Abstract

This study explored the utilization of a game-based assessment tool, Kahoot, as a formative test in the academic context focusing on the perspectives of teachers. With the increasing integration of technology into education, Kahoot has gained popularity as an interactive and engaging platform for assessing student learning. The research investigated how teachers perceive Kahoot as a formative assessment tool and its impact on their teaching practices. The qualitative approach was used in this study. Moreover, purposive sampling was administered to determine the subjects. The data in this study was collected through surveys and interviews with five lecturers of the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training of IAIN Lhokseumawe form different departments, namely; English Department, Arabic Department, and Indonesian Department to gain insights into their experiences and perspectives. The findings showed that teachers have a positive perspective on the utilization of kahoot as a formative test in academic performance. The results also revealed the advantages and challenges associated with using Kahoot as a formative test and shed light on its effectiveness in promoting active learning and student engagement. A gamed-based assessment called kahoot, facilitates teachers to save their time in assessing students’ comprehension through immediate feedback. Its accessibility simplifies teachers and students to do a test at every turn. Therefore, this research provides valuable insights into the practical use of game-based assessments in the academic setting and the implications for pedagogical approaches.

Abstract

eSPM sebagai aplikasi yang berbasis web menjadi salah satu aplikasi yang dapat membantu proses pengiriman SPM pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di Kantor Pelayanan Perbendaharaan Meulaboh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengajuan tagihan melalui aplikasi eSPM pada masa pandemi Covid-19, penilaian satuan kerja dan kendala yang dihadapi baik dari pihak operator maupun satuan kerja terkait aplikasi eSPM, dan menganalisis penggunaan aplikasi eSPM. Populasi penelitian yang digunakan adalah satuan kerja yang berada di 4 kabupaten wilayah Aceh. Metode penelitian yang diimplementasikan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan data primer berupa wawancara dan data sekunder berupa dokumen. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan hitungan presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengajuan tagihan melalui aplikasi eSPM dapat dilakukan dengan mengikuti langkah-langkah sederhana di dalam aplikasi eSPM. Berdasarkan dari segi manfaatnya, aplikasi eSPM dapat mempermudah pekerjaan satuan kerja, dapat memangkas waktu dan biaya perjalanan satuan kerja. Meskipun telah dikategorikan baik namun terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi oleh responden baik dari petugas KPPN maupun satuan kerja dalam penggunaan aplikasi eSPM, yakni adanya ketidakstabilan jaringan, gangguan pada server aplikasi dan terjadinya penambahan tugas pada petugas KPPN. Terakhir, jumlah SPM yang diusulkan lebih sedikit, namun jumlah SPM yang ditolak lebih besar.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the performance of BPJS Kesehatan Meulaboh employees and what obstacles are faced by BPJS Kesehatan Meulaboh employees during the covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted in July – August 2021. The research population consisted of all employees who worked at the BPJS Kesehatan Meulaboh and only 10% of the total of employees were taken as the samples. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive analysis method by collecting data through interview techniques. The results of this study indicate that as many as 80% of employees claim that the work done with the WFH system is not effective, the time and place of work are less flexible (58%) and employees are also less focused and comfortable with the system (58%) in order that it affects employee performance productivity. Although there are several positive sides such as being able to save time and money, employees experience several obstacles during WFH, namely having limitations in communicating with superiors, colleagues, and the community directly so that it has an impact on misunderstandings and disputes, lack of facilities and supporting media, and sometimes having bad network.
