Abstract

The issue of growing media and varieties, particularly for kale, remains significant as many farmers lack understanding of effective solutions. Thus, research on media treatment and variety selection is essential. A randomized complete block design (RCBD) was utilized in the experiment, followed by DMRT analysis. The results are as follows: The highest plant height was observed with the combination of soil and rice husk media using the Calvaro Nero variety. The best leaf width was achieved by the Curly variety. The highest fresh weight was obtained from the combination of the Calvaro Nero variety using rice husk and cocopeat as the growing media. The Curly variety showed the best dry biomass weight.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan abdimas pada tahun 2024 di mulai bulan Juni sampai awal Nopember bertempat di Kabupaten Boyolali. Peran penyuluh pertanian dioptimalkan untuk memacu percepatan kemandirian petani sayur organik. Hal abdimas sangat memuaskan para pihak, khususnya instansi BPP Cepogo ada kegiatan pengembangan profesionalisme penyuluh pertanian. Selain ini para petani antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran uji coba bercocok tanam tanaman kangkung darat.

Abstract

The implementation of community service has been carried out at the Agriculture and Fisheries Service of Sukoharjo Regency. Those present at the event were the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Head of Agrotechnology Study Program, Head of Agribusiness Study Program and Head of Animal Husbandry Study Program of UNIBA Surakarta. Meanwhile, from the Service, the representative of the Head of the Agriculture and Fisheries Service was present. The extension workers who attended were 17 agricultural extension workers. The community service method used was FGD (Focus Group Discussion). Guided by a moderator with the aim of initiating and exploring the objectives to be achieved. The results of this service are very encouraging that as the representative of the service, they are very enthusiastic to participate and will send their extension workers to training in the use of IoT and IA-based technology held by UNIBA Solo and mentoring is carried out until the extension workers are proficient in using it.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This studypaimsptopdeterminepthe appropriate dosepand time ofxadministration ofxTrichoderma sp to control Fusarium oxysporum disease in shallot plants. Thepresearch waspconductedpfrompSeptemberp2020ptoxDecemberx2020 in Karangasem Hamlet, Guli Village, Nogosari District, Boyolali Regency. Thispstudypusedpapfactorialpcompletely randomizedpdesign (RAL) methodpwhich consisted ofp2pfactors. Thepfirst treatmentpfactor was thepdose ofpTrichoderma sp (D) which consisted of 3 g, 5g, 7g and the time of administration (T) which was one week before planting, during planting and a week after planting. Parameterspobservedpwerepnumberpof leaves, number ofptubers, weightpof fresh stover, weight of dry stover and intensity of disease attack. The results showed that the treatment with the best Trichoderma sp (D) dose was obtained in the D3 treatment with a dose of 7 grams / liter of solution had a very significant effect on the number of leaves, fresh stover, dry stover, intensity of disease attack and not significantly different on the number of tubers. The best time treatment for giving Trichoderma sp (T) was obtained in T1 treatment, namely the time of administration one week before planting had a significant effect on the number of leaves, fresh stover, and was not significantly different on the number of tubers, dry stover, intensity of disease attack. Meanwhile, the best combination of dosage and time of administration of Trichoderma sp was obtained in the (D3T1) treatment, namely the administration of a dose of 7 grams / liter of solution and the time of administration one week before planting had a significant effect on dry stover and had no significant effect on other parameters. Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk diseminasi tanaman shorgum di acara solo anggrek festival yang diselenggarakan pada bulan Juli tahun 2025. Bertempat di gedung graha wisata niaga, Surakarta, sejak 19 hingga 27 Juli 2025, Metode pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan secara sosialisasi, edukasi, pameran produk dan pelatihan pada masyarakat pengunjung solo anggrek ferstival. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat sangat positif, peserta aktif dan antusias. Ditandai dengan banyaknya pertanyaan, diskusi dua arah dan tertarik untuk membeli dan mau menanam tanaman shorgun yang kami berikan secara gratis kepada samua pengunjung.

Abstract

Wick hydroponics (Wick) is the simplest method, because it does not use electricity. The purpose of the study was to determine the best fertilizer ratio and type of planting media for Dakota mustard plants. The study used a Randomized Complete Block Design Split Plot, which consisted of 2 factors, namely Fertilizer Ratio (P) with treatment: P0: 100% AB Mix, P1: POC Ratio 70% : 30% AB Mix, P2: Ratio 50% : 50% AB Mix, and Planting Media (M) namely M0: Rockwool, M1: Cotton, M2: Rice Husk Charcoal. The results showed that the P treatment had a very significant effect on all parameters. The M treatment had a significant effect on plant height, fresh weight of plants, and plant consumption weight, and had a very significant effect on leaf width and root length. The combination of fertilizer ratio treatment and type of planting media in P0M2 (100% AB Mix and rice husk charcoal planting media) had a very significant effect on leaf width, fresh weight, and consumption weight of Dakota mustard plants.

Abstract

Implementation of community service in national collaboration, collaboration between Batik Islamic University, Surakarta and Warmadewa University, Denpasar, Bali. It was carried out on February 6 2024, at Putra Susila UMKM which produces tuna skin crackers with an address in Denpasar, Bali. The method of community service is carried out using a mentoring method carried out jointly between the Batik Islamic University Surakarta team and Warmadewa University Denpasar. Meanwhile, supporting factors include: related to production, storage of raw materials, layout of cooking areas, packing and sales. The analysis used is triangulation of primary data, theory and expert opinion. From the results of community service, a conclusion can be drawn that assistance still needs to be provided regarding raw materials which are still fluctuating, sometimes abundant, sometimes empty, so raw material storage technology is needed. Layout techniques and production space are good, neat and separate from the household. Packing has several inputs, namely that it is not big enough. Marketing is still around Denpasar with pre-order patterns and product displays and participating in exhibitions.

Abstract

This research seeks to assess how organic and varietal planting media impact the growth and yield of lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa. L). The study was conducted using the Complete Group Random Design (CGRD) method with two treatment factors. The first factor involved three types of organic planting media: (M1) a blend of soil, manure, and burnt husks; (M2) a blend of soil, manure, and cocopeat; (M3) a blend of soil, manure, burnt husks, and cocopeat. The second factor comprised three varieties: (V1) Grand Rapid green lettuce, (V2) Red Rapid red lettuce, and (V3) Lollo Rossa red lettuce. The findings indicate that treatment (M3), consisting of soil, manure, burnt husks, and cocopeat, influences leaf width, plant weight, and dry stash weight. The best yield was observed in treatment (V1) with the Grand Rapid green lettuce variety showing significant effects across all parameters. The conclusions are as follows: 1. Organic growing media does not affect all observation parameters related to the growth and yield of lettuce plants. 2. Varietal differences have a noticeable impact on all observation parameters related to lettuce growth and yield. 3. The interaction between organic growing media and plant varieties significantly affects the observation parameters of plant height and plant weight, while it does not affect leaf width and dry stash weight.

Abstract

This study examines the profitability of Mapan P05 hybrid rice farming and the impact of production costs on farmers' income in Susukan Village, Banjarnegara Regency, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative approach with a field survey design, data were collected from 78 Mapan P05 rice farmers through structured interviews. Descriptive and multiple linear regression analyses were utilized to analyze the data. The findings reveal that Mapan P05 rice farming in Susukan Village is profitable, with an average net income of 17.3 million Rupiah per hectare per cropping season. The regression analysis further elucidated the significant role of efficient resource allocation, particularly in labor (coefficient 1.389) and land preparation (coefficient 5.109) influence farmer income, in augmenting farmers' profitability. The empirical model derived is Y = -19,997,135 + 5,420X1 + 0,198X2 + 0,540X3 + 1,389X4 + 5,109X5 + e, where Y represents farmer income, X1 denotes seed costs, X2 signifies fertilizer expenses, X3 represents pesticide costs, X4 denotes labor costs, and X5 signifies land preparation costs. The regression analysis underscoring the importance of efficient labor utilization and optimal investment in land preparation to enhance the profitability of Mapan P05 rice farming. This study provides empirical evidence that adopting high-yielding varieties like Mapan P05 seed can bolster production and income for farmers. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan dosis pupuk kandang bebek dan konsentrasi efektif mikroorganisme EM4 terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai merah di dataran rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pola faktorial dengan rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap yang terdiri dari dua faktor perlakuan. Perlakuan ke pertama adalah pupuk kandang bebek (B); B0: tanpa kompos bebek; B1: 250 gram; kompos bebek; B2; kompos bebek 500 gram. Perlakuan kedua, yaitu efektif mikroorganisme (E) (E1: konsentrasi 25 ml/liter air; E2: konsentrasi 50 ml/liter air; E3: konsentrasi 75 ml/liter air. Analisis menggunakan DMRT taraf 1 % dan 5 % dilakukan bila uji sidik ragam menunjukkan beda nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemberian pupuk kandang bebek (B) menghasilkan berbeda nyata pada pengamatan jumlah buah per tanaman dan pengamatan berat brangkasan kering per tanaman, sedangkan pengamatan tinggi tanaman, berat buah per tanaman tidak menunjukkan beda nyata.
