This research aims to create learning media in the Stone and Concrete Engineering course with the help of the Lectora Inspire and Macromedia Flash applications. The approach carried out in this study uses the R&D method using a 4D development model which includes the defining stage (define), design stage (design), development stage (develop) and trial stage (disseminate). The subjects of the study were civil engineering students enrolled in the Stone and Concrete Engineering course as many as 16 people. Assessment of the feasibility of learning media is carried out by providing validity and practicality questionnaires to media experts, material experts. Data from the questionnaire is then processed to determine the level of validity and practicality of the learning media. The effectiveness of learning media is measured from student learning outcomes using developed learning media. The assessment results from media and material experts for learning media made get an average score of 0.86 in the very valid category. The results of the assessment of the practicality of the learning media made get an average score of 86% in the very practical category. Based on the implementation of the pretest, the average score was 58.25 and the implementation of the posttest or final test obtained the average value was 80.12. There is an increase in student learning outcomes after being given video tutorial-based learning media so that it can be concluded that the level of effectiveness of using this media is very effective. Referring to the assessment of material experts, media experts, tests to students can be declared learning media that are developed suitable for use as learning media.

Penelitian ini mengkaji tantangan dan solusi dalam kebijakan rehabilitasi bangunan pendidikan di Kabupaten Agam. Menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods, studi ini menggabungkan survei terhadap 300 kepala sekolah, wawancara mendalam dengan 20 informan kunci, observasi lapangan pada 30 sekolah, dan analisis dokumen kebijakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan anggaran (β = 0.42, p < 0.001) dan kualitas perencanaan (β = 0.38, p < 0.001) merupakan faktor paling signifikan yang mempengaruhi efektivitas rehabilitasi. Temuan lain mengungkapkan bahwa 30% dari 1.200 bangunan sekolah memerlukan rehabilitasi mendesak, sementara 67% kepala sekolah merasa kurang dilibatkan dalam proses perencanaan. Analisis regresi menunjukkan korelasi positif antara partisipasi pemangku kepentingan lokal dengan kepuasan terhadap hasil rehabilitasi (r = 0.72, p < 0.001). Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi tantangan dalam manajemen proyek, dengan 40% proyek mengalami keterlambatan dan 25% melebihi anggaran. Penelitian merekomendasikan pengembangan sistem informasi terpadu, peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia lokal, penguatan partisipasi masyarakat, dan implementasi mekanisme pendanaan alternatif. Temuan ini memberikan landasan empiris untuk merumuskan kebijakan rehabilitasi yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan, dengan mempertimbangkan konteks lokal Kabupaten Agam.

Nagari Pasar Baru, Kecamatan Bayang, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, Sumatera Barat, sebuah wilayah yang rawan gempa dan tsunami karena berada di zona subduksi aktif yaitu pertemuan antara Lempeng Indo-Australia dan Lempeng Eurasia. Di sepanjang pantai barat Sumatera terdapat zona megathrust, yaitu zona tumbukan yang berpotensi menimbulkan gempa bumi besar dan tsunami. Dengan jumlah penduduk sebanyak 4.752 jiwa dan belum adanya shelter tsunami yang ada, maka maka perlu dilakukan perencanaan lokasi sebagai fasilitas evakuasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan melakukan observasi lapangan, pemetaan lokasi dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak ArcGIS, dan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk menentukan lokasi shelter yang potensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan enam lokasi potensial, yaitu Masjid Raya Darussalam, SMP Negeri 2 Bayang, Puskesmas Pasar Baru, SDN 05 Pasar Baru, KUA KEC Bayang, SMA Negeri 2 Bayang. berdasarkan analisis kriteria, SMP Negeri 2 Bayang diidentifikasi sebagai lokasi yang paling sesuai. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi untuk perencanaan mitigasi bencana di wilayah pesisir yang rawan tsunami.

Studi ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa video animasi untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Gambar Teknik. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas X DPIB SMK Dhuafa Padang dengan menerapkan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, validasi dari para ahli, serta angket praktikalitas yang diberikan kepada guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa media yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat kelayakan yang sangat tinggi berdasarkan validasi ahli dengan skor Aiken's V sebesar 0,91. Uji praktikalitas menunjukkan hasil yang sangat baik dengan persentase 89% dari guru dan 87,3% dari siswa, yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa video animasi pembelajaran efektif meningkatkan partisipasi dan minat belajar siswa, sekaligus menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan efisien. Oleh karena itu, media ini dapat dijadikan alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran kejuruan di SMK.

This research aims to examine the implementation of the SIAKAMA application in the Apprenticeship Industrial Program. This program was created as a SIAKAMA application to overcome hurdles during the monitoring and evaluation stages. At the monitoring stage, supervising lecturers and field supervisors can use the SIAKAMA application to monitor all Apprenticeship Industrial program student activities in the field, resulting in a good and smooth communication and coordination system. At the evaluation stage, the supervising lecturer and field supervisors in the SIAKAMA application can conduct assessments based on student activities in the field, including daily evaluations and final assessments after the Apprenticeship Industrial Program has been finished. This study employs a quantitative descriptive technique, the Research & Development method, and the 4D development model. A sample of Apprenticeship Industrial Program students from five departments of the Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University, was used in this study. The SIAKAMA application was found to be valid with a value of 0.876, practical with a value of 78.67, and effective with a value of 81.22% after data analysis using SPSS 25. This suggests that implementing the SIAKAMA application to enhance the work competency of Apprenticeship Industrial Program students is viable. The Apprenticeship Industrial Program model represents a modification of the Three Set of Actor development model, yet it hasn't been incorporated with the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Engaging in this Program enables students to acquire 4C skills, including Creativity and Innovation, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Communication, and Collaboration.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktif dan kreatif siswa dalam pembelajaran Desain Permodelan Bangunan melalui penerapan metode Outdoor Study di SMK Negeri 1 Batipuh. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dengan setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 18 siswa kelas XI DPIB tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Instrumen penelitian berupa rubrik penilaian dan angket yang telah divalidasi menggunakan rumus Aiken’s V dengan hasil 0,86, menunjukkan tingkat validitas yang sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Outdoor Study mampu meningkatkan aktifdan kreativitas belajar siswa, yang terlihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar dari 51 pada pra-siklus menjadi 87 pada siklus II, serta ketuntasan belajar yang meningkat dari 0% menjadi 100%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode Outdoor Study efektif dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif, kreatif, dan kontekstual pada pembelajaran Desain Permodelan Bangunan.

This study aims to develop a SketchUp E-Module as an innovative competency-based learning medium for the Planning Drawing course in the Building Engineering Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Padang. This research is motivated by the absence of structured module-based teaching materials, as well as learning processes that are still dominated by demonstration methods, videos, and PowerPoint. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the DDD-E development model, which includes the stages of Decide, Design, Develop, and Evaluate. The research subjects consisted of lecturers and students from the Building Engineering Education Study Program. The instruments used were validation questionnaires by material experts and media experts, as well as practicality questionnaires completed by students. Data analysis techniques employed Aiken’s V formula for validity and percentage analysis for practicality. The results of the study indicate that the developed E-Module has a high level of validity, with media expert validation reaching 91.5% (very feasible) and material expert validation reaching 80% (feasible). In addition, the practicality test results from students showed an average score of 96.67%, categorized as very practical. This demonstrates that the developed SketchUp E-Module is easy to use, engaging, and effective in helping students understand the material and improve their 3D building design skills. Thus, it can be concluded that the competency-based SketchUp E-Module developed in this study is both feasible and highly practical to be used as an innovative learning medium in the Planning Drawing course.

The development of practical instructional media in building engineering education is essential for supporting students’ understanding of reinforced concrete structural concepts in accordance with applicable construction standards. However, studies that specifically develop learning media in the form of physical replicas of sloof and column reinforcement based on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 2847:2019 remain limited. This study aimed to develop and test the feasibility of instructional media in the form of sloof and column reinforcement replicas based on SNI 2847:2019 for use in the Praktek Dasar Batu dan Beton (Basic Masonry and Concrete Practice) course. The research employed a research and development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model. The study participants comprised four validators—two subject-matter experts and two media experts—and twenty-three students of the Building Engineering Education Study Program as media users. Data were collected using validation and practicality questionnaires and were analyzed using Aiken’s V index and percentage analysis. The results showed that the replica media achieved a high level of validity, with average Aiken’s V values of 0.86 from material experts and 0.94 from media experts, as well as a practicality level of 90%, which falls into the “highly practical” category. These findings indicate that the replica media are feasible and effective as practical instructional media to help students understand sloof and column reinforcement details in a concrete and standard-compliant manner, and they offer practical contributions to the development of experience-based learning media in building engineering education.

This research aims to develop Android-based learning media for the Basic Job Skills, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), and Work Culture elements in the Building Design and Information Construction (DPIB) field at SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman. The development was driven by the need for interactive, attractive, and easily accessible learning innovations to support students in understanding vocational materials more contextually. This study used a Research and Development approach with the DDDE model, consisting of the decide, design, develop, and evaluate stages. Data were obtained using validation and practicality questionnaires assessed by media experts, material experts, teachers, and students. The validation results showed that the media achieved an Aiken's V score of 0.88 from media experts and 0.91 from material experts, indicating a very valid category. Practicality testing obtained 96 percent from teachers and 89 percent from students, which were categorized as very practical. Based on the findings, the developed Android-based learning media is suitable for use as an interactive, innovative, and effective learning resource to support the DPIB learning process in vocational schools.

This research is based on the absence of an e-module that can used by students in the Soil Mechanics course at the Civil Engineering Departement of Padang State University, the students have difficulty learning and understanding Soil Mechanics material independently. To overcome this issue, a learning media product in the form of a Flipbook-based E-Module was developed with the help of Canva and Heyzine Online Flipbook Maker for Soil Mechanics learning. The purpose of this research is to develop a product in the form of Flipbook-based E-Module for valid and practical Soil Mechanics learning. The type of this research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model. The developed product is tested for its validity by expert lecturers in content and media. Then after being declared valid, a practicality test of the product is conducted by 25 students from the Civil Engineering Departement. The final results of the material expert validation obtained a coefficient value of 0,96 with the category “Very Valid” and the final results of the media expert validation obtained a coefficient value of 0,89 with the category “Very Valid”. The final results of the practicality test for the students obtained a value of 91,56% with the category “Very Practical”. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the Flipbook-based E-Module media in Soil Mechanics learning developed is valid and practical for used by students of the Civil Engineering Departement at Padang State University
