Abstract

Community service activities in the form of strengthening digital ecotourism through iconic spots are carried out to increase tourists' numbers, mostly visits by the millennial generation, which are identical to selfies and social media. This activity is intended for managers and the community of Wana Wisata Bedengan, which are located in Selorejo Village, Malang Regency, totaling ten people. Activities were carried out by using the Focus Group Discussion method to socialize and prepare for development, then assist in implementing the construction of iconic photo spots and evaluation of the implementation of the iconic photo spots. In its implementation, the focus group with the manager plays the leading role because the manager provides directions for the location to be added to the iconic photo spot. Community service contributes in the form of physical development of photo spots in the form of iconic main gates, iconic love lights, and iconic life circles. This activity provides conclusions: the number of tourists visiting is increasing, and the prestige of these tourist attractions will be increasingly famous on social media, especially among the millennial generation.

Abstract

The majority of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Malang is facing several problems, namely the lack of technology and innovation in terms of quality in production and marketing. In order to improve the competitiveness of the local economy of SMEs in Polehan Village, Malang State University through DRPM funding, it provides facilities assistance, online marketing training and business management. This activity is carried out with the intention that SMEs can be more competitive and independent for business development. In detail, the form of activities is to increase the application of science and technology in society through the design of operational training for large ball sewing machines, marketing through the Tokopedia marketplace, and business management. The results that have been achieved are increased marketing so that products / goods in the form of: footwear made from cow, sheep and snake skin can be distributed evenly through e-commerce. Abstract

Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan is one of the thematic villages in Malang City. Antiquity and historical value are the identities of this village. There are still many problems encountered through the development, there are uneven tourist spots on Dorowati Street from the observations made. Thus, it gives rise to the impression of a dualism of proper and inappropriate appearance as a tourism village. Through a service grant, the team provided a solution in the form of rejuvenating Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan through the manufacture of ethnic signposts and information boards for the location of standing points, location markers, and the cable installation above the Sukun River which in the process synergizes with POKDARWIS and the surrounding community to successful rejuvenation process. The results of the rejuvenation process of the Kampoeng Heritage Kajoetangan area have been carried out well with high contribution and synergy between the team, the community, and POKDARWIS in assisting the implementation of the activities in the installation of 9-point ethnic directions information boards and installation fireplaces above the Sukun River. The team hoped with rejuvenation could increase heritage village to attract more tourists after the pandemic and, in the long term, can provide a multiplier effect for the community around the heritage village.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan wilayah di Indonesia berkaitan erat dengan sektor informal, salah satu sektor informal yang berkembang pesat yaitu Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL). Namun keberadaan PKL memiliki sisi positif dan negatif, sisi positifnya, PKL mampu menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan, sedangkan sisi negatifnya keberadaan PKL yang tidak tertib justru menjadi beban bagi kota. Untuk mengakomodasi kedua hal tersebut, maka pemerinah daerah dalam menyususn kebijakan publiknya harus memperhitungkan keberadaan PKL. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana dampak kebijakan publik pemerintah kota Batu dalam menyususn tata ruang kota terhadap aktifitas PKL. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif melalui indepth interview dengan PKL di Alun –alun kota Batu, Pemerintah kota Batu, dan pembeli di sekitar alun-alun kota Batu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ketika pemerintah membuat kebijakan publik dengan cara merelokasi PKL ke tempat yang sudah disediakan, hal ini tidak dipatuhi oleh PKL. Masih banyak PKL yang tetap berada di bundaran alun-alun. Sesuai dengan penuturan PKL, mereka pada dasarnya bersedia pindah, namun tempat yang disediakan oleh pemerintah tidak dapat menampung semua PKL yang ada, sehingga tempat baru tersebut cenderung sepi. Oleh karena itu PKL kembali di bundaran alun-alun. Berdasarkan temuan ini, pemerintah sebaiknya lebih matang dalam pengelolaan tata kota serta lebih aktif untuk berdiskusi dengan PKL.

Abstract

Econometrics is an essential science in Development Economics because it can improve students' ability to process data and analyze economics. Monotonous lecture activities and student difficulties in lectures are associated with theories taught in real situations. One way to improve student's practical abilities is through innovative learning models. Learning innovations make students learn to be active in expressing discussions about current economic issues supported by analytical skills in the field, which will increase student enthusiasm. Through Project-based Learning (PjBL), students have to follow the learning process actively. Lecturers will be the leader to the process in order to giving the feedback and assess the learning process. This model enhances students' ability to solve problems directly and then solve them by engaging project work directly and enabling them to act and think creatively, improve collaborative skills, and increase enthusiasm. Using a quasi-experimental, the study involving a sample of 59 people taken by a simple random sampling technique. The data collected were analyzed using a one-time ANOVA test. The application of this model is carried out online and packaged by applying various combinations of technologies. Empirical evidence shows simultaneously significant differences in learning outcomes and problem-solving abilities in undergraduate students using the PjBL method compared to conventional methods. This study concludes that the PjBL model effectively improves the ability to think actively and solve problems for students in the Econometrics course. The implementation results of this study can be the innovative technology-based learning methods that are attractive to undergraduate students in subjects that require high critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 ini berdampak sangat besar pada sektor perekonomian pasar rakyat. Turunnya daya beli konsumen menyebabkan pendapatan pedagang di pasar rakyat menurun salah satunya Pasar Kasin. Adanya pandemi ini memberikan dampak yang besar pada Pasar Kasin Kota Malang. Hal ini dikarenakan menurunnya omset para pedagang dan menurunnya jumlah pedagang di Pasar Kasin. Berdasarkan laporan Kementerian Perdagangan, omset pedagang mengalami penurunan rata-rata 39% karena sepinya pembeli semasa pademi Covid-19. Sementara juga jumlah pedagang mengalami penurunan rata-rata 29%. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan strategi dari pihak-pihak terkait seperti pemerintah, serta pedagang untuk menjaga ketahanan Pasar Kasin di masa-masa pandemi Covid-19 seperti saat ini. Penelitian terkait strategi ketahanan Pasar Kasin Kota Malang di masa pandemi Covid-19 ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian secara deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk mendapatkan data secara menyeluruh dan mendalam tentang strategi ketahanan pasar rakyat di masa pandemi Covid-19. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian terkait ketahanan pasar, strategi yang tepat untuk Pasar Kasin di masa pandemi ini adalah pembenahan layanan pasar, revitalisasi pasar, membuat UKM corner, mengubah paradigma negatif menjadi positif, membuat aplikasi e-pasar, membuat paguyuban pedagang pasar, memasarkan keunggulan pasar, serta memanfaatkan pembayaran elektronik.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan penurunan penjualan yang signifikan bagi UMKM mebel Kayu Jati Pasuruan, bahkan ada yang gulung tikar. Meski desainnya yang polos dan minimalis diminati pasar mancanegara, di dalam negeri mereka kesulitan bersaing dengan produk Mebel Ukir Jati Jepara. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, dilaksanakan program yang memanfaatkan Instagram Business sebagai platform media sosial, katalog elektronik yang terintegrasi dengan Instagram Business, dan Whatsapp Business yang terintegrasi dengan Instagram Business. Metode partisipatif digunakan untuk memberdayakan mitra untuk secara aktif memecahkan masalah mereka sendiri. Hasil dari program tersebut cukup menjanjikan, dengan peningkatan potensi pasar ekspor produk UMKM Kayu Jati Pasuruan. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan UMKM pengrajin mebel Kayu Jati Pasuruan dan membantu perekonomian masyarakat setempat. Kata kunci—Covid-19, UMKM, Meubel Kayu Jati, Media Sosial, Persaingan Pasar, Ekspor Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a significant reduction in sales for Pasuruan Teak Wood furniture SMEs, with some even going out of business. Despite their plain, minimalist designs being favored by foreign markets, domestically, they struggle to compete with Jepara Teak Carved Furniture products. To address these issues, a program was implemented that utilized Instagram Business as a social media platform, electronic catalogs integrated with Instagram Business, and integrated Whatsapp Business with Instagram Business. The participatory method was used to empower partners to actively solve their own problems. The results of the program have been promising, with Pasuruan Teak Wood SMEs furniture products achieving escalation in export market potential. Abstract

The purpose of the service is to increase the added value of products on organic vegetables in  the Perumahan Bulan Terang Utama, Malang City.  Organic and superior vegetable products in the Perumahan Bulan Terang Utama include mustard greens, chilies, telang flowers. The activity is based on the concept of integrated marketing communication through 7P (Product, Promotion, Price (Distribution Channel), Place, People (HR), Process, Physical Evidence or Packaging. In this activity, the object of service was assisted in the form of mica, vegetable plastic and product branding stickers, and product logo branding to increase value-added and consumer interest in organic vegetables. In addition, another goal is to increase the branding of organic vegetable production to increase the market share and income of the managers (Botanical Garden community).  Through the training and assistance provided, it is hoped that it can increase the productivity of organic vegetables and inspire communities in other regions to care about the environment and the style of healthy living.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu untuk melakukan pendampingan penguatan kemampuan pemasaran UKM melalui Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan menggunakan community development practice. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu terciptanya SEO pada UKM yang berpotensi untuk meningkatkan skala penjualannya sampai ke seluruh Indonesia bahkan sampai ke luar negeri. Adanya pendampingan ini memiliki dampak peningkatan penjualan pada UKM yang telah memaksimalkan SEO. Sekitar 60% dari UKM yang telah memaksimalkan SEO mendapatkan kenaikan volume penjualan sampai 50% dalam waktu 1 bulan dengan jangkauan pasar yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Salah satu indicator majunya suatu desa yaitu dapat dilihat dari perencanaan desa dalam pengelolaan potensi desa. Saat ini, telah diketahui bahwa potensi pariwisata tumbuh sangat pesat, sehingga perlu menggali potensi wisata pada masing-masing desa. Sehingga penting sekali melakukan overview potensi desa baik dalam jangka pendek, menengah dan panjang. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk membantu pengembangan Desa Wisata Wonorejo melalui penyusunan masterplan sehingga mempermudah langkah penyusunan kebijakan terkait pengembangan desa wisata. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pengkajian karakter dan potensi desa dilanjutkan dengan FGD dan perancangan masterplan diawali pradesain, desain, dan terakhir penyerahan masterplan ke kepala desa. Hasil penelitian ini berupa masterplan berprinsip triple helix yang melibatkan masyarakat, pemerintah, dan akademisi, serta menggunakan konsep Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) sehingga memudahkan pemerintah desa dalam menentukan program prioritas pembangunan desa wisata dan memberdayakan masyarakat agar mandiri dalam menyelesaikan problematika yang ada. Dengan demikian, percepatan pembangunan Desa Wisata Wonorejo dapat terealisasi dengan optimal.
