Abstract

The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia in 2020 is 31.7% of the population aged 18 years and over. Around 80% of people with hypertension are classified as essential hypertension. Blood pressure in hypertensive sufferers can be lowered pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. Pharmacological reduction can be done by taking drugs recommended to lower blood pressure. Non-pharmacologically, you can reduce blood pressure by modifying your lifestyle and consuming medicinal plants. Medicinal plants can be used as alternative medicines for the prevention and control of hypertension which do not have side effects, are cheap and easy to obtain because they can be cultivated yourself. The aim of this community service is to provide education about the benefits of medicinal plants for first aid for minor health problems through traditional medicine which has the potential to treat and prevent hypertension. The service method carried out consists of two stages, namely counseling and planting traditional medicinal plants. This activity was attended by 20 participants. From the results of the evaluation and discussion, participants enthusiastically asked about herbs around their homes and people were willing to plant herbs in their yards.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low reading comprehension skills and reading motivation of students in learning Indonesian reading comprehension skills in elementary school. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Reading Workshop Learning Model on reading comprehension skills and reading motivation of fourth grade students of SDIT Al-Fityan School Gowa, Gowa Regency. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all 4th grade students of SDIT Al-Fityan School Gowa, totaling 112 students. Purposive sampling is used to determine the sample to be studied with sampling criteria based on certain considerations. The sample selected was class IV.C as the control class with 28 students and class IV. D as the experimental class with 28 students. Data collection techniques through test instruments and questionnaires. Data analysis of test results to determine students' motivation and reading comprehension skills were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, through independent sample T-test and Manova test which showed that students' reading comprehension skills got an average pretest score of 76.11 and an average pretest score of 76.11. average posttest 89.54. The results of the independent sample T-test are Tcount = 5.562 Ttable 1.674 and the value of sig. ie 0.000 0.05. The results of students' reading motivation obtained a value of Tcount 5.648 Ttable 1.674, the value of sig. 0.000 0.05. Manova test results = 0.000 0.05, which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected,

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan peran guru dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa melalui kegiatan pembiasaan di sekolah dasar. Disiplin merupakan karakter dasar yang harus ditanamkan sejak dini guna membentuk pribadi yang bertanggung jawab, tertib, dan patuh terhadap aturan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kedisiplinan melalui pembiasaan rutin, keteladanan, pemberian penghargaan, dan sanksi edukatif. Meskipun terdapat kendala seperti latar belakang siswa yang beragam dan rendahnya kesadaran disiplin, guru mengatasi hal tersebut melalui pendekatan kolaboratif dan berkelanjutan bersama orang tua. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembiasaan yang dilakukan guru secara konsisten sangat efektif dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak pola asuh orang tua terhadap perilaku sosial anak di sekolah dasar. Tiga tipe pola asuh yang dianalisis meliputi otoriter, permisif, dan demokratis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara guru dan orang tua, observasi perilaku siswa, serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh demokratis berkontribusi positif terhadap perkembangan sosial anak, sedangkan pola otoriter dan permisif cenderung memberikan dampak negatif. Sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam menyeimbangkan pengaruh pola asuh melalui program pembentukan karakter dan kerja sama dengan orang tua.
