Abstract

Abstract. CV. Bara Mitra Kencana is a mining company engaged in coal mining, located in the city of Sawahlunto, West Sumatra. Coal produced by CV. Bara Mitra Kencana Consists of various types, which are grouped based on their calorific value originating from different pits. These coal calories are influenced by the geological conditions of a mining location, including high quality, medium quality and low quality coal. With differences in coal quality at each coal seam, the coal mixing process is necessary. done so that low quality coal can be utilized. Research with this method aims to determine the effect of low quality coal when mixed with hazelnut shells, the use of a mixture of candlenut shells on coal will see its effect on calories, sulfur, ash, total moisture, fixed carbon and coal volatile matter.Based on the results of the above research shows where the initial coal calorie is 4700 cal / g to 6443.11 cal / g, the initial coal sulfur is 2.66% to 0.079%, the initial coal moisture inherent is 1.91% to 4.39%, Volatile The initial coal matter was 27.54% to 31.88%, the initial coal Ash content was 30.17% to 14.45%, the initial coal fixed carbon was 40.38% to 50.18%.                 Keywords : coal quality, candlenut shells, calories, ash content, sulfur, volatile matter

Abstract

PT. Cahaya Bumi Perdana is a company engaged in underground coal mines. Underground mining has a great potential danger This potential hazard that causes underground mining is more frequent accidents, such as methane gas explosions. In addition, since the commencement of the operation of this underground coal mine in 2016 there have been several accidents which have been caused by human error (human errors) such as incomplete use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate occupational health and safety in use of PPE. This work health and safety evaluation aims to improve the quality or quality of work safety and reduce the number of accidents that occur. This evaluation includes: work safety system, company policy, equipment for Operational Procedure (SOP).Based on the observations of the authors in the field, there are still workers who ignore PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), such as not using a helmet (safety helmet), shoes (safety shoes), mask (respirator), glasses, gloves, ear plug, not wearing clothes while working, and lack of awareness of the consequences of the accident for yourself, the company, and the environment. The results of this evaluation activity will provide a solution to improve the quality of work safety in underground mines, which is to motivate workers to always comply with all established regulations, always be careful in working and always prioritize occupational safety and health. Efforts that can be done by the company to improve the quality / quality of occupational health and safety (K3) such as, conduct K3 training, conduct control and analysis of job performance, and place the position of employees or workers in the right position. This will improve work performance and improve the quality of health and safety of workers. Abstract

PT. Andalas Nusa Indah (PT ANI) is a coal mining company located in SungaiBringin Village, Pelepat District, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province with license status ofProduction Operation Mining License (20010-2019) based on SK Bungo IUP NO. 273 /DESDM in 2010, issued by Bungo Regent with a total area of 146 Ha.PT. ANI has a disposal with an area of ± 2.56 Ha, which has no longer functioning.The disposal of the area is in arid condition which when the dry season causes dust and inthe rainy season there are puddles so that the water puddle can overflow and drain the mineroad which productivity muddle. And also Most of the disposal land has not been usedoptimally because there is overburden pile part that is too high while the available land fordisposal is still wide. The company plans to reclaim the disposal of the area. Therefore, goodreclamation planning should be made.Reclamation planning starts from the arrangement of the land, where overburdenheap that is not equal to height will be flattened so that all the height parallel, After thatmaking terracing, topsoil top soil spread as planting medium. After the land settlement iscompleted then the land will be done cover crop planting. Furthermore, the revegetationprocess starts from pengajiran, excavation planting hole, planting, and maintenance (1 yearafter the seedlings are planted).Based on calculations in the planning of reclamation disposal area by way ofrevegation, the direct cost for the activities of land smoothing up to revegetation at thedisposal area is Rp. 132.294.402 and indirect costs of Rp. 47.301.493. Then the total cost ofrevegetation is Rp.179.595.895.

Abstract

PT. Semen Padang plans to expand mining area, especially in the Front III B-IV B. The limestone production target was planned is 550,000 tons / month. Long-term production target planning for all mining areas in 2017 for limestone is 10,128,000 tons, or increase 12.56 % and silicastone is 1,100,000 tons, or increase 10% from 2016. Production realization achieved in 2016 was only achieved 78.3% for limestone and 71.7% for silicastone. Less optimal achievement of production targets in 2016 due to inappropriate sequence factors, and irregularities in excavation. Planning for limestone mining in Front III B-IV B is based on technical and economical assessmnet in terms of quality and quantity of deposit. In order to maintain the quality of the limestone, it is necessary to know the amount of reserves and the distribution of the quality of limestone in a block model estimated by the geostatistical approach, namely the krigging method. Planning quarry design’s starts from April to August 2017. Combination of loader - hauler that is used to transport limestone is Excavator Komatsu PC 1800-Dumptruck HD 785, while overburden removal use a combination of Excavator Komatsu PC 300-Dumptruck Hino FM260JD. From the design of the quarry in April - August 2017 it was found that in April the overburden stripping was 6,535.71 Bcm and 552,001.89 Tons of limestone, with mining operational costs of $ 160,243. In May the stripping of limestone was reached 569,286.38 Ton, with mining operation cost of $ 162,243. In June, overburden stripping was 5000 Bcm was carried out and 582,636.13 tons of limestone, with mining operating costs reach $ 136,950. In June, overburden stripping was carried out of 29,753 Bcm and 596,955.59 tons of limestone, with mining operating costs of $ 168,989. Abstract

Briket biobatubara adalah jenis produk briket yang menggunakan bahan baku batubara dan biomassa, baik dengan atau tanpa bahan pengikat maupun bahan imbuh lainnya. Banyak penelitian yang telah dilakukan untuk memanfaatkan batubara dengan nilai kalori rendah terutama penelitian dalam pembuatan briket karena pembuatannya yang sederhana, praktis, ekonomis serta efektif dan efisien untuk dimanfaatkan. Berangkat dari pemikiran diatas, maka muncul beberapa pemikiran untuk meningkatkan kualitas dari batubara lokal. Usaha tersebut yaitu dengan mencampur batubara lokal dari CV. Bara Mitra Kencana yang merupakan batubara Seam 1 yang memiliki kalori sebesar 4800 an Kcal/Kg dengan tempurung kelapa yang menggunakan bahan perekat/binder, sedangkan bahan perekat yang digunakan adalah menggunakan tepung tapioka, dengan komposisi campurannya adalah batubara 50%, 65% dan 80%, biomas 35%, 25% dan 15%, bahan pengikat 15%, 10% dan 5%. Dari ketiga komposisi campuran tersebut didapatkan nilai analisis proksimate dan uji pembakarannya. Studi mendapatkan kesimpulan bahwa analisis proximate briket B1 memiliki nilai calorific value 5.617,52 Kcal/Kg, ash content 23,65%, inheren moisture 6,13%, total moisture 5,49%, volatile matter 28,41% dan fixed carbon 41,81%, lama penyalaan awal selama 293 detik, lama penyalaan hingga menjadi abu selama 4.140 detik, dan kecepatan pembakaran 0,00439 g/detik, briket B2 memiliki nilai calorific value 5.236,26 Kcal/Kg, ash content 27,88%, inheren moisture 5,43%, total moisture 5,28%, volatile matter 28,88% dan fixed carbon 37,81%, memiliki lama penyalaan awal selama 271 detik, lama penyalaan hingga menjadi abu selama 3.345 detik, dan kecepatan pembakaran 0,00555 g/detik, dan briket B3 memiliki nilai calorific value 5.107,75 Kcal/Kg, ash content 31,76%, inheren moisture 4,57%, total moisture 4,6%, volatile matter 30,61% dan fixed carbon 33,06%, lama penyalaan awal selama 189 detik, lama penyalaan hingga menjadi abu selama 2.904 detik, dan kecepatan pembakaran 0,00654 g/detik.Kata kunci: Briket biobatubara, Analisis Proksimate, Uji Pembakaran.

Abstract

This research discuss about safety and health occupational control inBangka Ocean KIP Timah 16 Units using some risk management methodes. Themethodes are Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and HazardIdentification Risk Assesment Determining Control (HIRADC). Purpose of theresearch is to explain safety and health occupational in KIP Timah 16 Unit it isfor get the improvement of productivity work, production, welfare andcomfortability workers and achievment of zero accident.The type pf the research is descriptive. There are two data had collected.They are primary and secondery data. Primary data get from interview with theemployees and secondary data get from K3 documents in thecenter company ofPT. Timah UPLB and KIP 16.Based on result of research can get some conclutions. First, explain safetyand health occupational system. Second, the implementation formula of FR, SRand IR to count total accident that lost from day work, percentage of accident fora month. Third, to use methode JHA, JSA and HIRADC for identification andcontrol occupational accident. And last, to arrange new SOP from analysis resultJHA, JSA, HIRADC and earlier SOP.

Abstract

Equipment is a very important factor in ensuring the sustainability of mining production. Theamount of excess fleet will result in inflated operating expenses, while the number of fleetsthat little will reduce the number of mine production. Ideal conditions in the process ofloading and transportation of materials is very difficult to achieve. However, it can beattempted through efficiency tehadap number of major mining dump truck. One simulationmethod that can be used to optimize the production of electric load - dump truck main methodis to use the production capacity and queuing theory. Simulations conducted in order toobtain optimum number of trucks with truck queuing time the minimum and avoid waiting forthe appliance load dump truck.Unloading tool used was Excavator Backhoe Komatsu PC 400 consist of 2 units. Dump truckwhich is a truck used Hino 500 FM 320 TI totaling 12 units. Based on simulation results withsimulation approach production capacity dump truck takes 11 units while the dump truckqueues based on the theory that it takes 11 units. Abstract

Based on analysis of rainfall data in 2007-2016, rainfall is obtained from the plan of 149,70 mm/day with different rain intensity in each catchment area. 5-year rain recharge period and hydrogeological risk of 67.23%. At the research location, Pit Durian PT. JRBM, in 2017 has 4 catchment areas with different area, total discharge equal to 11.913,206 m3/hour, there are 2 sumps that is South 1 Sump and North Sump with maximum capacity of 12.702 m3 and 29.596 m3 and there is one Volvo KSB LCC-H 200-610 on each sump, there are three open channels and one main setling pond with different compartment capacity. After an evaluation of the mine drainage system in 2017, South 1 Sump requires an additional 2 units of Volvo KSB LCC-H 200-610 and North Sump pumps requiring additional pumps of 1 unit of Volvo KSB LCC-H 200-610 pump.In the planning of Pit Durian mine drainage system in 2018, Pit Durian has 7 catchment areas with different area with total discharge of 14,393,101 m3/hour, there is addition of sump to 5 sump namely South 1 Sump, South 2 Sump, South 3 Sump, North 1 Sump and North 2 Sump with capacity of each sump is planned for 33,485 m3, 40,745 m3, 35,399 m3, 11,565 m3 and 20,193 m3 and requires 1 unit of Volvo KSB LCC-H 200-610 pump on each sump. The of mine drainage system in 2018 is planned to have an open channel as well as a setling pond similar to 2017.

Abstract

. PT. Karya Usaha Aneka Tambang Solok Selatan Indonesia has 6 settling pond. One thing that needs to be considered in deposition is the tailings and the dimensions of the settling pond, whether the pond is able to handle the waste that comes out of iron ore processing. The purpose of this study is to calculate the dimensions of the pond, calculate the percentage of deposition, calculate the period of dredging, calculate the length of dredging, and the costs that need to be incurred for pond maintenance.The method used in conducting this research uses the type of quantitative research. This is because in future research, data will be used in the form of numbers. The research was carried out by calculating the tailings entering the pond, taking water samples, calculating the dimensions of the pond, dredging the settling pond, the cycle time of the digging tool for dredging activities, and the cost of heavy equipment.The area and volume of the settling pond is 20345.3 m2 and the volume is 16,799.66 m3. With a depth of 0.3-0.95 m. After analyzing the maintenance cycle for pool 1 is 16.71 and pool 2 is 6.45 years. For pond dredging activities, the company uses one Hitachi zaxis 210f excavator and one Mitsubishi Fuso 220Ps Dump Truck with a total TSS tonnage transfer time of 1.17 days and a loading and digging time of 3.92 days with the dredging cost for pond 1 being Rp3,587,500. ,00. (three million five hundred eighty-seven thousand five hundred rupiah) and pool 2 is Rp. 13,511,000.00. (thirteen million five hundred and eleven thousand rupiah)

Abstract

This research is based on the company's planning for the procurement of digging and loading equipment and transportation equipment. The unit requirements planned by PT. Benal Aiti Bara Perkasa is 2 fleets and the Match Factor calculation is based on 2 operating fleetsIn this research, the method used is descriptive quantitative research method. This research will result in the compatibility of loading and unloading equipment and a comparison of the alternative of buying and renting units.Based on the results of the study, it shows that the equipment compatibility has not been achieved on the operating fleet. Based on his calculations, it can be seen that the unit requirements to achieve the Match Factor are 1 Excavator and 8 Dump Trucks. Alternative purchases and leases will provide existing investment components such as equipment procurement costs, operating costs and fixed costs that will affect the feasibility of investments such as Net Present Value (NVP) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The alternative purchase resulted in an NPV of Rp. 53,210,015,722, an IRR of 53.3% and a PI of 2.42. While the alternative rental NPV generated is Rp.29,090,911,882, IRR is 39.2% and PI is 1.82.
