Abstract

Pemrosesan paralel merupakan salahsatu upaya agar beban komputasi dapatdilakukan oleh beberapa sumber daya secarabersamaan. Salah satu masalah yang bisadilakukan secara bersamaan adalah prosespencarian. Shannon Type-A merupakanpencarian brute-force yang melihat seluruhkemungkinan dengan kedalaman yangbervariasi. Dengan adanya pemrosesan paralel,pencarian brute-force ini dapat dilakukan secarabersamaan dan mempersingkat waktupencarian. Perancangan perangkat lunak inimenggunakan bahasa pemrograman C danOpen MPI yang terhubung dengan clusterBeowulf sebagai sistem pemrosesan paralel.Pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkanproses yang berjalan pada 1 komputer dengan 4komputer dan dengan kedalaman yang berbeda.Dari hasil pengujian, saat menggunakan 2komputer slave dengan 2, 4, dan 6 depth,peningkatan kecepatannya sebesar 0,998, 3,307,dan 0,762. Saat menggunakan 4 komputer slavedengan 2, 4, dan 6 depth, peningkatankecepatannya sebesar 1,151, 3,180, dan 0,799.Kata Kunci – Program Catur, PemrosesanParalel, Cluster Beowulf, Shannon Type-A,Minimax.

Abstract

Kontes Robot Pemadam Api Indonesia(KRPAI) merupakan ajang perlombaan robotika nasionalyang terdiri atas dua divisi yaitu Divisi Beroda dan DivisiBerkaki. Salah satu masalah yang sering dihadapi dalamperlombaan divisi berkaki adalah pergerakan untukmenyusuri arena dalam lomba. Tugas akhir ini merancangdan mengimplementasikan inverse kinematic sebagai sistempergerakan pada robot berkaki. Pada perhitungan inversekinemtic akan dihasilkan sudut untuk masing-masing motorservo, agar robot dapat berjalan sesuai degan yangdiharapkan. Pola langkah digunakan untuk mengatur bagiandari kaki robot mana yang harus diangkat terlebih dahuludan untuk kaki lain digeser. Dengan perhitungan inversekinematic dapat diketahui rata-rata kesalahan gerak majuantara 3 cm hingga 30 cm yang dihasilkan 0,6 cm dengankesalahan terbesar 2 cm pada jarak tempuh 30 cm. hasilgerak maju untuk 244 cm atau jalur terpanjang dalam lombamenunjukkan rata-rata kesalahan pembacaan sudut sebesar2,54o dengan kesalahan terbesar 3,51o.Kata Kunci : KRPAI divisi berkaki, inverse kinematic,pola langkah.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSistem kamera keamanan merupakan sistem yang penting dalam mengurangi jumlah tindak kejahatan terutama tindak pencurian. Namun pada umumnya kamera keamanan bersifat pasif yangmemerlukan manusia sebagai pihak pengawas. Dengan pentingnya kamera keamanan, maka diinginkan sistem tersebut untuk lebih andal dan praktis dalam artian mampu bekerja secara independen tanpa memanfaatkan pihak manusia sebagai agen pengawas. Dengan mengaplikasikan fitur deteksi objek manusia pada kamera keamanan, peran pihak manusia sebagai pengawas berpotensi dapat digantikan. Untuk memanfaatkan potensi tersebut, maka telah didesain sistem kamera keamanan berbasis mikrokontroler yang dilengkapi dengan sistem deteksi objek manusia dengan model deep neural network yang dieksekusi dengan framework TensorFlow Lite Micro.Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, eksekusi model deep learning untuk deteksi objek manusia padamikrokontroler dapat dilakukan. Kinerja pada model terbaik dapat mencapai tingkat akurasi 76%,puncak konsumsi RAM sebesar 55.3 KB, berkas binary hasil compiling berukuran 293600 bytes(7.17% dari total memori flash ESP32), dan waktu inferensi selama 5.2 detik. Namun model yangdiaplikasikan pada sistem yang telah dibuat gagal mendeteksi objek manusia dengan akurasi yangdiharapkan dengan tilt pada kamera sebesar 30 derajat ke bawah pada ketinggian 3 m, maupunketika objek manusia tersebut tidak sedang berdiri atau berjalan secara tegak.Kata Kunci: Deteksi objek, Deep Learning, ESP32, MobileNet, CNN, TensorFlow Lite MicroABSTRACTSecurity camera system is an important system for decreasing criminal act, esepecially theft.However, in general, security cameras are passive, requiring humans as supervisors. With theimportance of security cameras, it is desirable for the system to be more reliable and practical inthe sense of being able to work independently without using humans as monitoring agents. Byapplying the human object detection feature on security cameras, the role of the human side as asupervisor can potentially be replaced. To take advantage of this potential, a microcontroller-based security camera system has been designed that is equipped with a human object detectionsystem with a deep neural network model that is executed with the TensorFlow Lite Microframework. Based on the test results, the execution of a deep learning model for detecting humanobjects on the microcontroller can be carried out. The performance on the best model can reach76% accuracy, 55.3 KB of peak RAM consumption, 293600 bytes of compiled binary file (7.17% ofthe total ESP32 flash memory), and 5.2 seconds of inference time. However, the model applied tothe system that has been made fails to detect human objects with the expected accuracy with a tiltof the camera by 30 degrees down at a height of 3 m, or when the human object is not standing orwalking upright.Keywords: Object detection, Deep Learning, ESP32, MobileNet, CNN, TensorFlow Lite Micro

Abstract

Kompetisi Muatan Roket Indonesia tingkat perguruan tinggi (KOMURINDO) merupakan suatu ajang kompetisi yang diselenggarakan Dirjen DIKTI bekerjasama dengan LAPAN setiap setahun sekali dengan tujuan memupuk rasa cinta teknologi dirgantara. Di kompetisi ini seluruh mahasiswa universitas di Indonesia berlomba membuat muatan roket dengan tema berbeda setiap tahunnya. Tema KOMURINDO 2012 adalah attitude monitoring and surveillance payload artinya roket mampu melakukan penginderaan dinamik, mengambil dan mengirim data surveillance berupa foto melalui udara. Penelitian ini membahas attitude monitoring berupa sudut orientasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat suatu alat untuk memantau sudut orientasi muatan roket. Sistem ini terdiri atas 3-axis gyroscope L3G4200D, mikrokontroler, serial konverter dan komputer . Sistem melakukan pembacaan sinyal dengan waktu sampling 20ms. Data keluaran modul sensor 3 axis gyroscope L3G4200D berupa data mentah kecepatan sudut. Data tersebut harus diolah terlebih dahulu menjadi data s tipe data float kemudian dikirimkan ke komputer. Pengujian menunjukkan alat dapat berfungsi sudut orientasi dengan selisih sudut rata sudut acuan kurang dari 3%. Selisih sudut minimum 0.088° dan selisih sudut maksimum 6.595°Kata Kunci— Sensor gyroscope Sudut Orientasi.

Abstract

In embedded-system designs that involve just a small capacity voice-recorder, one may use EEPROM or voice-recorder IC. However, sometimes one needs a high capacity voice recorder also. In this case, EEPROM can’tfulfill the needs anymore because it’s hard to get EEPROM with capacity even at 512 kbyte. Meanwhile, the ISD® voice-recorder IC could store voice up to 16 minutes only. For this background, the writer proposes a high-capacity digital voice recorder which is able to record voice for several hours. It uses SD Card as the storage media.. With sampling rate at 8 kHz/8 bit and 512 MB SD Card, the recorder can store voice until 18 hours. The recorded voices are stored in WAV file format so that can be transfered from and to PC when needed.

Abstract

One of the ways to improve the quality of the material is by using the thin layer deposition techniques on the material surface. DC magnetron sputtering is one of the methods frequently used to do so. This method uses plasma to create a thin layer on the material's surface. In this research, flyback circuit is used to generate plasma. This research examines the effects of electrodes’ gap and sputtering process time on the width of marks that appear on the substrate’s surface. The electrodes’ gap varies in range of 1, 2, 3, and 4 cm, whereas the sputtering process time varies in range of 36, 72, 108, 144, and 180 minutes. The substrate used in this research is iron and the coating materials used are aluminium and copper. This research uses plate-shaped electrodes in the coating process. The sputtering process resulted in the appearance of marks on the substrate’s surface. The marks were compared qualitatively with every gap range of electrodes, sputtering process time, and the coating material used. Next, they were categorized into 6 groups according to the thickness of the marks’ layer in order to obtain quantitative data which were then made into graphics. The results of this research show that silver coating material takes the shortest time to coat iron substrate, which is 36 minutes. In 36 minutes, the marks produced by silver coating fall under the group with the highest marks, compared to other coating materials. This research also shows that alteration of the electrodes' gap will affect the voltage of electrodes and the coating’s thickness groups. The further the gap between the electrodes, the higher the electrodes’ voltage and the coating’s thickness groups will be.

Abstract

Abstract UPI (Fishing Unit) is a group of fishermen in Payangan waters, Jember Regency that uses conventional tools and methods in the form of attractants made of bamboo. The attractant used is easily washed away by the waves and causes the position of the attractant to move. the use of single-use bamboo attractants can increase the operating costs of the equipment. FIABLE (Fish Attractor Portable) is a technology innovation attractant based on sound frequency and blue lacuba (underwater dip lamp). The power source used comes from the Seawater Wave Power Plant (PLTGL) with a pendulum system that is integrated with IoT (Internet of Things) using aapplication system mobile. The method used is through direct interview surveys to fishermen, FIABLE technology design, technology application and training, and data analysis using Independent Sample t-Test. The results of the attractant test produce a frequency of 1000 Hz with blue light at a wavelength of 450-295 nm. The PLTGL test of the pendulum system can charge a 12 V battery for 3.8 hours. Fishing using FIABLE is proven to work well even with a range of 1 km radius. Atraktan yang digunakan mudah hanyut terbawa ombak dan yang menyebabkan posisi atraktan berpindah-pindah. penggunaan atraktan bambu yang sekali pakai dapat meningkatkan biaya operasional alat. FIABLE (Fish Attractor Portable) merupakan atraktan inovasi teknologi berbasis frekuensi suara dan lacuba (lampu celup bawah air) berwarna biru. Sumber listrik berasal dari Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gelombang air Laut (PLTGL) dengan sistem bandul yang terintegrasi Internet of Things menggunakan sistem aplikasi mobile. Metode yang digunakan melalui survey wawancara, perancangan, penerapan dan pelatihan teknologi, serta analisis data menggunakan Independent Sample t-Test. Hasil pengujian atraktan menghasilkan frekuensi sebesar 1000 Hz dengan cahaya biru pada panjang gelombang 450-295 nm. Uji PLTGL sistem bandul dapat mengisi aki sebesar 12 V selama 3,8 jam. Abstract

Health problems in Indonesia are still a concern due to the large number of deaths due to cross-infection diseases. In dentistry, the risk of cross infection often occurs because the use of dental instruments that are exposed to saliva is less than optimal in the sterilization process. Currently, the most frequently used sterilization tool in dentistry is the autoclave. Routine autoclave sterilization is usually operated at a steam pressure of 15 lb/in2. At this pressure, the temperature becomes 121oC. the time required at this temperature is 15-20 minutes (Volk and Wheeler, 1993). However, autoclaves are considered less effective because they have several disadvantages, such as being expensive, using high power, and requiring a lot of time to use. Therefore, it is necessary to have a solution to overcome the above problems. A research was carried out on designing a sterilization system for dental instruments using the ionizer method in order to determine the level of efficiency of this method in the process of sterilizing dental instruments. This sterilizer utilizes high voltage in the ion generator circuit to produce ions. This research was carried out by testing the working components and using an oscilloscope to determine the working parameters produced in the ionization circuit as well as testing in the microbiology laboratory to determine the effectiveness of the system in decontaminating bacteria. The results of this research are that the DHT22 sensor has an accuracy of 99.71% in detecting the temperature of the sterilization room and it was found that within an ion irradiation time of 300 seconds the number of bacteria was reduced by 97.32%. Abstract

In this study, the authors conducted simulations to simplify the algorithm contained in the SVM so that performance can be improved while maintaining its low complexity. Tests were conducted using simulations on MATLAB/Simulink software. Fromthe test results, it is known that the execution speed of the simplified SVM is 0.3 seconds faster than the conventional SVM. In addition, there is a slight decrease in torque ripple by 6% in the simplified SVM. From the results of all tests, the use of simplified PI-DTC is able to reduce torque ripple and reduce PI-DTC complexity. Keywords: PI-DTC, SVM, torque ripple, complexity, Simulink

Abstract

The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) is a type of electric motor frequently used in electric vehicles due to its reliability and efficiency. However, electric vehicles have a maximum speed limit caused by the Back Electromotive Force (BEMF), which prevents further torque generation. The Overmodulation method is chosen to enhance the maximum speed of PMSMs. Byemploying overmodulation, the inverter output voltage will be higher than using ordinary SVPWM. This voltage increase allows the current to flow for a longer duration, generating torque and thus extending the speed range of the PMSM. This study utilized the PLECS software for simulation. The results revealed a 13.7% increase in RMS voltage, a 40.7% increase in current, higher power output, a 1.08% increase in speed range, and a 1007% increase in electrical torque. Overmodulation enhances voltage, current, power, and speed range without altering the components. Keywords: SVPWM, Overmodulation, BEMF, Motor Speed, PLECS
