Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the Braden Scale on the incidence of compressive wounds in elderly people who lived in homes, whether they were or not under the supervision of health workers. The research was analytic with a cross-sectional study. With the purposive sampling technique, the data collection was carried out from several areas in Bandung from October to November 2017. Moreover, the analysis used was multiple regression to see the effect of the Braden Scale on pressure ulcers. The multiple linear regression model was also tested. The results show that 48,22% of pressure ulcer factors can be influenced by sensory perception, humidity, activity, mobility, nutrition, and friction. Sensory perception, activity and friction have significant influence on incidence of pressure ulcers. Meanwhile, the humidity, mobility, and nutrition do not significantly influence it.

Abstract

Maximum utilization of solar energy requires the active role of the community. Several things can be done, namely by providing information related to solar energy with the large potential that can be obtained in its utilization. In addition, coaching to the community by providing basic knowledge about energy conversion from solar to electricity as well as practicing in proving the basic knowledge provided in the form of simple practice. Thus, the public can understand this solar energy as a whole, both with basic knowledge, conversion techniques, and practice. In Community Service activities by providing training related to the protection of the Solar Power Generation system or usually called PLTS. With the target participants, namely teachers and students of MA Ishlahul Amanah in Pengalengan District, Bandung Regency. The main activity is providing protection training and a set of PLTS as a learning medium for the use of new and renewable energy in the form of solar energy. Students today are required to be more creative and innovative in utilizing all the potential of nature, especially the use of alternative technologies, one of which is solar energy. The canning area is also a challenge in itself in the use of electricity technology for the need for support by using solar energy for electricity use. The results of this activity provide a positive appreciation. This can be seen from the evaluation of the activities carried out that participants, both students and teachers, chose to agree and strongly agree with the items in the written statement

Abstract

Photovoltaic (PV) technology is a renewable technology utilizing conversion of solar power or solar radiation into electrical energy. In the manufacture of Solar Power Generation systems, reference is needed regarding the cost of generation and scheduling of maintenance plans. To obtain this reference, it is necessary to predict the photovoltaic power output which is used to determine the power output of PV in the future. In this study, a system that is used to predict short-term power output in PV is designed. This system uses solar irradiation data and 42 days of power output in off-grid PV mini-grid as the dataset. The dataset obtained from the PV output is processed using the Support Vector Regression method with the Kernel Radial Basis Function (RBF) function. Based on the dataset used, this study succeeded in testing the best kernel, namely the RBF kernel. Evaluation of the prediction model obtained a smaller error value than other kernel tests with a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value of 21.082%, Mean Square Error (MSE) value of 0.122, and Mean Absolute Error (MAE) value of 0.262. The prediction model obtained is used to predict the short-term PV power output for the next 3 days. The results of the prediction model have an error value of 5.785 % for MAPE, 0.005 for MAE and 0.069 for MSE. Therefore, the predictive model can be categorized as very good and feasible to predict short-term power output

Abstract

Abstrak—Traffic light adalah salah satu teknologi yang perlu dikembangkan di Indonesia, dimana pengelolaan arus lalu lintas yang berdampak pada kelancaran atau kemacetan jalan. Penggunaan teknologi terbarukan pada traffic light masih sangat minim, penggunaan sensor maupun pengembangan sistem pada objek masalah ini harus dikembangkan sedemikian rupa agar dapat memenuhi pencapaian arus lalu lintas yang efektif dan efisien. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah YOLO ( You Only Look Once ), yang penerapannya berupa penerapan pada skenario traffic light simpang empat menggunakan data rekaman video arus lalu lintas. Penggunaan metode ini diharapkan dapat digunakan secara maksimal karena algoritma yang dikembangkan pada metode ini dikhususkan untuk mendeteksi objek secara real-time. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data yang diambil sebagai skenario simpang empat, didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa dengan empat rekaman video arus lalu lintas sebagai data utama didapat hasil tes data sample berupa konfigurasi akurasi(%), presisi(%), recall(%), dan F1 Score. Data hasil yang diambil dibuktikan pada skenario arus jalan kedua dengan hasil Akurasi tertinggi 69%, Presisi 89%, Recall 75%, dan F1 Score 0,8. Dan juga penerapan prototype sederhana berjalan cukup baik menggunakan serial communication antar OpenCV Python dengan Arduino Mega yang menghasilkan sistem perempatan yang otomatis dan efisien berdasarkan jumlah kendaraan pada sebuah ruas jalan. Abstract

Abstrak—Saat ini, salah satu sumber Energi Baru Terbarukan (EBT) yang menjanjikan dan banyak digunakan adalah energi matahari. Listrik dapat dihasilkan dari cahaya matahari menggunakan photovoltaic (PV). Namun, saat ini daya keluaran yang dihasilkan PV masih rendah yaitu antara 5% - 16%. Oleh kerena itu dibutuhkan suatu cara untuk meningkatkan daya keluarannya agar listrik yang dihasilkan semakin besar. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, akan dilakukan penelitian untuk meningkatkan keluaran daya PV dengan menggunakan kombinasi metode konvergensi cahaya dan metode penjejak matahari. Metode konvergensi cahaya dilakukan dengan media lensa fresnel dan metode penjejak matahari dilakukan dengan Motor DC berbasis waktu. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 3 hari yang berlokasi di Kampus Telkom University, Bandung. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggabungan kedua metode tersebut berhasil meningkatkan daya keluaran PV pada hari pertama sebesar 6,7882 watt atau 68%. Pada hari kedua berhasil meningkatkan daya keluaran PV sebesar 7,8655 watt atau 79%. Pada hari ketiga berhasil meningkatkan daya keluaran PV sebesar 6,9700 watt atau 70%. Jadi, rata-rata kenaikan daya keluaran PV yang dilengkapi dengan kombinasi metode konvergensi cahaya dan metode penjejak matahari pada penelitian ini adalah sebesar 7,20789 watt atau 72%. Abstract

Jumlah sumber energi terbarukan yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat Indonesia sangat luar biasa. Namun, masih sedikit sekali pemanfaatan sumber energi terbarukan ini. Peran aktif dalam masyarakat sangatlah diperlukan untuk memaksimalkan pemanfaatan energi terbarukan secara maksimal terutama dalam hal penggunaannya. Adapun di daerah Pangalengan, Jawa Barat ini sendiri pemanfaatan energi terbarukannya dapat bersumber dari energi surya. Diperlukanlah pembinaan kepada masyarakat mengenai pemanfaatan energi surya beserta dengan besarnya potensi yang dapat diperoleh dalam pemanfaatannya. Pembinaan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat dapat berupa pengetahuan dasar mengenai konversi energi dari surya menjadi listrik yang diikuti dengan adanya praktik sederhana. Hal ini bertujuan agar masyarakat dapat memahami terkait energi surya ini secara keseluruhan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyakat yang dilakukan merupakan penyuluhan terkait sistem monitoring pembangkit listrik teanag surya di MA Ishlahul Amanah. Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar dan peserta sangat antusias. Hal ini terlihat dari kepuasan dalam menjawab kuesioner peserta sangat setuju dengan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan.Kata Kunci: energi terbarukan; PLTS; konversi energi; energi surya; monitoring

Abstract

Solar photovoltaic monitoring system can be directly conducted locally for the experimental purposes. However, indirect or remote monitoring is also needed since the solar panel are often installed in a a high place, rural location, or remote area. This study offers a dual solar panel monitoring system i.e. local and remote. Local monitoring system consists of voltage, current, temperature and light intensity sensors that were integrated in a kit called PVmeter. The data in the local monitoring system were displayed on a LCD or on a PC monitor using data logger. While in the remote monitoring system, the data were uploaded to the internet and displayed on Thinkspeak website hence the data are accessible whenever and wherever needed. In the local system, monitored data were successfully displayed on *.txt file format for every 5 minutes. While in the remote system, the data were successfully displayed on Thinkspeak website with a mean transfer rate of 52.5 seconds.

Abstract

Purpose: The students of MA Islahul Amanah are the next generation of the nation who must take their steps to reach the future. Most of them have constraints in terms of costs to continue on to higher education. Thus, a motivation or direction is needed for MA Ishlahul Amanah students about entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is the right alternative choice to overcome unemployment. This is to encourage them to be more independent after completing their school education. At least they are not a burden to their parents, but can help their family's economy Methodology/approach: The methods used are: (1) condition survey; (2) team conciliation to discuss the activities carried out; (3) preparation to determine the implementation time and equipment to be prepared; (4) implementing activities by conducting online entrepreneurship training; (5) evaluation of activities to measure the achievement of activities with a questionnaire. Results/findings: Participants receive tips on building start-ups, namely innovating business ideas, creating business models, raising capital, inviting like-minded people to maintain service/product quality and "don't give up". Apart from that, they also gain knowledge and experience related to what the speaker has experienced because the material provided is also based on their own experience. This activity was also well achieved based on the results of the questionnaire which achieved an average percentage of agreeing is 77.33% and the percentage strongly agreeing is 20%. Conclusion: Community Service Activities with activities in the form of entrepreneurship training to increase interest in entrepreneurship for MA Ishlahul Amanah students run smoothly and goals are achieved. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaire, the participants chose to agree and strongly agree with the program being carried out because it met the needs of the participants.

Abstract

One of the factors affecting student learning outcomes is the learning process in the classroom. A teacher-centered learning process provides little learning experience for students. Student-centered learning needs to be developed so that students may experience meaningful learning and achieve good outcomes. The purpose of this study was to see the different cognitive learning outcomes caused by the implementation of two cooperative learning methods: jigsaw and TAI. The research method used is a quantitative quasi experiment with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Student learning outcomes were measured by a post test. The difference in the learning outcomes were tested using a t-test. The research concludes that there is a significant difference of cognitive learning outcomes between students who are given cooperative learning jigsaw type (mean 43.14) and TAI (mean 47.85).ABSTRAK BAHASA INDONESIA: Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi hasil belajar siswa adalah proses pembelajaran di kelas. Pembelajaran yang berpusat kepada guru cenderung memberikan sedikit pengalaman belajar kepada siswa. Pembelajaran yang berpusat kepada siswa perlu dikembangkan agar siswa dapat mengalami pembelajaran yang bermakna dan mendapatkan hasil belajar yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif karena penerapan dua jenis pembelajaran kooperatif yaitu jigsaw dan TAI pada dua kelas yang berbeda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Hasil belajar siswa diukur menggunakan nilai post-test. Perbedaan hasil belajar  dianalisis menggunakan uji t.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan (hasil belajar ranah kognitif antara siswa yang diberikan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw (mean 43.14) dengan tipe TAI (mean 47.85).
