Abstract

Scavengers is one that becomes part of the recycling bin. Many scavengers do mobility to the location of potentially penghasilkan garbage. On the other hand be a new alternative employment opportunities due to limited employment opportunities. How scavenger involvement of women in decision-making within the household became one kajain in writing.The results can be seen that the division of household labor that are scavengers Nonproduction: housekeeping, child, and the surrounding residential neighborhood, still didominai by women. As for productive work: looking nahkah, still dominated by men. Women’s access to and control over resources is still low. no one has a home. All land ownership, on behalf of the husband. The advice can be given is still there needs to be empowerment for scavengers, as most people still have not received with open existence.Keywords: division of labor, Household, Scavengers, Recycling

Abstract

This research aims to study the development of housing and livelihood diversification, population located in the Subdistrict of West and East Ungaran. The methods used to analyze the housing development process approach is use to analyze the spatial pattern of housing, with the nearest neighbor analysis, and to study the livelihood diversification using descriptive analysis. Based on these studies, the housing in the two districts ranging from 1986 until the year 2009 experienced a very rapid development, from the original only in one location in a village into 37 unit with locations spread over 12 village/town. Settlement patterns in the two districts are spread that attempted by the numbers of 2.59 and 1, 73. The livelihood of most of the population is non agriculture and only 10 percent whose livelihoods in agriculture. All household livelihood to diversify to meet the necessities of life.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the population growth and employment structure in Central Java. The analysis showed that during the last five decades the population growth rate in Central Java has experienced significant decrease. Although the growth rate has decreased to account for less than one percent each year, it is still an increase in open unemployment. The population residing in the village on the wane. Employment in the agricultural sector in rural areas there is a tendency increasingly unattractive labor force. Decade-long decline in the number of people working in agriculture decreased by almost 7 percent. Contribution of agriculture to the gross regional domestic product decreased to 19.85 percent
