Abstract

This study aims to assess the level of degradation and depreciation of the Layaran fishery in the North Coast of Aceh. The method used in this research includes stock assessment using the Clarke Yoshimoto Pooley (CYP) Bioeconomic model to assessing the degradation and depreciation that has occurred in the Layaran fishery. The estimated production value of the Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) is 4.63 tonnes per year which is greater than the actual production value of 3.33 tonnes per year and the MSY effort value is 36,642 trips per year which is greater than the actual effort 16,972 trips per year show that there has not been overfishing in the Layaran fishery, both in terms of production and fishing effort. Sailfish fisheries during the period 2009 to 2017 were also still in a non-degraded and depreciated condition as indicated by the coefficient values of the Degradation and Depreciation rates which were lower than the standard coefficient values with each value of 0.32 for the Degradation rate and 0.26 for the Depreciation rate.

Abstract

Nile tilapia is a freshwater fish that is widely cultivated in Indonesia. During its development, tilapia aquaculture has constraints such as low growth rates. Therefore, it is necessary to add a feed additive to the feed in the form of charcoal. Charcoal is an adsorbent that has high absorption so that the addition of charcoal in the feed can increase the absorption of nutrients of tilapia. A 45-days trial was conducted to determine the percentage of addition of triggerfish bone charcoal (Abalistes stellaris) as a feed supplement that affect the growth performance and intestines of tilapia. The research design was a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 2 replications as treatments including: treatment A (control), B (addition of 1%charcoal), C (addition of 2% charcoal) and D (addition of 3% charcoal). A total of 240 tilapia fingerlings (5-7 cm) were used and placed in 8 aquariums then filled with 72 liters of water. Providing adlibitum (unlimited) feed with a frequency of 2 times a day. The ANOVA test showed that the addition of triggerfish bone charcoal (A. stellaris) in the feed was not significantly different (P 0.05) in weight growth, absolute length and daily length growth but it was significantly different (P 0.05) in feed conversion ratio and the efficiency of feed utilization. Based on result, it was concluded that the addition of 3% charcoal was the best treatment which gave the lengthiest of villi which was increasing the length of the intestinal villi to 71.11 µm from the initial length of 162.22 µm. easel at 233.33 μm, showed the highest feed conversion ratio value and feed efficiency (1.12 %, 89.6%).Keywords:CharcoalFish boneIntestinal histologyStarry triggerfish

Abstract

Ikan komet (Carassius auratus) merupakan ikan hias air tawar yang banyak  digemari oleh para pecinta ikan hias. Adapun kendala yang sering dihadapi oleh para pembudidaya ikan komet, memudarnya warna apabila dipelihara dalam jangka  waktu yang lama. Upaya mempertahankan kecerahan warna perlu dilakukan dikarenakan semakin cerah warna ikan maka daya tarik ikan akan semakin tinggi serta nilai ekonomis ikan tersebut meningkat. Manipulasi pakan merupakan strategi  untuk meningkatkan kecerahan warna ikan. Bayam merah dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pigmen alami. Daun bayam merah mengandung pigmen karotenoid dan antosianin yang merupakan pigmen alami yang dapat penghasilkan warna biru, ungu, magenta, merah, dan kuning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penambahan ekstraksi bayam merah kedalam  pakan terhadap kecerahan warna ikan komet. Metode penelitien menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan  menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap 4 perlakuan, perlakuan A (10% ekstrak  bayam merah) B (15% ekstrak bayam merah) C (20% ekstrak bayam merah) D (0% ekstrak/kontrol) dan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan C merupakan dosis yang paling efektif untuk  peningkatan jenis warna ikan komet dengan nilai peningkatan  kecerhan warna sebesar (4.22) diikuti oleh perlakuan B dengan nilai peningkatan kecerahan warna sebesar (4.00) selanjutnya perlakuan A memiliki peningkatan kecerahan warna sebasar (2.00).Perlakuan dengan peningkatan warna yang terendah terdapat pada perlakuan D dengan nilai sebesar(1.11).

Abstract

Gouramy (Osphronemus gouramy) is a superior type of freshwater fish that has important economic value and promising business prospects. This fish belongs to the type of plant-eating fish (Herbivores) and also has additional respiratory equipment so that gourami can live in low oxygen conditions, but gourami has the disadvantage of relatively slow growth. Feed is one of the external factors that influence fish growth, besides that feed also contributes greatly to 60-70% of production costs. Aquatic plants (Wolffia arhizza) have quite good nutritional components because these plants contain protein accompanied by essential amino acids. This study aims to determine the effect of wolffia plants (Wolffia arhizza) on growth, as well as to determine the conversion value and efficiency of gourami feed, using an experimental method using a Complete Randomized Design consisting of 3 treatments, Treatment A (10% Wolffia plants) B (3% commercial feed) C (Combination feed) and 3 repeats. The results of this study showed that treatment A gave the best value where PP: 2.94 cm, PB: 4.99 gr, and SGR: 4.95%. As for feed quality, the C treatment gave the best EP: 3.77%, and FCR: 1.42 also the survival showed that the C treatment gave the highest value of SR: 0.80%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai sumberdaya dan menganalisis tingkat Overexploitation of fishery resources with an open access system is still a serious threat because it leads to reduced fish stocks. This research aims to assess resources and analyze the level of degradation and depreciation of mackerel fish resources landed in Kutaraja Aceh Fishing Port using the Clarke Yoshimoto Pooley (CYP) bioeconomic model approach. The methods in this research include standardization of fishing gear using the fishing power index, sustainable potential analysis using the CYP model which is used to assess the sustainability of mackerel fish resources, degradation analysis and depreciation analysis to see the extent of depreciation of fishery resources. The results of the analysis show that the actual production of mackerel is 4.07 tons/year, which exceeds the Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) production of 3.3 tons/year. The actual fishing effort also reached 17,137 trips/year while the sustainable fishing effort (effort MSY) was only 6,351 trips/year. This value shows that the Mackerel fish resource has experienced overfishing both in terms of production and fishing effort. During the analysis period, the mackerel fish resource had experienced depreciation because it had exceeded the threshold (0.5) with an average depreciation coefficient of 0.989. However, mackerel fish did not show degradation of mackerel fish resources, namely 0.458, which was still below the threshold (0.5). However, this figure has almost exceeded the threshold so it deserves special attention from the government so that the mackerel fish resources landed at the Kutaraja Aceh Fishing Port will remain sustainable.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of traditional drying methods on several types of fish. Comparing the quality of dried fish products from drying with the SNI requirements for dried fish, looking for methods that are suitable for types of fish in traditional drying. Optimal time to produce the best quality fish. The research results showed that drying this type of fish was different from drying it under direct sunlight for 8 hours per day for 3 days. The average value of percent water content obtained ranged from 26% -32%. It was concluded that drying using traditional methods could be the right choice for drying fish.

Abstract

Tiram merupakan salah satu jenis kerang (Bivalvia) yang memiliki nilai ekonomis. Tiram tersedia dalam berbagai bentuk, tekstur, dan ukuran. Kondisi tersebut mempengaruhi pertumbuhan tiram, Pada umumnya jenis Bivalvia adalah pemangsa atau pemakan makanan yang berasal dari dasar perairan atau disebut (deposit feeder) seperti mikroorganismes maupun plankton serta material organik yang tersuspensi dalam media air tempat Bivalvia hidup atau sering disebut (suspension feeder). Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai dari bulan Maret – Juni 2023, selama tiga bulan di wilayah perairan Pantai Alue Naga, Kecamatan Syiah Kuala, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Pengambilan sampel dilaksanakan satu kali setiap bulan. Pengecekan diambil dari ke tiga wadah yang berbeda perlakuan,dengan metode stratified random sampling. Alu naga merupakan stasiun kawasan mangrove yang lebih didominasi oleh sistem laut (sistem non muara sungai). Dalam perlakuan ini ada 9 wadah yang akan di gunakan. wadah yang pertama menggunakan cangkang tiram utuh, wadah ke dua menggunakan cangkang tiram yang sudah pecah, dan yang ke tiga tidak menggunakan cangkang tiram, setiap wadah memiliki 3 substrat. kemudian selanjutnya di gantungkan pada tali dengan panjang 2 meter. Jarak masing-masing antara 3 wadah yang menggunakan cangkang tiram dan dengan wadah yang lain adalah 1,5cm. jarak antara wadah adalah 0,5cm, kedalaman kisaran 1m dari permukaan perairan. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian, di analisis menggunakan analisis Uji signifikasi individual atau yang lebih dikenal dengan uji statistik T merupakan proses analisis data secara parsial

Abstract

Jiwa entrepreneur tidak dibawa sejak lahir, namun harus diciptakan dan dipupuk sejak dini. Seseorang yang terbiasa melatih kewirausahaan sejak dini memiliki keuntungan dan perspektif yang berbeda dalam berwirausaha, dan menjadi modal penting bagi anak untuk mengembangkan produktivitas dan kemandirian ketika dewasa nanti. Anak yang di didik untuk memiliki jiwa entrepreneur memiliki kreatifitas, inisiatif dan kepercayaan diri yang tinggi untuk menjadi professional seperti yang di cita-citakan. Selama ini usia sekolah terutama anak yang masih dududk di bangku Sekolah dasar minim akan pembelajaran terkait wirausaha, sehingga anak-anak tumbuh dengan maindset kelak dewasa harus menjadi pegawai negeri untuk bekerja, sedikit sekali generasi milenial yang tumbuh dengan jiwa entrepreneur tinggi. berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan semangat wirausaha sejak dini kepada anak-anak di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Lamkrak, Aceh Besar. Sehingga kelak generasi milenial Indonesia mampu menghadapi ketatnya persaingan dan tantangan di era globalisasi MEA (Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN) dan merubah pola pikir anak bahwa sukses itu bukan harus menjadi seorang pegawai pemerintahan, namun bagaimana bisa membuka lapangan kerja bagi orang lain, sejak dini sudah ditanamkan mindset sukses adalah menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan bukan mencari lapangan pekerjaan.
