Abstract

PT. Starfoood International is a medium-sized industry engaged in fish processing which is used for snacks that have been exported to foreign countries. The company has a warehouse size of 20 meters wide x 50 meters long. Currently, the company is experiencing problems related to the arrangement of goods that are less organized and the company itself does not apply good layout procedures, which has an impact on the process of picking up goods which takes a relatively long time. The special storage method is a layout preparation method, in which the storage of products is arranged according to the number of import and export operations in the shortest distance. Through the use of this method, finished products that need to be stored will occupy the right place, making it easier for employees to store and remove products for production so that product flows smoothly. From the results of calculations using the dedicated storage method in the warehouse, the factors that influence 4 factors are Box (frozen fish), Box (Surimih), plastic (frozen fish), plastic (Surimih), for goods that are often in and out of the product manufacturing process at the factory placed behind the production door so that it doesn't take a long time and the items are arranged neatly, the calculation of the dedicated storage method is able to provide closer distance changes and make it easier for employees to find items that are often used.

Abstract

Service Quality which is provided by the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Gresik Regency. Service quality is considered a crucial element in carrying out public service functions. This research focuses on analyzing Aspects of quality of service such as reliability, responsiveness, security, empathy, and physical aspects. The research method used is a case study approach with a qualitative approach. Data was obtained through direct observation and interviews with staff and consumers on the SEPEKAN System service at Bappeda and related parties. The data is carefully analyzed to identify the extent of the current quality of service. The results of the study illustrate the general picture of the quality of services provided by Bappeda Gresik Regency including the highest level of importance, namely the X8 attribute regarding the fairness of costs/tariffs in services with a value of 3,708. The dimension of service quality that most affects community satisfaction in the SEPEKAN Bappeda System of Gresik Regency is the dimension of Responsiveness with a gap level of 0.169, which is an attribute of the speed of time in providing services. These findings have important implications for relevant parties in identifying areas of improvement and developing policies to improve the quality of public services in the future. It is hoped that this research can make a positive contribution to efforts to improve better public services in the regions.

Abstract

In the era of rapid development of the culinary industry, companies of all sizes must compete to improve the quality of their products in order to remain relevant in the current era of free trade, Quality product design refers to the design of products that not only fulfill their basic functions, but also in accordance with quality, capacity, and appearance that satisfies customers. The company is aware of the importance of improving as well as developing the best products. Therefore, how a business wants to identify the needs and wants of consumers. This study applies QFD and Kano methods. Data collection methods in this study are conservation, interviews and distributing questionnaires. To understand the characteristics of shredded milkfish products, smile baboons that are in accordance with consumer desires, using Kano and continued with QFD analysis and then included in the House of quality, aimed at prioritizing development. The purpose of this study is to bring out what are the attributes of baboon shredded milkfish products that are expected to lift product quality. The results of this study show that there are 20 attributes that are expected by consumers and 14 technical responses, the main things of development include making new packaging, sorting and inspecting raw materials, choosing writing or fonts that are easy to read by buyers or enthusiasts, also the most important is to promote through Instagram to boost the popularity of products from smile baboons.

Abstract

Mini rengginang is a traditional Indonesian food which has been innovated into a snack and can be consumed by all groups, both young and old. This research aims to identify and implement innovative marketing strategies to increase market penetration of mini rengginang products in the snack food industry. The SWOT evaluation method is used to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats associated with a product in a competitive market. Meanwhile, the application of the marketing mix aims to optimize product, price, promotion and distribution elements in order to achieve the specified marketing objectives. By integrating these two methods, this research seeks to provide a comprehensive view of how to address market challenges, identify competitive advantages, and adapt marketing strategies to gain a competitive edge in the ever-evolving snack food industry.

Abstract

Operational risk is the non-functioning of a system, human resources, technology, etc. which causes deviations due to non-conformity from what is expected. Many factors cause operational risks to occur. In this research, a case study of convection operational risks, there are risks that cause financial losses to the company. By analyzing risks, risk-causing factors, and mitigation techniques, the House of Risk method is used in this study to identify hazards in convection operations. There are 12 risk agents with 20 identified causes, resulting in 12 priority strategies, namely looking for closer suppliers, holding meetings with company operations/coordinating using language/actions that are easy to understand, creating appropriate K3 SOP, maintaining every tool used, placing orders. via telephone, carrying out selection with experts for each worker, assessing the reasons behind delays and putting new plans in place to schedule the delivery of goods, enforcing severe rules against those who break them, getting the company's diesel engines ready, creating a list of design drawings that have been submitted and those that haven't, Creating and altering design creation processes

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara berkembang sedang giat-giatnya melakukan bermacam kegiatan pembangunan, demi menunjang kehidupan sejahtera untuk masyarakatnya. Pembangunan-pembangunan yang dilakukan ini sering disebut sebagai proyek konstruksi. Pada tahapan perencanaan proyek, diperlukan adanya perhitungan terhadap risiko kemungkinan yang akan muncul pada proyek tersebut, dan mempehitungkan tingkat kesuksesan proyek tersebut. Resiko yang muncul dalam proyek merupakan hal yang dapat mengganggu jalannya proyek, dan juga memperhitungkan kesuksesan sebuah proyek merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengoptimalkan proyek tersebut. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis risiko dengan menggunakan metode Risk Priority Number (FMEA), metode ini digunakan unutk mengetahui risiko pada proyek ini. Dari identifikasi yang dilakukan pada proyek pembangunan rumah contoh type Hook kecil didapatkan 21 risiko dalam proses pengerjaan proyek yaitu keterlambatan pengiriman material dari supplier dengan nilai RPN 175. Setelah mengetahui risiko tertinggi kemudian dilakukan simulasi Monte Carlo untuk melihat tingkat kepercayaan atau keberhasilan dari Rancangan Anggaran Biaya (RAB) yang telah disusun oleh perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi Monte Carlo didapatkan range RAB minimal dan maksimal proyek pada biaya Rp. 598.000.000 memiliki tingkat kepercayaan sebesar 1,20%, pada biaya Rp. 623.000.000 memiliki tingkat kepercayaan sebesar 62,05%, dan pada biaya Rp. 636.000.000 memiliki tingkat kepercayaan sebesar 91,57%.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan industri tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kebisingan karena hampir setiap aktivitas manufaktur di kawasan industri menghasilkan suara yang terdengar atau terlihat pada tingkat tertentu. Khususnya akibat pengoperasian mesin industri, kebisingan dapat menyebabkan gangguan pendengaran, yang pada gilirannya dapat berdampak pada kesehatan dan kenyamanan. Sebagai bagian dari upaya mengurangi kebisingan latar belakang, PT Petrokimia Gresik telah mulai menerapkan prinsip-prinsip inti Program Konservasi Pendengaran (HCP). Meskipun sebagian program PKP telah dilaksanakan, namun keseluruhan program belum dilaksanakan secara metodis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik pemetaan kebisingan dan niosh untuk memastikan lokasi dan volume kebisingan di unit urea PT Petrokimia Gresik di pabrik 1A. Studi lapangan menunjukkan bahwa dua dari tiga wilayah tersebut memiliki tingkat kebisingan lebih tinggi dari tingkat pra-kontrol sebesar 85 dB yang ditetapkan oleh Permenaker NAB No. Per.13/Men/X/2011. Tingkat paparan sebesar 96,53 dB adalah ditemukan di wilayah paling bising. Menurut NIOSH, periode paparan maksimum yang diperbolehkan dapat disesuaikan tergantung pada tingkat kebisingan yang diukur. Periode paparan maksimum yang tercatat di sekitar Stasiun Pompa adalah 33,44 menit, atau 0,56 jam, menurut temuan pengukuran. Karena kedekatan lokasi pengukuran dengan sumber kebisingan, maka karyawan PT Petrokimia Gresik wajib menggunakan helm pengaman, penutup telinga, dan sarung tangan. Pendengaran pekerja dapat dilindungi dari efek berbahaya energi akustik dengan bantuan alat pelindung.

Abstract

Persaingan di industri kerupuk ikan semakin ketat. Banyak produsen lain yang juga mencoba memasuki pasar dengan berbagai inovasi baru baik dari segi rasa maupun kemasan. Oleh sebab itu, perusahaan dirasa penting untuk terus melakukan pengembangan produk agar dapat tetap bersaing dan mempertahankan pangsa pasarnya. Dalam penelitian ini, metode Kano dan QFD yang digunakan. Tujuan Metode Kano adalah untuk mengetahui apa yang diinginkan konsumen tentang produksi kerupuk, dan QFD adalah untuk menawarkan saran yang paling penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kano memiliki 6 atribut one-dimensional, 4 atribut must-be, 2 atribut Attractive, dan untuk atribut Indefferent tidak mendapat grade. Di sisi lain, hasil penelitian QFD menunjukkan bahwa pengujian validitas ketiga tingkatan menghasilkan nilai R hitung yang lebih dari R table 0,532, yang menunjukkan bahwa atribut valid sementara uji reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa nilai alpha dari ke-3 tingkatan menghasilkan nilai dan jawaban responden dianggap konsisten.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam industri manufaktur semakin kompleks karena pertumbuhan sektor industri yang disertai oleh kemajuan teknologi yang begitu pesat. PT. Xyz bergerak di sektor pupuk. Perinsip penataan produk gudang existing memakai metode randomized storage, yang menyebabkan tingginya proses penerimaan dan pengeluaran barang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu dalam memberi rekomendasi terkait cara memperbaiki tata letak gudang agar proses penerimaan dan pengeluaran barang bisa dioptimalkan dan agar kegiatan penyimpanan bisa dilakukan secara efisien dan efektif. Penelitian ini memakai analisis ABC dan metode Class Based Storage dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Setelah dilakukan usulan tata letak gudang dengan mengelompokkan produk mengacu pada analisis ABC didapatkan hasil sejumlah 9 produk kelas A, 5 produk kelas B, 9 produk kelas C dan metode Class Based Storage didapatkan nilai jarak pada layout Existing sejumlah 516.849 m dan nilai jarak layout usulan sejumlah 415.531 m maka penurunan total jarak layout usulan sejumlah 101.318 m.

Abstract

Nurul Islam Vocational School is a school that runs a business in the field of vocational education, namely Mechanical Engineering (TPM), Electrical Power Installation Engineering (TITL), Office Management Automation (OTKP). led to a decrease in the number of students in the SMK. The purpose of this study is to analyze existing internal and external resources and determine the appropriate method to be used to improve school quality so that it can attract public interest in using the SWOT method to survive and compete with other schools. In this research, different research methods, both quantitative and qualitative, are used to describe the realities of the area. The results obtained from the results of the SWOT analysis give an IFE value of 3.43, while an EFE value of 3.56. Therefore, the IE matrix of Nurul Islam Vocational School, several development strategies and solutions show that the SWOT matrix of Nurul Islam Vocational School is located in quadrant I. Vocational High School entrance fees are affordable is the second-choice alternative for parents if their child is not accepted at public high school as an effort to make it easier for student parents to choose a school.
