Abstract

Resources of fossil fuel continue to decrease and cannot be renewed so that replacement alternative is needed. Biofuels (biodiesel) become one of the alternatives because it can be renewed and environmentally friendly. First-generation biodiesel from food sources and second generation of food waste can disrupt the availability of food. Those are inefficient because it requires extensive land for its provider. Seed of nyamplung (Callophylum inophyllum) is very potential as biodiesel raw material because of its oil content 40-70% is high compared to other types of plants, such as jatropha range of 40-60% and palm of 46-54%, raw materials saving and having twice of fuel as much as kerosene. The general purpose of this research is to produce third generation biodiesel from nyamplung  as material to overcome fossil fuel crisis especially for fishermen and farmers in coastal area of Brebes Regency and surrounding areas. To be able to achieve the goal / general target is done by assessing oil content in nyamplung seed, biodiesel synthesis, intensive culture techniques and models of development of mass culture. The biodiesel yield produced from nyamplung seed oil in this study was 82.87%, in the range of biodiesel yields of previous researchers through a single stage transesterification of 79.03-91,00%. Cetana number and alkyl ester figures in the resulting biodiesel respectively 79.5 and 99.71% have met the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The resulting density was 893.1 kg / m3, fog point  was 20oC and total glycerol  was 0.26%, was approaching the SNI by an insignificant difference, while the acid number generated was 1.86 mg KOH/gr of biodiesel and the biodiesel viscosity was 15.7 mm2 /s has not fulfilled the SNI significantly. To improve the number of acids and viscosity is still needed refinement biodiesel synthesis process through the diversification of the number of esterification stages, alternative types and catalytic levels or optimization of transesterification reaction temperature.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Desa Cempaka terletak di Kecamatan Bumijawa Kabupaten Tegal.Secara geografis, Desa Cempaka berada di kaki Gunung Selamet dengan luas 8000 ha dan berada pada ketinggian 500 – 650 Mdpl Berdasarkan hasil sensus pada tahun 2019 menyatakan bahwa desa cempaka memiliki luas wilayah 427,94 m2 dengan populasi jumlah penduduk 7904 jiwa terbagi menjadi 3.685 jiwa laki-laki dan 4.219 jiwa perempuan sangat strategis dan memiliki banyak potensi alam yang seharusnya dapat meningkatkan produktivitas warganya.Potensi alam yang ada di Desa cempaka telah dimanfaatkan oleh Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) sehingga pada tahun 2017 desa tersebut dijadikan salah Satu Desa Wisata Kabupaten Tegal dengan destinasi Pasar Slumpring, Tuk Mudal, dan Bukit Bulak Cempaka.Namun walaupun desa tersebut sudah menjadi Desa Wisata, masih banyak anggota Pokdarwis yang belum berkomitmen dengan program tersebut dikarenakan hasilnya belum memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Hal ini didukung oleh Pemerintah Desa dalam melakukan konservasi mata air pada lahan pertanian.Sebagaimana diketahui, ada 7 sumber mata air dalam satu kawasan tersebut yang mengairi 160 hektare sawah. Beliau Khawatir jika mata air tersebut mati, dan akhirnya bersama pemuda setempat melakukan pemeliharaan dan pembuatan talud supaya lumpur dari luar tidak masuk. Sebagai upaya untuk memaksimalkan dalam melakukan pendampingan, Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan analisis SWOT dan Analisis Hirarki Proses (AHP) Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan nilai pada matrik IFAS diperoleh nilai total faktor internal sebesar 4,17 dan EFAS diperoleh nilai total faktor eksternal sebesar 3,07 dengan demikian berdasarkan perhitungan skor pada Matrik IFAS dan EFAS dengan dimasukkan ke internal dan eksternal Strategi Pengembangan dan Pengelolaan Potensi Tuk Mudal Sebagai Destinasi Wisata Melalui Kegiatan Budidaya Lobster (Cherax lorents) di Desa Cempaka Kecamatan Bumijawa Kabupaten Tegal Dengan demikian strategi pengembangan yang perlu dilakukan Peningkatan Teknologi Budidaya dapat dilakukan dengan memperkuat strategi jaringan pemasaran berdasarkan teknis pemeliharaan dan teknologi budidaya yang dapat direkomendasikan adalah pengembangan berdasarkan komoditas budidaya dan aplikasi teknologi budidaya secara intensif . . In geographically, Cempaka Village is at the foot of Mount Selamet with an area of ​​8000 ha and is located at an altitude of 500 - 650 meters above sea level. However, even though the village has become a Tourism Village, there are still many Pokdarwis members who have not committed to the program because the results have not met daily needs. This is supported by the Village Government in conserving springs on agricultural land. As is known, there are 7 springs in one area that irrigate 160 hectares of rice fields. He was worried that the spring would die, and in the end, together with local youths, he carried out maintenance and construction of a dam so that mud from outside would not enter. As an effort to maximize the assistance, the method used in this research is qualitative with SWOT analysis and Process Hierarchy Analysis (AHP). Based on the results of the calculation of the value in the IFAS matrix, the total value of internal factors is 4.17 and EFAS is obtained the total value of external factors is 3.07. Mudal As a tourist destination through lobster cultivation activities (Cherax lorents) in Cempaka Village, Bumijawa District, Tegal Regency. Thus, the development strategy that needs to be carried out. Improvement of cultivation technology can be done by strengthening the marketing network strategy based on technical maintenance and cultivation technology which can be recommended is development based on cultivated commodities and intensive application of cultivation technology. Abstract

Ponds in Indonesia, especially in Brebes district, usually produce export-oriented fishery products that have high economic value. One of the fishery products currently being developed is vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). The presence of plankton in the water can be used as an indicator of water quality because it is strongly influenced by water quality. The purpose of this study was to estimate the abundance and stability of pond water from biological measurements (variation, diversity, and dominance of plankton) in the Sawojajar vannamei shrimp ponds. The method used is quantitative and descriptive at random. The results showed that the value of the abundance of phytoplankton ranged from 3451 to 6895 cells/mL, with the highest relative abundance being the type of Bacillariophyta. Meanwhile, the abundance of zooplankton ranged from 45 to 525 ind/mL, with Rotifera having the highest relative abundance. The diversity index status (H') is moderate, the uniformity index (E) is high, and the dominance index is low. Abstract

This research aims to identify problems and opportunities for economic development in tiger prawn cultivation, which is an important part of implementing pilot program activities to accelerate the dissemination of cultivation technology innovation in the Brebes Regency and its surroundings. The method used in this research is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) with techniques for collecting information and recognizing community needs through questionnaires. The research results showed that 91.7% of respondents in 3 Brebes sub-districts had shrimp cultivator groups. The activity of the shrimp cultivator group in this study was 83.3%, indicating that the cultivator group was running. In terms of the area of pond land for cultivators, more than 66.7% of pond cultivators have land with an area of more than 50 Ha. Regarding the infrastructure factor around the pond, respondents answered that 58.3% of respondents answered that infrastructure allows for the success of tiger prawn cultivation. Regarding the ease of marketing factor, 83.3% of respondents answered that marketing was easy.  Meanwhile, in the profit survey, 25% of respondents answered that they had made profits of more than 20 million, while 41.7% of respondents answered that they had made profits of 1 to 5 million. Based on the research results, it is very possible to develop tiger prawn cultivation in the Brebes area.

Abstract

Ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) merupakan salah satu komoditas perikanan yang digemari masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan protein hewani karena memiliki daging yang tebal serta rasa yang enak. Ikan nila juga merupakan ikan primadona ekspor yang terus meningkat dibuktikan dengan jumlah permintaan yang terus meningkat tiap tahunnya. Dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi ikan nila, maka perlu dilakukan pengujian Media air yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan ikan nila agar dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui media air yang lebih baik antara air hujan atau air tawar terhadap tingkat pertumbuhan ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan dua perlakuan yang berbeda, 3 kali ulangan. Variabel perubahan adalah variabel air hujan, air tawar dan kontrol yaitu: Perlakuan A1 (air tawar yang difilter), A2 (air hujan yang di filter), K1 (kontrol 1, air tawar yang tidak di filter) dan K2 (kontrol 2, air hujan yang tidak di filter). Kualitas air dalam hubungannya dengan parameter fisika (suhu dan oksigen terlarut) serta parameter kimia (pH, salinitas, Ca, Mg, CO3, HCO3, PO4, NO2, amonia dan TOM). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat pertumbuhan ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) yang dipelihara pada media air hujan tidak berbeda nyata (P ˃ 0,05) dengan yang dipelihara pada air tawar.   Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is one of the fishery commodities that is popular with the public to meet their animal protein needs because it has thick flesh and a delicious taste. Tilapia is also a favorite export fish which continues to increase as evidenced by the number of requests which continues to increase every year. In an effort to increase tilapia production, it is necessary to test suitable and good water media in order to increase the growth of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). This research aims to determine which water medium is better, rainwater or freshwater, on the growth rate of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). The method used in this research was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two different treatments, 3 repetitions. The change variables were rainwater, freshwater and control variables, namely: Treatment A1 (filtered freshwater), A2 (filtered rainwater), K1 (control 1, unfiltered freshwater) and K2 (control 2, water unfiltered rain). Water quality in relation to physical parameters (temperature and dissolved oxygen) and chemical parameters (pH, salinity, Ca, Mg, CO3, HCO3, PO4, NO2, ammonia and TOM). The results of the study showed that the growth rate of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) kept in rainwater was not significantly different (P ˃ 0.05) from that kept in fresh water.

Abstract

Both mangroves and crab cultivation contribute to sustainable development and positively impact local communities and ecosystems. Here are some of the values associated with their product. The advantage of this mangrove crab cultivation business can be maximal if the cultivated crabs achieve normal growth and maximum results. The demand for crabs is currently very large in domestic and international markets. Determination of alternative patterns value in aquaculture analysis can be identified in Kaliwlingi Village. The socio-economic value has a new concept between characteristics cultivation with income production costs, a major achievement step in realizing Indonesia's best just and prosperous society.
