Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on society, especially in the field of education. Various educational activities are carried out online, so the Service Team holds online AutoCAD 3D training activities to add insight into education and technical design for communities affected by Covid-19. The stages of the program that have been implemented are, the first stage of pre-training which consists of an online survey to communities affected by COVID-19, the design of the AutoCAD 3D training module, and preparation of making online media such as websites, Instagram, and YouTube. The second stage is training which consists of registration of affected communities, online media publications, and online training using online media meetings that are integrated with websites, Instagram, and YouTube. The third stage is post-training in the form of an evaluation to analyze the satisfaction of people who have attended AutoCAD 3D Online training. The results of the analysis of community satisfaction with the facilitators, facilities, presenters, and materials stated that they were 100% very satisfied and satisfied. In addition, the training was also 100% running as expected based on the results of the participant's evaluation.

Abstract

Dampak terjadinya Covid-19 di masyarakat Indonesia telah menghambat kegiatan diberbagai macam sektor secara langsung termasuk pendidikan. Sejak permulaan adanya Covid-19 di Indonesia, mulai dari sekolah tingkat dasar hingga perguruan tinggi telah dianjurkan untuk belajar di rumah secara online. Laboratorium Struktur, Material dan Produksi Bangunan Laut, Departemen Teknik Kelautan, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) adalah salah satu fasilitas di perguruan tinggi negeri yang mempunyai tenaga teknisi yang profesional dalam menguasai software AutoCAD. Sehingga, tim pengabdi menawarkan ide AUTOVID (AutoCAD Covid-19) sebagai media pelatihan software AutoCAD secara online untuk masyarakat terdampak Covid-19. Adapun sistem pelatihan online yang telah dilaksanakan adalah, melalui media aplikasi meeting online dengan sistem pengenalan, pembelajaran, tugas dan ujian. Selain itu, tim pengabdi menyediakan website yang mengandung konten kumpulan materi autocad dan dapat diakses secara gratis oleh semua masyarakat yang terdampak Covid-19. Manfaat dari pelatihan AutoCAD secara online adalah, menghasilkan tenaga ahli desain dan kedepannya bisa digunakan untuk modal usaha dibidang desain bagi masyarakat terdampak Covid-19. Sehingga, secara tidak langsung dapat meningkatkan sektor pendidikan dan perekonomian di Indonesia. Harapan kedepannya pelatihan ini terus berlanjut setiap tahunnya dan menambah kemampuan peserta yang semakin terasah sampai menghasilkan produk dari hasil desain menggunakan AutoCAD.

Abstract

Salah satu zat gizi yang amat penting bagi pertumbuhan, kesehatan, dan kecerdasan adalah protein. Sumber makanan yang mengandung banyak sekali protein adalah ikan, yang amat melimpah sebagai salah satu kekayaan alam Indonesia. Selain kaya akan protein, ikan pun mengandung asam lemak esensial omega-3 jenis DHA (decosahexaenoic acid) yang baik bagi kesehatan sebab dapat mengurangi resiko penyakit jantung, mencegah peningkatan tekanan darah, menghambat proses kepikunan termasuk alzheimer, serta mampu menekan risiko penyakit- penyakit autoimmun dan masalah emosional. Meningkatkan minat masyarakat dalam mengkonsumsi ikan ini menjadi fokusan yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas asupan gizi masyarakat, dan yang kedua, bertumbuhnya perekonomian nelayan kecil dan usaha kuliner ikan. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah memberdayakan kelompok wanita nelayan kecil yang sekaligus sebagai penjual olahan hasil laut termasuk ikan untuk meningkatkan minat masyarakat dalam mengkonsumsi ikan. konsep eko-efisiensi dalam melakukan identifikasi masalah bertujuan untuk memperoleh efisiensi dari aspek ekonomi dan ekologi. Program ini menitikberatkan dalam pengembangan keekonomian dari penerima manfaat. keberlanjutan dari program tersebut dan kemandirian dari penerima manfaat ketika tim pengabdi telah selesai melaksanakan program secara waktu. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menyesuaikan situasi dan kondisi pandemic covid-19, sehingga sebagian kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring dan sebagian lainnya secara luring terbatas, atau dengan kata lain pelaksanannya bersifat blended.

Abstract

Mejono merupakan sebuah desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Plemahan, Kabupaten Kediri, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Di Desa Mejono terdapat sebuah sungai bernama Gronjong Wariti yang dijadikan tempat wisata dengan wahana yang tersebar di sepanjang sungai. Tingginya aktivitas pengunjung dan banyaknya pohon bambu yang tumbuh disepanjang Sungai Gronjong Wariti menimbulkan peningkatan timbunan sampah yang memberikan dampak buruk bagi kesehatan, lingkungan, ekonomi, serta mengurangi nilai estetika. Dari observasi permasalahan yang ada pada mitra, tim pengabdian masyarakat Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember menawarkan solusi yakni edukasi pemilahan sampah dan mengelola sampah organik menjadi kompos menggunakan media bata terawang. Edukasi pemilahan sampah menjadi sampah organik dan anorganik dilakukan kepada pengelola, warga sekitar dan pengunjung wisata Gronjong Wariti. Tempat pilah sampah diberikan di tempat yang mudah dijangkau di area Wisata. Pembangunan Bata Terawang dengan warna yang menarik ditempatkan di titik yang menghasilkan sampah organik terbanyak tiap harinya. Proses pengomposan media Bata Terawang dimulai dengan pengisian sampah organik, penyemprotan EM4, pengadukan dan pemanenan kompos. Waktu yang dibutuhkan mulai dari tahap pengisian sampah sampai tahap pemanenan diperkirakan memakan waktu 40 hari.

Abstract

Pada era modern ini, kebutuhan manusia terhadap material pada bidang kontruksi bangunan laut seperti pemilihan bahan untuk bidang perpipaan, konstruksi bangunan laut dan perkapalan. terdapat beberapa macam pilihan material yang sesuai.Korosi yang terjadi pada logam tidak dapat dihindari, tetapi hanya dapat dicegah dan dikendalikan sehingga logam mempunyai masa pakai atau guna lebih lama. Pemberian lapisan coating anti korosi merupakan salah satu untuk melindungi material dari proses korosi. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan pengujian kekuatan adhesi dan pengujian laju korosi pada Epoxy Coating pada baja ASTM A36 yang divariasikan dengan mengubah suhu material spesimen. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hasil kualitas coating yang dilakukan masih memenuhi standar dengan dilakukan variasi suhu spesimen. Dari pengujian adhesi yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa suhu spesimen 500 C mempunyai hasil yang paling baik. Pada pengujian dengan variasi suhu 500 C mendapatkan nilai kekuatan adhesi sebesar 8.81 Mpa.

Abstract

Penentuan model turbulen memiliki peranan penting dalam proses simulasi computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Beberapa macam model turbulen berdasarkan viskositas eddy dipakai agar waktu komputasi lebih singkat. VAWT tipe Darrieus dengan profil NACA 633-18 digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Simulasi CFD 2-dimensi dengan ketelitian tinggi dilakukan secara transient menggunakan pertambahan sudut azimut sebesar 10. Komputasi dilakukan hingga beberapa kali revolusi sampai didapat perubahan koefisien daya (Cp) akhir kurang dari 5%. Nilai y+ kurang dari 1 diberikan pada daerah dekat trailing edge dipermukaan foil. Variasi model turbulen yang dibandingkan diaantaranya adalah Spalart-Allmaras (S-A), realizable k-ɛ, Shear Stress Transport (SST) k-ω dan transition SST k-ω. Kurva Cp-TSR seluruh variasi model turbulen memiliki perilaku yang mirip, kecuali SST k-ω. Matrik kesesuaian hasil simulasi CFD pada vertical axis turbine (VAWT) dipresentasikan dalam bentuk error relatif terhadap data eksperimental. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa realizable k-ɛ memberikan Cp yang paling akurat, sedangkan model turbulens Spalart-Allmaras memiliki eror paling besar. Penggunaan transition SST k-ω yang mampu memperhitungkan efek aliran transisi dan intermitensi turbulen memberikan akurasi baik namun kurang memuaskan pada TSR tinggi.

Abstract

Coronavirus belongs to the ARI (Acute Respiratory Infection) disease, which has a high level of mortality risk. In 2019, this virus was transformed into Covid-19 with a rapid spread and a more massive impact. This disease has become a worldwide pandemic. Indonesia is a developing country and is included as one of the most densely populated countries affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, which has great potential to fail in overcoming this problem. Approximately 60% of Indonesia's population lives in coastal areas with low levels of welfare in almost all sectors of life such as social, economic, education, and health. This study aims to analyze the level of community vulnerability in the coastal area of Surabaya City by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method. From the data taken by the survey, the results of the exposure of the Bulak Banteng Village area of Surabaya in the health, socio-cultural, economic, and general fields are 0.0469, 0.0871, 0.1809, and 0.3551, respectively. So the overall vulnerability is 0.67, which is included in the medium vulnerability criteria.

Abstract

The free span that occurs in the subsea pipeline can cause fatigue due to vortex induced vibration and local buckling. From the risk of failure that may occur, a risk-based inspection scheduling required. The 14" Underwater pipe belongs to PT. The X located in the Madura Strait is used to transmit gas from the CPP to ORF with a length of 65 km which has 554 free spans. In scheduling inspections, the commonly used codes are API RP 580 and DNV RP F116. This journal will discuss the difference between these two codes. Reliability calculations use Monte Carlo simulation with VIV failure mode and local buckling failure mode. The consequences of failure are reviewed on safety, environmental and asset aspects. API RP 580, shows the environmental aspect and the safety aspect of both modes of failure has the next inspection in 6 years, while the asset aspect is 3 years. At DNV RP F116, scheduling inspection of safety aspect on both modes is 3 years and environmental aspects is a year later, while the asset aspect would be better to change the pipe

Abstract

Lifting is one method in the loadout process. Lifting is the activity of moving a structure using the help of a crane. The loadout process moves the structure from the yard to the barge. In this study, a lifting analysis was carried out on the topside offloading platform structure. The analysis also considers the center of gravity shift factor, dynamic load factor (DAF), and other safety factors that occur in the structure during the lifting process. Dynamic load factor using Dynamic Amplification Factor. Cog shift during lifting affects the amount of load being lifted. The most significant load received by the lifting point is 872.507 kN at lifting point 3. During the lifting process, no failure was found in the structural members, as evidenced by the maximum UC value of 0.87. The Padeye used is designed according to the DNV OS-H205 criteria. Several checks on the padeye structure were carried out, comparing the stress that occurred with the allowable stress on several stress reviews, such as tensile stress, shear stress, and bending stress. Local analysis was also carried out on the padeye structure to determine the stress on the padeye structure. Local analysis of the padeye structure was conducted using the ANSYS Workbench software. The results of the regional analysis showed the equivalent von-mises of 164.96 MPa in the padeye structure and 140.04 MPa at the joints, with the allowable stress of ASTM A36 steel material of 250 MPa.

Abstract

The need for natural gas in Indonesia has developed very rapidly, thus encouraging the construction of many production support facilities. One of them is the Wellhead Platform B (WHP-B) in West Pangkah waters, East Java. This production platform is in shallow water conditions with a depth of less than 5 m and a distance of less than 5 km from the shoreline. Therefore, when the pipe installation process is carried out, a crane barge or construction vessel type cannot be used. To be able to connect the gas flow from the well to the production platform (WHP-B), it requires a supporting structure in the form of a spool and riser. The size of the spool and riser that will be installed on WHP-B is 16” and 6” with the condition that the riser and spool are connected. A crawler crane carried by a barge can be used for the installation process to occur efficiently. For the 16”-6” riserspool to be lowered simultaneously, it requires a temporary structure that serves to clamp the two pipes so that they can be installed simultaneously. This structure is a modification between the padeye and the brace clamp. The process of lowering the 16”- 6” riser-spool experienced a critical condition when it was in the splash zone. Based on the global analysis results, it is known that the UC that occurs is 0.97 with a vertical bending stress of 172.36 MPa in the 3rd padeye-brace clamp structure. After conducting local analysis on the 3rd brace clamp, it is known that the clamp structure is still in a safe condition with a maximum von Mises stress of 2.42 MPa and a maximum deformation of 0.0096 cm.
