Abstract

An open-ended problem in learning mathematics is a problem with more than one answer or method of solving. In solving open-ended problems in learning mathematics, one of the abilities students must use is decision-making ability. Each student has a variety of capacities, so this study aims to determine students' decision-making abilities in solving open-ended problems in learning mathematics. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were four students with different numbers of correct answers in working on open-ended problems. Data collection was carried out using tests and interviews. The results showed that (1) the decision-making ability of the subject who answers correctly for both problems is complete because they fulfill all indicators, the subject can identify goals, make decisions, evaluate the results of determination, and present and remember between problems with things known to the problem and related to decisions that have been taken correctly; (2) decision-making ability for subjects with wrong answers on one number or two numbers is incomplete because they only fulfilled two indicators, the subject can identify goals, make decisions, is less able to evaluate decision results and present and remember between problems with things known to the problem, and related to decisions that have been taken with correct. Mathematics teachers should often reinforce students to practice operating integers because it is a prerequisite for learning mathematics at the middle and high school levels.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kecerdasan emosional dalam pemecahan masalah matematika oleh siswa kelas XI Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK CENDEKIA Madiun. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan dua subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI Multimedia SMK CENDEKIA Madiun. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan wawancara berbasis tugas. Teknik keabsahan data dengan triangulasi waktu, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi, penyajian dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa (baik laki-laki maupun perempuan) dalam pemecahan masalah matematika memiliki keuletan, optimisme, motivasi, dan antusiasme dalam memahami, menyusun, dan melaksanakan pemecahan masalah. Siswa perempuan memiliki keuletan, optimisme, motivasi, dan antusiasme dan laki-laki memiliki keuletan, optimisme, dan motivasi dalam memeriksa kembali hasil pemecahan masalah. Dengan demikian siswa laki-laki dalam memeriksa kembali tidak memiliki antusiasme.

Abstract

Mathematics is seen as learning material needed to solve problems in life. Learning mathematics can improve students' ability to think logically. Logical thinking means a child's ability to think rationally, by utilizing logical abilities, so that they can think logically. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. This research to describe the ability to think logically in solving mathematical problems in high school students. The subjects of this research were three students, namely students with high, medium and low problem solving abilities from class XI-J of SMAN 6 Madiun for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research instrument consists of test questions and interview guidelines. The results of research show that in solving mathematical problems: high ability subjects show the characteristics of logical thinking ability, able to think coherently, can provide arguments in each step of problem solving, able to provide appropriate conclusions; moderately capable subjects show characteristics of logical thinking ability, able to think coherently, able to provide arguments in each step of problem solving, able to provide conclusions but are not precise; Low ability subjects show characteristics of logical thinking ability, able to think coherently, unable to provide arguments in each step of problem solving, unable to provide conclusions.

Abstract

Mathematics is closely related to every dimension of life. Mathematics requires reasoning in examining abstract structures and understanding the relationship patterns within them. Reasoning is influenced and honed through individual resilience in facing difficulties to obtain a solution or what is called the adversity quotient. This research aims to describe the mathematical reasoning profile of class XI SMAN 6 Madiun tahun pelajaran 2023-2024 topic fungsi akar in terms of adversity quotient. So this type of research is descriptive qualitative with research subjects of 3 students representing each AQ group, namely climber, camper and quiter. The instruments for this research are questionnaires, mathematical reasoning tests, and interview guides. The research results showed that the climber subjects were able to fulfill all indicators of mathematical reasoning, namely making conjectures, presenting mathematical statements through writing/orally, carrying out mathematical manipulations and drawing conclusions/generalizing. The camper subject only met 2 indicators, namely proposing conjectures and presenting mathematical statements in writing/orally, the subject carried out mathematical manipulations but could not operate them correctly and did not write down conclusions from the solutions obtained. Quiiter subjects only fulfill 2 indicators, namely proposing conjectures and presenting mathematical statements through writing/orally, subjects are unable to find relevant material concepts in finding solutions to complex problems and only write conclusions from solutions to simple problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan media video pembelajaran interaktif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada materi mencari keliling bangun datar di SDN 1 Wonoketro, kelas III, tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 siswa kelas III yang dipilih secara acak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan soal pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar mereka. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan uji-t berpasangan untuk membandingkan skor pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar matematika siswa setelah menggunakan media video pembelajaran interaktif. Rata-rata skor posttest (M = 80,5, SD = 7,2) secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan skor pretest (M = 65,2, SD = 6,9); t(29) = 9,78, p < 0,001. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media video pembelajaran interaktif efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam mencari keliling bangun datar.

Abstract

The low mathematical literacy is influenced by internal student factors. One that influences is the cognitive style of students. This study aims to describe students' mathematical literacy abilities with field-independent (FI) and field-dependent (FD) cognitive styles on linear program materials.  This research is qualitative.  The subjects of this study were class X MM PKM students of SMK Cendekia Madiun for the 2021/2022 Academic Year, as 16 students. The data were analyzed descriptively.  To group students using GEFT questionnaires and data collection techniques using a test for describing mathematical literacy skills and using interviews.   The result of this study is that students with a Field Independent (FI) cognitive style master the following aspects of literacy ability:  communication skills, mathematical abilities, representation abilities, reasoning and argument skills, problem-solving strategy skills, ability to use language and symbol operations, formal and technical.  Meanwhile, students with a Field Dependent (FD) cognitive style master the following aspects of literacy: communication skills, mathematical skills, representation abilities, problem-solving strategy skills, ability to use language and symbol operations, formal and technical. This research is limited only by 2 students. In the future, it is necessary to conduct research involving more students with different materials.

Abstract

Setelah dilakukan observasi dengan calon mitra di kelompok usaha kue kering dan catering Desa Sumberejo, Kabupaten Magetan serta dilakukan pengamatan secara langsung di lokasi pembuatan kue dan catering terdapat permasalahan, yaitu belum adanya cara atau metode pencatatan laporan keuangan sederhana dan promosi yang lebih baik untuk dapat lebih berkembang. Dalam melakukan pencatatan laporan keuangan masih manual mencatat pemasukan dan pengeluaran, sedangkan pemasaran kue dan catering masih tergantung pada pemesanan yang tidak menentu karena disebabkan ketidaktahuan konsumen tentang kue dan catering tersebut. Kelompok usaha kue kering dan catering Desa Sumberejo, Kabupaten Magetan dapat melakukan pencatatan atas pelaporan keuangan sederhana dan melakukan pemasaran melalui media online atau e-commerce. Pemberian materi melalui pengenalan pencatatan laporan keuangan sederhana dan pemasaran melalui media online atau e-commerce di kelompok usaha kue kering dan catering Desa Sumberejo, Kabupaten Magetan. Mengenalkan laporan keuangan sederhana dalam pencatatan keuangan. Mengenalkan internet sebagai media baru dalam berkomunikasi. Mengenalkan digital marketing dan e- commerce. Hasil kegiatan ini kelompok usaha kue dan catering sangat antusias dengan adanya kegiatan abdimas Universitas PGRI Madiun. Kelompok usaha kue dan catering mengerti tentang pencatatan laporan keuangan dan cara pemasaran secara online. Dengan adanya permasalahan mitra, tim abdimas Universitas PGRI Madiun memberikan penyuluhan tentang pencatatan laporan keuangan sederhana dan pemasaran secara online. Kata Kunci: Laporan Keuangan, Media Sosial, Pemasaran, Pencatata.

Abstract

In the era of digitalization, developing village officials requires human resources who can adapt to technology. This is closely related to the demand generated by the Covid-19 pandemic, where all activities are conducted online and physical gatherings are prohibited. This is necessary to ensure that village officials' skills continuously improve and they become proficient in operating electronic devices, particularly computers. The training is intended to equip all village officials in Kerik sub-district Takeran Magetan district with the skills to manage village data administration using statistical data and create infographics, based on the service requirements. The primary goals of this training are managing village archive data, financial management, and population statistics. This training delivers both theoretical and practical components. Hence, the Mathematics Education Study Program at PGRI Madiun University organised a training session at Kerik Village Office, Takeran District. This session aimed to train Village Officials in processing village data administration using Google Spreadsheet with a focus on Love Statistics (CANTIK concept). This training session utilises Google Spreadsheet to teach basic operational skills with the help of descriptive statistics. The training covers five parts that include an introductory session on Google Spreadsheet, Ribbon parts and functions, data management, data analysis, and data printing. The training session was carried out smoothly, and its success was measured by the enthusiasm of the participants during the training, as well as the post-activity evaluation and monitoring. The participants are now competent in managing the village office data properly as they work.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 34 siswa pada kelas X SMKN 2 Madiun. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-test dan post-test, serta melalui angket respon siswa terhadap E-LKPD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan E-LKPD berbasis RME secara signifikan meningkatkan literasi numerasi siswa. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan respon positif terhadap penggunaan E-LKPD dalam proses pembelajaran. E-LKPD berbasis RME yang dihasilkan memenuhi kriteria valid dengan rata-rata persentase diperoleh dari ahli materi dan ahli media yaitu sebesar 100%, kemudian hasil keefektifan dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 77,21%, kepraktisan dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 85%. Dengan demikian, E-LKPD berbasis RME dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi numerasi siswa.
