, and political conditions are not paid much attention, especially in providing space for people's aspirations. All of these obstacles show the need to improve communication, supervision, and public participation so that the implementation of the PPPK selection policy can run more optimally

Abstract

History is a science that has many meanings for everyone. In learning history aims to foster a sense of nationalism and pride in one's homeland. The purpose of the study is to explain the narrative of Indonesian-centric historiography in historical novels in Indonesia. This study follows the historical research procedure with the stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. This study shows that history has a method, namely systematic principles and rules designed to help collect historical source materials efficiently, disseminate or critically examine these sources, and present conclusions in written form to increase historical awareness. Historical awareness can emerge in various ways, for example by getting to know local history, joining a history community to find historical sources, or reading historical novels. Historical novels can broaden readers' horizons about history because they also include stories, interpretations, and experiences of the author. As a result, reading history is more enjoyable for readers.

Abstract

KKN-Dik activities are a form of activity that supports students' ability to socialize. Because students have the task of education, research and service. This KKN activity is one of the student's tasks to serve the community. In the community, it becomes a laboratory for students, because all the learning processes obtained on campus can be implemented in the community so that they can help and develop in the village. Historical insight is one of the important things to know the history of the nation and the country. In addition, reading literacy is also a major component to form a superior young generation. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to provide assistance with insight into Indonesian history and reading literacy in order to form a good character and identity as well as an embedded sense of nationalism. The method used is the guidance and delivery of material carried out by students to the children of Mekarsari Village. As a result of this community service, the children of Mekarsari Village have understood and understood the events of Indonesian history and began to be interested in continuing to read.
